A bonfire sounds like a lot of fun! We had our holiday party at work today for the parents and kiddos. Lots of food...and also lots of people. I wore a cute festive outfit with a santa poncho that I really like. Told all the kids I was Santa Vikki. xD

My bosses also gave me a norse Yule card, which I thought was pretty awesome. I mean, it's the first time I've gotten specifically a Yule card, for one thing, but also it being in norse is just extra cool

lol countries.. states... all fun to visit. A good bye for now she will be leaving as the funding who is paying for her stopped... Shame, she was so nice and helpfull.

it was! I still smell like burned stuff... I did had a shower when i came home. My coat is still outside.. smells bad.

Well, I'm pagan so I celebrate Yule, the winter solstice. Really, the traditions between Yule and Christmas are very much the same. Many of the traditions for christmas were taken from Yule. A good example of this is the 12 days of Christmas. Never made sense as a kid, since christmas is only one day...That comes from Yule, which is 12 days long, starting from December 21st until January 1st.

My bosses are pagan as well and so they gave me a norse holiday card that specifically wishes a happy Yule in Norse, which I found to be very unique. I'm curious where they got it.

yes it does! Alone on vacation (group trip but made friends), alone to the theater/movies or going to places to meet people i met online (instagram, facebook, postcrossing). Scared as .... beep... but glad it did it and had loads of fun.

Hiya KSrs Sorry been mia. Been around but super busy and when I get online I do my dailies, stuff some trees, make some HAs and go on my way most days. Not a lot of hanging around. Probably will be about the same through Christmas at least, maybe a day or two after as my brother will be here until the 27th, I think. Am hoping maybe most stuff will be done before Saturday and except for some food prep I won't have anything else to do Saturday, but I feel like that's hoping for a lot. lol Tomorrow won't be busy as such but mom has a dr appt and we had snow today and we have a bitter wind now so I do not know what the roads will be like in the morning when her appt is. It will be sunny in the afternoon so it should be fine by then. I sure wish humans could come up with a way to keep snow off the roads. I'd enjoy snow a lot more.

Super busy time for everyone it's seems! I even missed melody yesterday 🤦🏼‍♀️ my hubby has a busy time at work, and yesterday came home at 9 pm Hopefully today will be better. Fingers crossed

Been just doing same old. It has been foggy/inversion bad air here. I got an eczema rash on my face and neck from it. Had to get a meds refill. Been getting ready for Christmas/luminaire.

everything ok?

- Yeah, it is now. My back has been acting up. I was flat on my back in bed on Wednesday until Thursday afternoon. Then I mistakenly thought the Secret Santa was due on that day and forced my hubby to let me get on the laptop to see. Luckily, it wasn't due until today. Phew! It's still twinging a but now and then. My doc upped my meds which hubby has gone out to get so I should be really good in a couple of hours. ;) 2 days off? Lucky gal! And I heard that a database crash wiped out part of Subeta on Wednesday. I have no idea how true that is. :D
