Not much will happen without a good idea, so that is half the battle. :D

Thanks. I wanted Aslan to look a bit more like in the movies. :)

It truly is, one of the best Zeldas. ;)

that's very true ;) And I keep changing ideas all the time for a couple of my pets :P I've not seen the movies (if I like the books, I tend to avoid the movies, as it never seems to match up to my expectations), but it's definitely more how I'd picture Aslan :D

Niamh wanted to use that new foreground item, so I was just trying to add anything that would work with it :P makes a note of the book name

nods and I think they've still got some backlog from the pre-Christmas strikes as there's at least one thing I know that was sent before December 12th that hasn't arrived yet :K Potentially Christmas cards as well!

Same, it was a great achievement for Nintendo to make such an amazing 3d Zelda. <3 Breath of the wild is a close second.. even though I didn't love the dungeons as much. They were a bit weird and tricky to figure out at times.

The Narnia movies are a lot of fun to watch. :D I haven't really read them since I was a kid, and I watched the movies as an adult. A lot of stuff I didn't really remember. So it didn't really ruin the books for me. I bought a Narnia book set... I hope I love them as much now. :)

that sounds like a good way of doing it, especially if you've not read the books for so long ;)

Certainly with the HP movies, they never felt like they could match the books for me (probably didn't help that they had to cut so much of the book out, because it'd have made the movie way too long otherwise!!), but if it's a book I hadn't read for that long, maybe I wouldn't have that same feeling ;)

I loved the HP movies, then again I am not good at remembering those details anyway. :P Only ever read them once, I bought them all as audiobooks, so I plan on giving that a go eventually.

I've got a photographic memory for some things, so that's a disadvantage when it comes to reading books / watching movies 😊 If it's been years since I read / watched them, usually I've forgotten enough of it to be able to watch it again ;)

well it looks great, as does this new one :)

wow that's a heck of a long backlog!

I agree. And i agree. I don't really care for BoW's dungeons. I wonder if the new one will have the same style or not.

Thanks :) I wanted to try as many red items as I could, and luckily the legs worked with the split on the side of the dress :P

nods I'm still reasonably convinced that they're working from the top of the pile rather than the bottom, so anything that was posted between certain dates is probably still sitting in the sorting office :K

I hope the new breath of the wild has more of an old school dungeon design. I liked the idea of shrines scattered across the land tho. Those were fun. :D

I was not blessed with a photographic memory, but I still prefer reading, watching or playing something new, rather than something I have experienced before. I reckon there are so many books, series and games begging to seen. 👼 I always have a backlog.

there's times I wish I could watch something, then rewatch it a while later without remembering so much of it! 😊 But that's a very good point, as there'll always be something new that you can see instead ;) :D

well it worked brilliantly. Lol. I would not be surprised

maybe a hybrid of the two. But i miss the dungeons. It doesn’t feel as Zelda to me without them

We met up with my brother yesterday and his family for a museum visit. They are moving and mum wanted desperately to see him and the rest of them. We spent about three hours there. But it was a lot of walking for me so pain was had. Still ot was nice to see them. Despite the fact that only one of them kept a mask on :K How are you?

trouble is, how do I get Niamh to change to a different outfit without her wanting to do an all-one-colour theme again?! :P

[edit] gives in and goes with a purple look

The dungeons are such a big part of what makes Zelda, well Zelda. Dungeons were there, just a very different feel to them. Maybe the old school dungeons would look out of the place in the more modern game? I dunno.

I am glad you guys got to see your brother and his family. Are they moving far away? Sorry you had to deal with so much pain tho. :hugs: Doing okay. Slept well for once, so I feel less like a zombie. Mum visisted so we went for a walk and made veggie soup. And had ice cream for dessert. xD

Raven always seem to find it a bit weird that I would not revisit some of my favorite games and whatnot. :P I can imagine it being a bit boring if you remember too much. :)

I guess the main advantage of being able to revisit old games is that it saves money on buying new ones :P I did try starting reading one book from a random chapter, just so I had to pay more attention to the plot (seeing as I'd read it before).... ;)

I have a playstation subscription. Every month I get 2-3 new "free" games from that alone. So I don't think I will run out of games anytime soon. I do prefer owning them on a disc.. which takes some room but I love my collection.

Hopefully you will enjoy the books I got you. :D

that's a neat idea :D And yeah I'm the same - I prefer to have the disc, but I do have some downloaded games as well (just haven't played them in ages!!)

I'm sure I will - they sound perfect :D :D

haha well the purple looks amazing :D

I totally see no reason why they can't integrate the old school dungeons with new school works. :D

sounds good that you got to sleep and visited your mum :)

it's not as creative as your 'revenge of the turnips' (and radishes :P) look today though - I hadn't realised they look so good without the HA being visible! :D
