47-25, final score. Made it 13-1 this season though, which is pretty impressive!

And they honestly played a really good game, the other team was just.. better.

At least we didn't lose as much as we made everyone lose to us this year LOL

I am sorry. I fell asleep on the couch! :P I THINK I remember Nathan saying we lost our game too. I'll have to double check with him this morning (or afternoon, whenever he gets up) Its always nice when you don't lose spectacularly, even tho its nice when you WIN that way! LOL

edit 9am So. I don't know if its a good thing or a bad thing, but 2 days into fireside and I have all but one sticker and one plushie? And I only need multiples of books from Charity now too.

Anyway. Me and the neighbor are going to the Dorm Parents sale. Everything $2. Its like Colliers but for non-food stuff. So I wanted to go check it out since I actually KNEW the prices! Also Colliers is having another $10 food pickup. And I'm debating going, it is a lot of the same things, but some new - like bananas, mushrooms, tomatoes, salad, celery, onions, mixed veg bag, plus some I got last time, strawberries, blueberries, honeydew, potatoes, juice (well I didn't get any juice but it was in the pix last time and is again for today)

Ran down there ... Saw the line ... Noped it right back home. I might try later

It was a madhouse of piles of stuff :o I mean, there was nice things there and I could have got a whole lot more, but I really didn't need it :P They didn't have the toilet paper, laundry soap and other good things like that there, like they've had in the "pop up sales" they've had at colliers... but I did get a few nice things. I got like 12+ items for $15. But two of the things I got had 6 things in it hahahah. I got those candy cane decorations that you stick in the ground outside, they were 6 in a box. (I guess it was $2 or LESS because otherwise I'd have spent more on the stuff I got...) I got a cat/dog hair brush that is supposed to pop the fur off the brush for you when you push the button up. I got FOUR cat scratch cardboard thingys (Cheddar loves them) I got a new toiletries bag for at school. I've been looking for one and haven't found one the right size, this one was. I got a candle for Nathan's stocking stuffer....I got a 4pk of plastic containers because Shane keeps taking mine so I needed a few more lol and why pay full price? I almost picked up 2 or three of them but then I wouldnt' have needed that many So it was interesting, not quite what I thought, but not a bad experience and if I had money to just have fun, I'd go again. Lots of decor, like kitchen hand towels and signs and things. Lots of kids toys (I could have gone to town for the classroom, playdoh, trucks, dolls, stuffed animals...but told myself NO!) Oh and I got 2 skeins of yarn - smaller size. Which I looked at walmart for and didnt' want to buy at that price, plus they didnt' have the colors I wanted. I'm making these little pompom beanie hat ornaments from yarn and a strip of toilet paper roll... and I'd asked Katie what colors for Wesleys family...purple. I forgot what other color but then she said their team was alabama so like orange and white...(she said, I'll have to double check lol) so I got purple and orange yarn now to go with what I had at home already lol The purple is sparkly

Haha, I just bought one of those hats for our elf :P I didn't really want the hat, just the scarf, but the hat came with it. They are very cute, though!

I never did get into the Elf, all I can say is thank goodness :P Nathan was just a bit too old when it came along It is cute and all, but I'd go crazy trying to remember to move it or have it do pranks or whatever ! LOL

I do not like beanie hats at all. Or any hat really. They make my head hot and my hair fly-away. Ugh. I do have this ponytail ear-warmer thingy, and that irritates me too because it fuzzes up my hair also, but I like it better than the hats when my ears are cold.

Haha and Katie just got back to me. Its Alabama Tide, so crimson and white, no orange hahah bought orange yarn for no reason. Oh well. It was only a buck.

My hair is always a disaster.. I always hated hats, but now I hate my ears being cold more so.. I wear the hats :P

Ours doesn't do pranks, he just moves around. And if he doesn't move, Iz (only Iz, now!) understands :P

But sometimes he does some silly stuff. Like today he tried lifting the 3 pound weight, and ended up stuck under it, etc :P

If I lived w here you do, I'd probably wear the hats too LOL But here, we rarely need the hats except on freezing days, and the ear warmer plus my jacket hood (which also frizzes out my hair) is enough for me to run in & out of the buildings. The only time I really get cold is when its recess or I have a long walk into the store.

Woweee, thats a lot! Congrats! I checked earlier, and I already had all the fireside achievements :) I think I got the last one I needed last year.

Believe me, we think it gets plenty cold LOL But most of the time its barely below freezing and I think we've rarely gotten into the teens.

The charitable one isn't in with the Fireside achievements, I had to search for it. Which is.. weird :P

I'm still missing one book but I may just buy it haha.. or maybe I'll just keep vending and turning that stuff in. :/

What?! I couldn't find it in fireside, I looked like 3 times. Maybe I'm just blind.

Isabelle and I went and saw The Grinch with the girl scouts this morning, and then we went and did some grocery shopping.. and I found the lego star wars advent calendar! On clearance! AND another lego set that I had wanted on clearance, but it said they were both out of stock. :/

BUT! I found them both, and they were both only $20 instead of $45 and $65 and I'm very pleased haha.

Oooh very nice. I haven't had a real advent calendar in forever. I mean, I got this cute cottage that I can put my own things in, but I want someone else to fill it for me :P So it's just a cute cottage advent calendar decoration. I did put stuff in it last year, candies and some tiny ornaments. But that just wasn't so fun for me. I saw this puzzle one online and I'd love to get something like that, but it was $40 on sale! :o Nope. And of course, I've had the cheap chocolate pieces ones, but not for a few years because the chocolate in those is bad :(

I completed my childhood classes schoolwork. So nothing new in those until Thursday. I didn't do anything for the empl class - I need to think up answers to those questions and practice answering them and make a video before the 10th.

Where did you find the Charitable achievement, if not in Fireside?

I gave up and ordered two kinder ones online for Iz and El, but they won't be here until the 6th. Iz really just.. wanted.. chocolate. Of course she did :P Connor bought Lily one, so like.. I didn't bother since she already had one!

I searched for it using the search bar, to find it :P

I just really want chocolate too. But I'm a grown up, so I just go buy a bag of chocolate LOL Plus right now I have like 8 more bags of hershey kisses from Shane. In addition to the hersheys mini bars I bought for my candy tray on the table, and the bag of mini peanut butter M&Ms :P

However I am trying not to eat TOO much chocolate. Spread it out.

I just realized.. I have NO. CLUE. When I'm supposed to make my cookies for this weekend :/ Or my cheesecake bars for Monday. Ahhhh.

Just a busy week. This weekend is the Christmas Market, so if you don't see me.. I'm freezing my butt off :P

Friday after work I'm going to help the womens civic league set up, then Friday night I'm working in the community tent with the FOM (and Lily is working in the elf school), Saturday morning I'm taking Lily carolling with 4H at Christmas in our Hometown, then back to the Christmas Market for the librarys cookie walk with El, and Lily is working at a local authors booth, and then Iz and I are doing the horse and carriage. Then Sunday morning I'll be at the welcome booth and then the womens civic league booth, Lily is at the FoM cookie booth for a bit, and El is signed up for horse and carriage.

Mmm cheesecake... tho I've never had cheesecake bars

Ooh lots of Christmas cheer and fun!

I plan to go to the parade on the 12th with the neighbor and then maybe drive around the park to see the lights (if they put them up again this year) -if I don't see the lights that day I'll go another day. I do want to go see them. I also have a Christmas Chorus Concert to go to on a Tuesday but I'm not sure which ONE yet :P AND the school is having a "party" in the cafeteria one day after school, and we're supposed to bring a $10 white elephant gift. I am not sure I will go to that because then either Nathan has to come back and get me, or sit around waiting on me.... (usually we've gone out and done a dinner and I just go by myself)

Got 3 of the 4 questions answered. The hardest is the last - "Have you ever had a conflict with a coworker and how did you resolve that conflict" Because honestly, I avoid conflict like the plague. IF I don't like something someone is doing, I ignore it unless it directly affects me which most of the time it doesn't. If it DOES affect me, it really depends on how much it affects me and who it is, and again, most of the time, I ignore it :P Because most of the time it is not worth the extra effort to deal with whatever it is. I would rather just let it go.

OH! So this morning I discussed with the lead teacher an idea I had over the weekend about our three/four "problem" kiddos. So I want to remove them from the classroom and do a mini lesson with them during the times they are the worst. Well one of those times anyway. So like first thing in the morning. They don't want to STOP playing and clean up. Then they don't sit and listen to the story, songs or calendar stuff because they want to go play or talk. SO I thought, if I remove them from the room where all the distractions are, and have only 3-5 kids in a small group and I do a social/emotional lesson/story and then the calendar songs/stuff that MAYBE they'll learn to sit and listen better? Going to try it for a few weeks. I also think we need to remove one child AFTER lunch, which is when I read the story, if not TWO of them again, because they both constantly get up and into stuff at that time as well - but I don't see the teacher doing what I asked to do in the mornings. I don't blame her, that time period is her "break" time - to go use the potty and have a minute to herself (mine is when she takes them all out for recess, I stay inside and set out water and then go potty and have a few minutes for myself). I did suggest to her that we find somewhere else for at least the one child to go for the 15mins of my story. Even tho SOMETIMES he does sit and listen to it. He actually had a really GREAT day today (comparatively) - only some yelling and only a little bit of getting up and whining about stuff. No hitting or pushing or screaming really except that one time and he had good reason (someone took his stuff he was building with- no he shouldnt have yelled, but its understandable)

OHOHOH HEY I CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT TO TELL YOU. Yesterday my friend Travis (and Megan) had their baby! He's 38 and personally I'd rather jump off a bridge but I'm very happy for him haha.

Oooh congrats to your friend. I'm 46 and even tho I know it won't happen - if I was to get pregnant again I'd be happy about it! <3 lol I know. I'm weird. I just love kids. I know there would be so many more risks and complications due to my age and man I'd be old when the kid grew up. But I'd be happy about it! :P (My younger brother, the one with the ton of kids, just turned 44 and his youngest will turn 4 in Jan) :P

I was honestly surprised she agreed to it. I sort of expected her to be like, Eh good idea but we can't do that. >>> BUT - I do it all the time with one or another of these kids because of what they are doing. Which is one of the reasons I came up with the idea. I mean if I am already always leaving to take one of them out, why not make it so I just do it on purpose, be proactive, and try to teach them something rather than just walk around so the other kids in the class can learn? (I have always at least taken the time while walking around to talk to the kid and try to get them to learn that they need to listen, follow directions, be kind, be calm, use words, whatever the case may be for that time I took them out of the room)
