thanks!
no one knew, they are so hard to find i gave up and thought they will come when they come... Nice and warm is always good.
Been very windy and rainy since yesterday, got home dry from my evening shift but slept not that great, keep waking up from the hard winds...
- I like the way you think! A little somethin-somethin in the egg nog and it's all good. :D
- Yeah, they are more difficult to get this year. There's a thread in the Luminaire forum by Mayla that is helping people get the fairies for the achievement. Let me see if I can find it for you...here it is. You should be able to get some more help there. :) It's been windy and blustery all day here, too. There's supposed to be a big storm blow through but just enough rain to make everything muddy. :D
Well, interesting couple of days.
I live in Tennessee, which you may have heard just got hit by a major tornado. It was very close to us and did a lot of damage both around where I live and to my hometown. We were out of power from about 4:30 last night to 1 am this morning. We're luckier than a lot of places in that regard, seeing as thousands are still without power. (Just checked the outage site. Still 20,000 people without power)
Unfortunately one of the places that got destroyed was our favorite bar, and my roommate's storage unit may have gotten damaged as well as it's across the street from said bar. I drove around surveying the damage earlier, but I couldn't see a whole lot about that road. It was closed with several trucks working to fix everything, so I could only see what I could see from the main road.

Oh my gosh, that's terrifying. I'm so glad to hear that you're safe and sound, at least. Everything else can be replaced but life and limb are number one. I really hope the power company can get everyone back online ASAP and that you can start to pick up the pieces of everything really soon.
So glad you are ok at least :) I cannot imagine a similar catastrophe. Here (Italy) is not a tornado zone so far, but Climate change is doing pretty well to make everything as a tropical place. We have earthquakes though, not pretty either 🥲
How is everyone' Mondays going? I'm feeling a lil nostalgic, don't know why ! Maybe is the weird/ sad book I'm reading.
Thanks again for the buggy GA! I'd accept ever the fairies if there was a way to free them all at once. Cannot stand to do it for every one of them 😓I'm a lazy girl

So kind of you but I will leave them for someone who will actually get the achievement ☺️☺️ I'm not ready 😂

& the rest & lurkers
Been to Germany yesterday with my work bestie to Münster to a christmas market. What a big, old and nice city! With multiple christmas markets troughout the city. We left at 10am and i was home at 9pm and she at 9:30pm.. Long day but we had so much fun.
- You're welcome :) It snowed here last night. Not a lot, just enough to cover everything. It's all melted by now though. The Christmas markets sound like fun! You must be exhausted from your adventures. :D
That sounds like an amazing day! I miss Europe so much. The culture, the history, the architecture. It's so much different to everything here. Hopefully one day I'll get to go back and visit my family in Poland around Christmas time so I can see some of the magic of the cities at this time of year!
I'm grateful for how lucky we were, considering how close to us some of the damage is. It was very unsettling after the tornado passed though. We live right down the road from the hospital, and all we could hear for hours after the tornado passed was just constant sirens.
A Christmas market sounds lovely, Emory! I don't think I've ever been to something like that. Most Christmassy thing I've done besides just put my tree up is I went to a Christmas bus tour last night. It's where different artists will come with their tour busses all decorated for christmas and let people come look at them, and you can vote on the best decorated. It was a tradition for my Dad and I to go together for years. We've just kept missing it the past several. I didn't end up finding them until towards the end, so I didn't get to meet the whole band, but I did get to meet the guitarist of 3 Doors Down. Also got some hot chocolate!
I need to buy some hot chocolate for the house. I had some, but I've drunk it all

Hot chocolate sounds lovely. I'm sure it'll be a nice little bright spot amidst everything else getting to enjoy some. Is it very cold where you're at?
It's been between the 20s and 50s lately...20s in the morning and 40s or 50s in the afternoon. I've heard it's going to be a bad winter this year since it was an El Nino year, so I'm just waiting on that first blizzard. I know it's coming.

That's crazy! We're having El Nino effects, too. Usually by now it's easily 20 degrees colder and we've got like 2 to 3 feet of snow but so far nothing. It's still been sweater weather most days and we've had a couple of dustings of snow but they're gone as soon as they come. They're definitely forecasting a hard, bitterly cold January for us, though, so we're bracing for that, too.
i was monday was in bed on asap. Had tuesday to relax. Oh snow.. we had a wee bit last week but was gone as soon as it fell..
it's such a nice city to visit and nearby to, just 2 hours away..
i can understand that some where not so lucky as you. I never been to a christmas market but it was fun and as it was in a nearby country it's more fun to.
- I'm jealous of your ability to travel to a foreign country at a whim. Here it's a huge production to go a town over let alone to a whole different country. :D
it's nice we have neighbour countries so close by. So we can visit and go home in a day. And i can understand in your situation it's not easy.
- Lol - nope, it's not easy considering the border with Canada is about 800 miles away. I think, I'm not sure though, it may be closer. I've been tto Canada one time, same with Mexico. :D
lol yeah that will be to far.. It's nice then to be closer to other countries here. Germany, Belgium and france are close here
& the rest & lurkers Bonfire tonight at the local farm for me tonight. Drinks and christmas/voulenteer gifts for us and saying good bye to someone. Will be a nice evening
