I tried my Ring Fit game once. It was a bit of a hassle to set up, but fun once you get started. :) Hopefully your health will be good enough to give it a go. The sports games sounds fun, but I think I would want someone to play against for that one, which I don't have very often.

I used to play the Wii Fit ones against my Dad, but he's not all that good at some of the games (he doesn't do tactics, and just waves the controller around randomly :P) so for the Switch I figured I was better just playing solo ;)

It gotta be a bit competitive for it to be fun. 👼 I wouldn't even get any of my folks to play a videogame with me, even something like wii sports. :P Mario kart for the switch is also a lot of fun, albeit not exactly a workout.

my Mum refused to play any of the games - apparently she prefers to be the referee 😇
I'm not really all that keen on racing games, as it all moves a bit fast for me 😊

I ended up having a bit of an accident last night. I got up to do some diamond painting, since I was not able to fall asleep. When I got off the stool my leg had "fallen asleep", so when I put weight on it, my ankle twisted and I kind of collapsed on the floor. My anke still hurts a bit when I put weight on it, so no work out for me today. Or much of anything. My ankle is not that swollen or anything, so I hope it will get better fast. Typical me to hurt myself just getting off a stool. facepalm
Well, that is an important job too. angel Understandable. I had to give up on one game myself that moved too fast for me to even know what was going on. :P
See above. lol Also, you might want to check out the Atomic heart trailer. xD

yowch, that sounds nasty :( Hopefully if you keep it elevated it'll ease up quickly squishes
I know that people like really busy games with impressive graphics, but sometimes I wish they'd just tone it down a bit so it's easier to keep up with! :P

Feels like the silliest accident ever. I did elevate it for a good while, before finally getting some sleep. Quite the night. The stool drive me nuts, no matter how I sit they tend to cut off my blood circulation. But the kitchen island is the best place to do the diamond painting.
Or you have stories and game mechanics to complex that you don't remember it all when you get back into playing. :P

is it possible to add a cushion, so it stops your leg from pressing straight onto the solid part of the stool?
Those games can be really irritating! Or when you have to get to a particular place in the game for it to save your progress.... and you always get called away / have to leave the game before you reach that point :K :P

I do have a cushion, doesn't seem to help much. I am going to have to see if I can find a solution so that this doesn't happen again. :)
It is so much better when the game lets you save whenever you feel like it. Especially if they put the save part too far between. :K It is not uncommon for me to have to look up a guide. :P

that kind of seat can be really annoying if a cushion doesn't help :K all I can think, is maybe seeing if you can add something small like a rolled up flannel / face cloth under your knee (assuming that's where the stool presses too hard on your leg which makes it fall asleep!)
I always look up a walk through guide! I even did that for Sports Resort on the Wii, when I wanted to find the quick route to find all the items on the cycling game 😇

That is not a bad idea. :) There is not much room to add something to rest my legs on either. I think I will try your suggestion. Thankies!
Hehe. There is a guide for pretty much any game out there. Back in the days I was screwed if I couldn't figure out how to do something in a game!

That sounds like the kind of stool I'd hate... although I think I'd probably be too short for a lot of bar stools anyway :P
nods I think there must've been loads of things in computer games that I missed, before there were all these guides online ;)

Today was super long and busy. I did have an appointment but I had to cancel it because of all the other things going on! I had to take Melody to the vet first thing for a drop off appointment. She developed some sort of raised infection or something. It was gross to say the least. After dropping her off I went to petsmart--and waited for an hour as they got the fish unloaded. I bought three Corydora cat fish, three guppies and 2 plecos. One pleco is going in my ten gallon in a week. the ten tested well surprisingly but the 20 and and Mum's 65 need some, er, adjustment lol. After petsmart we came home and I unloaded the items and floated the fish. Once the fish were in the tank, we left to get me something to eat for I missed breakfast--and then we went to the base to pick up our online order--then to the vet to pick up the dog. we finally got home at like 13.30. Then I took a shower and sat and watched my fish before passing out. I'm totally knackard but it's nice to have somethign in the tank. Hopefully these guys will survive. the two plecos are MIA at the moment but hopefully they'll be out more tomrorow...
Tomorrow I have a doc appointment and picking up my video game which I am super excited about.
I never liked bar stools either for the same reason. It is awkward to climb on to them, and it gets uncomfortable. :P It was the only option for sitting at my kitchen island though.
Probably yes. It was very easy to miss secret stuff unless you knew someone that could clue you in.
Busy bee! Poor Mel, I hope her infection clears up soon and that the new fish will take well to their tank. Picking up Hogwarts Legacy? I got mine in the mail earlier this week. :D

thanks. No Takes of symponia. Legacy is not out till july for switch
Ohh, that should keep you busy for a while. Have fun! I didn't think of that. I got it for playstation. :)

that sounds like one heck of a day! Yay for the new fish! How're they doing now they've had a little chance to settle in? :D
Which video game are you getting today?
I think bar stools must have been designed by a man who was 7 feet tall :P
Unless you spent ages in each area of the game, trying to find secret passageways or anything that wasn't overly obvious - just in case there was something to find (and usually when I tried, there wasn't anything there anyway! :P)

I should :D It was one of my favourite game on the game cube so I'm having a good time so far :) No worries, you didn't know. I was very disappointed they pushed it back so far but oh well.
so far so good. Everyone's alive that I can see. The plecos are still mia o.0
Tales of Symphonia for the switch. It's an rpg. I love it! I played it so many times back when it was on the game cube. The sequel was on the wii but I've recently sold my wii. I'm so happy to have this game back though!
The game cube was awesome. xD I am finally getting near to the end of Persona 5. LOL Still loving the game, but man I am ready to play something new soon. That is the trouble with releasing a game on such different systems. It is a shame it got pushed back. I didn't know about that.
Some sort of giant human for sure. :P I have the trouble often with regular chairs too, as they are made for people taller than me. :P
You don't want to miss out on an important item or something because you didn't search the area well enough. I know the struggle. :nods:

maybe they're a bit like the guppies I had, and are pretty shy (although I will admit mine were tormented by the other fish in there :P)
That's always a bonus when it's a game you love! :D
the 'office chair' we had to use for the computer, was a similar kind of giant size.... if I sat with my backside right against the back of the chair, my feet stuck out in the front as my knees didn't reach to the front of the chair! 😊
