I think the best thing about it is the fact that although Keith is developing an updated version of the site, he isn't forcing us into a half-baked website that's both old and new. We can still use the old formatted site so nothing is painfully broken. The pet art is also amazing! Simplicity also leaves me less overwhelmed because Neo has WAAAAY too much stuff anymore for me. Maybe I'm old...

yeah i tried the new site when i first signed up but ran into some issues so i'm glad i can use the old version! and same i get overwhelmed on neopets now, so instead i watch people on youtube do hours of videos about the updates and lore so i can still keep up with news (even though i probs won't play again lol)

Honestly, I couldn't be bothered. I barely bother with Subeta lore lol. Everything I know is pretty surface level. I have too much other stuff on my mind in whatever media I AM obsessed with and just irl stuff to worry about to really care. I mainly just use Subeta as a little forum oasis in the big vast internet and enjoy all the lovely creative writing on all the pet pages.

same i love reading the pet pages! hope i can get around to writing my own some day. and there are some subeta NPCs that i absolutely love so that's mostly what i care about in terms of lore (and also holiday lore ig but i haven't been around for any yet)

Oh I basically missed most of the holiday lore in the years I was off the site lmao. Collecting things is most of the fun for me outside of the pet pages and writing. Creating galleries with items I like and such. I love me my lil blubbies and blobbies and matters and such 🥰

yeah i get that, i love collecting wardrobe items for different outfits. and my sis loves the books so she spends a ton of my sP on that lol

My one pet is a reference to a book character and is my Book pet! Gonna get that bookworm achievement one day...

They have an audiobook version on audible read by Peter Larkin which is how I "read" it and honestly I prefer it because the guy reading it is FANTASTIC with the voice expressiveness.
