I had a day off, did nothing special But my boss send us a giftcard.

It was but a bit of a cheap giftcard.. but can't look a gift horse in the mouth (hope i am saying this correctly).

Going to meet one of my penpals tomorrow, she is coming to my town and we are going to have a high tea together.

Having an MRI Friday. Can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to it... Dripping sarcasm. But I keep telling myself that I can do it even though I barely managed the last one that was only 15 mins and this one will take 30 mins on each knee. Ugh. But I do want the detail this will provide.

Not a lot going on here. Healing up from surgery. Mom's is healing well. Mine seems to be but part of the area is still numb and sometimes painful if I touch it. Supposedly it may take months for the numbness to go away. Not thrilled with that. Hoping for more nice days and less rain so we can get outside before the summer heat.

Looking forward to Masquerade. Hope they let us know when it will start soon.

My mom hates them. Has had to stop one on a couple occasions. I know you can do it. Hope you can have some good music to listen to to distract you!

High Tea sounds really nice. Hope you had a wonderful time!

I hope your MRI went well. I don't like them as I start forgetting what direction is up around half-way through. I've had CAT scans and MRI done.

& resident lurkers Good morning all! Happy saturday! Lovely sunny weather here and i am 3 days off woohoo!!

- We don't have High Tea here. What all does it entail? Is it just a cup of tea with various pastries or an actual meal? Woohoo for 3 days off. Any plans? Any update on your neighbor? :) I really hope we get another week before Masq starts. :/ My 18 year old son graduated High School yesterday. Kids grow up so fast. :D

Good afternoon. Yay 3 days off! The High Tea sounds fun for a special occasion. I agree with Duckie. We don't have that here - at least I've never been anywhere that might have it.

My MRI actually went far better than I expected. It was the first time they didn't put my head in, so when I peeked it wasn't 5" from my face like usual. So I didn't panic. And the tech told me it would be 18 mins on each knee instead of the 30 the office estimated, so that was a nice surprise. Just glad its over. They said the dr would have the results in 2 days. I have to call the office Monday and make an apt. Hopefully I can get in next week.

You guys don't have high teas?! You are missing out on stuff!! A high tea here is lots of various teas to drink and all kinds of stuff to eat, cakes, sandwiches, cookies, chocolates, soup, scones, etc.

So far on my days off i cleaned the house a bit, watched tv, be here, wrote cards and letters to my pen pals, enjoyed the nice weather and been a couch potato. lol!

And the dance can strat now for me lol! I am ready!

High tea sounds amazing! It's not a regular thing here, but there are tea houses and restaurants that put it one once in a while for special occasions, so I'll have to check one out someday!

Going to have my Nerve Test tomorrow.

So I'm a little nervous.

Then for a day or two Jorah has seemed to be in nesting mode. Ghost and Navi were really watching over him today.
