Just noticed we are closing in on the thread being locked and my needing to start a new thread. Incase I don't notice just shoot me a comment when it locks or hits like 999 posts so I can create another. Hopefully you all won't have to wait too long for me to get to it!

Hope everything went will with your test. ❤

Hello everyone. Looks like I'm having surgery on both knees. Lucky me! But he says it will help and after recovery there will be less pain. With the arthritis I have it won't take care of all of it. But less is great! :)

Good morning KSrs. Event stuff is in item directory so it shouldn't be long now!

What kind of surgery? Less pain is always a plus.

The meniscus in both knees but different places is frayed/torn and they are going to do an arthroscopy on each one and trim the edges so they are smooth again. That's the plan, but they really won't know exactly if that is all they are going to do until they get in there and see it.

- I'll keep my fingers crossed that that's all they need to do. I hope it goes well and you're back on your feet, pain free, soon. :D

- You had a nice little mini-vacation! It's been a busy week for me. My youngest graduated high school last Friday and then had a birthday this past Friday. Now that he's done with high school I'll have a lot more time on my hands. :D Happy Masq! :D

No no not at the same time. I never understood people that did that. They will be about six months apart, maybe a bit less, depending on how it all goes.

Thanks! I need all the good wishes I can get. :) Is your son going to college?

Nerve test was uncomfortable but the only part that really hurt was when they put the needle in my hand. The same place where Ghost (parakeet) likes to bite me XD

I don't have carpal tunnel syndrome. Doctor is going to go over my results to see exactly what is going on.

- I agree, doing both knees at one time is a bit much to handle. I never understood why people did that, either, unless it was because they couldn't get enough time off from work (or other obligations) in order to have the procedures done separately. My son doesn't know what he wants to do now. He edits videos and makes some good money at it and I think this has blinded him to the usefulness of professional training, whether through a vocational school or university. He's still in the mom and dad will fix things mindset and I'm not sure how to disabuse him of this notion. Kids! 😂

- Double pay is always a good thing. We don't celebrate Pentacost over here. For us it's Memorial Day weekend. My neighbor has a grill so we are going to bring the hot dogs and enjoy ourselves. :D

- lmao! We have days like that although they're not religious. President's Day is one of them. Memorial Day is a day to remember those who served in the military and gave their lives for our country. It's supposed to be a day of remembrance but most have picnics and grill to celebrate. It's our "unofficial" beginning of summer. I wish we could afford steaks for the grill but no one has that kind of money with prices as they still are. :D

- I'm doing well. I finally get some down-time since all the end-of-school bluster is behind me now. How about you? :D

That's good to hear! I'm glad things are settling down for you. It's so nice catching a bit of a break.

I've just gone back to work after 3 months off for a total hysterectomy and repeated iron infusions for persistently low ferritin so I'm super swamped during the week and it's super stressful because I've been assigned additional duties to what I had before my sabbatical so I'm a little overwhelmed. BUT I'm going to keep on trucking!

Any plans for the summer now that school's out?
