I have found cash shop items and other pricey things in there too before so I always make sure to go to the donation center page every so often.
And you have to know what parts would work together, drivers etc. Seems way to intimidating to me to learn. :P
:nods: Eventually I am going to have to replay Ocarina of time. They might do a remaster at some point.
That is awesome! I can't wait for my copy of Hogwarts Legacy to get here. :D There are no game stores left in my city now that GameStop closed down all their stores. So I can't trade games. I can still sell them online though if needed I guess.

I definitely need to start checking that out more then! ;)
nods And there's parts of the inners of the computer that can hold a charge, so you have to know which elements to never touch.... if my cousin lived closer, it'd be tempting to see if he could just add some extra workings into the computer for me laughs

It can't hurt. I have the link bookmarked so it is easy to get to it.
That would scare me a bit. :P I didn't even know some elements can hold a charge. Shows how little I know. I don't think I know anyone that could help me either. That would be my problem as well. And prices on some parts can be pretty high too.

I only knew about that (but not which exact parts it is!) because an old school friend had helped me clean the dust from inside my first computer, while warning me to not touch anything inside there!

Yesterday was a seriously long day with a lot of pain. I went mattress shopping and after several hours I found and bought a bed in the box memory foam mattress. Then I went pick up groceries and got home to find well over half the bag of oranges were rotten. Back to the store to exchange them -grumpy face- then I had to move the old mattress out, put all my bedding in the wash (cos fresh bedding only makes sense on remaking a bed). Then we had to fight with the plastic to get the new mattress out... THat was so unfun LOL It wasn't until after 6 that I could sorta sit down--which was like 6 h0urs of non-stop work. But I still had to do my bedding which wound up taking till 1:30 am.
But that's not all, I got up at 8.30am this morning and had to go get my medication which is half an hour away yet, I was hurting so I postponed it till lunch time. It till till 3.00 before we got back and I'm still hurting falls 0ver-
Paddy The bg, as far as I know, is based of the anime movie Castle in the Sky. The dubbed version kinda bites, but the Subtitled version is pretty good. It's been years since I've seen it though lol. I added the dragon, cos , you know, dragon lol.
I can see how it can be too intense, jarring.
Lene You really need to. It's so awesome.
that's sad about not having any stores to sell to, but at least there's still ebay
Most of the time it is cheaper items, sometimes none. But you can get really lucky. Sometimes people seem to dump their entire account before quitting or they will just do a big giveaway maybe.
It was good that they warned you. :) I would have to do a lot of research online on how to build one, since I don't know anyone that could help me. I am not so sure I am up for that, only to potentially risk it not working out. :P
That was a lot of work! Was the new mattress comfy?
Yup. It is not often I sell games, I like to collect. But it was nice having a place to buy used games and trade.

its firmer than i am used to. But i do feel it will be better for me in the long run.
Hehe I remember. Yes that is useful
I hate mattress shopping :P How did you get on with the new mattress though, as I know some styles of mattress can take quite a while to get used to ;)
Hopefully today has been an improvement on yesterday?
The dragon fits it perfectly :D
I've moved the link in my notepad widget so it's nearer the top - that might encourage me to check it more often ;)
nods if you know what you're doing, I guess it can work really well.... but if you aren't really sure, then there's probably a million things that could go wrong if you tried!

yeah lol I didn't enjoy it much either true be told. It's a lot firmer than my old one so it's taking a bit of getting used to. I've woken every night so far a couple of times to shift positions. But I think I'm in less pain so there's a positive :D
Well sorta, but today also had some errands, like needing to go buy some chicken. I'm not in love with going to stores at the moment but the miliary's grocery store is less populated than say Walmart, so I went there and picked a few things up... then we also had to go to Walgreens for a few small items. Got back, showered and took a nap lol. I'm still working on my stamina. how about your day? why thank you. Your HA is truly ribbiting :D
that sounds better if you're in less pain, but firmer does take quite a while to adjust to! My last new mattress was exceptionally firm compared to my old one (the chap in the shop had tried saying I needed a soft mattress, but when I sat on their demo mattress, it was as soft as my knackered mattress, so I figured that was stupid :P)
That's handy having a less busy grocery store nearby ;) I've still not got my head around being near lots of people since the start of the pandemic :P My day was pretty boring if I'm honest :P
hehe thanks - Niamh realised she'd hardly ever worn that top, so I thought a froggy theme would work ;)

I do hope it will be better for you back.
It is a bit sad that digital downloads and online retailers killed the physical stores.
I keep my donation corner link and others on the sidebar to the right. So it is really easy to just click it when I feel like checking.
I only know how to use computers. I don't really know how to fixt them if there are problems. :P Googling sometimes help with minor issues.

I did have some luck with Blackheart Hollow the other day - I think I managed to snaffle three things from there in one day! :D
Google is definitely my friend when sorting Mum & Dad's computer problems in particular :P I do prefer problem solving that involves typing or clicking, rather than having to look in the computer's base unit!

Yeah it will totally take some time. Plus it needs to relax a small bit it's firmer than the floor model was.
LOL yes that does seem rather dumb lol
I can't blame you. I'm not thrilled with going to the store much myself :/ Sorry the day was boring.
Well froggy is fun :D
thank you :) yeah. Brick and mortar shops seem to be less and less.
if it's memory foam then hopefully it won't take too long to mould to the right kind of shape so it feels more comfortable ;) I tried a memory foam pillow before, but couldn't handle the way it kind of moved as I wriggled, so I don't think I could ever have a memory foam mattress! :P
Well I guess in a way it's marginally better to have a boring day rather than one stuffed full of chores ;)

3 things during one day is awesome! It is not that often I even see something restock there. But I always grab whatever is in there when I can.
Typing or clicking is the only thing I will attempt. No way I am going to open the laptop to see what is inside it. :P My current laptop seems to be doing okay. Except for problems with the screen flickering at times. I have yet to be able to resolve that.
I think it is like that everywhere. Brick and Mortar stores struggle. Except supermarkets. But even that part of retail is changing.

I was amazed to even see one - most of the time I tend to get the "Maleria says you've been hanging round too much" without spotting anything ;)
Flickering screens are really annoying :K and even more when it's a laptop and you can't just unplug it / plug it back in again to see if that resolves it! Odd question though, have you checked that the graphics card driver is up to date, as sometimes that can make screens do odd things (probably nothing to do with that though) ;)

one recommended way is to walk or crawl on the mattress, but I've not really had much need. It's firmer that I want but I am still sleeping well so I guess it's not a huge problem.
oh I love my memory foam pillow lol It did take me awhile to get used to it though, I'll admit. I have a shredded one so it can be fluffed and feels similar (at least to me) like feather pillows.
lol true.
yep. So anything exciting coming up soon?
In the end I decided I preferred lying on the mattress rather than kind of sinking into it like I did with the old one ;) But yeah as long as you're sleeping and your back isn't yelling at you every morning, then that's a good sign ;)
Mine was more like a huge foam pad kind of shape rather than fluff-able ;) which probably didn't help! :P
Whoa, that's a striking HA today! Is that another new character? ;)

That is what usually happens. I have that page bookmarked to in subeta so it is easy to check. I have gotten a few good things over the year, but nothing amazing.
I have tried to update or reinstall the graphics card drivers. But to no avail. Other than that, I have no clue what can be done. Or why it happens. Seem to happen more if it is not connected to a power outlet for some reason.

That's really weird, especially with it happening more when it's battery powered o.O
