Last week at this horrible job has started. Today, wednesday and thursday evening shifts. And tuesday and saturday day shifts. So i am hardly home most of the week... you think they would give me some better shifts my final week... nope..

Only one week to go =D

You're getting crap shifts BECAUSE it's your last week - the better shifts will go to those that remain - in the hope that they stay.

- lol that would show them! Then Murphy's Law would strike and you'll still get no sleep. At least you can dress up as a pirate while the boys swashbuckle all over the apartment keeping you awake. :D

Better for staff to leave if they are unhappy, those in charge will suffer for it was the point I was trying to express as I was not yelling just using emphasis badly.

i understand more will walk. I asked if i could leave early today and they said yes as there was enough staff. But i had to wait until another co-worker came, she was suppose to start at 5pm but at 5:30 she was still not there and my workday was till 6pm. What's the point telling i cam leave early and then i can't. I was mad and left at 5:30pm.. come one...

Staffing is like that. My job was non profit for homeless youth. Even when they knew I was sick I had to wait to leave after another staff member could fill in for me. They should have tempered their words to help you see their legal need.

Anyway after weeks of stress and treated badly i called in sick with 'tummy flu'. Not sick at all but i can't handle it anymore and these 3 days left.. well i need to think of myself and my healt.

Maybe they thought you understood their need without having to say it. Then again they allowed another to leave early.
Best just to enjoy the day, if it were me I would take 2 days but show up on the last day just to leave them with less to say.

- I don't blame you one bit for calling in sick. I would have done the same if I were in your shoes. Use the sick days to get caught up on everything so you can sit back and enjoy the free shop. :D

called in again today. First they wanted me to text my boss, i did that and she told me to call anyway.. make up your mind people... Andy way called and no problem. Sick till sunday as my last day, so no more dealing with them until next week when i turn in my stuff. But as i am leaving they won't want any sick dealings as it will take lots of paper work, etc. So said you can my make my status on monday from sick to healthy...

- honestly, I would have done the same thing. I've walked off jobs before because of poor management. Sad thing is that there are always those who need the jobs so they put up with the crap treatment. Things would be so different if people would stand up for themselves and refuse to be treated badly. Are you enjoying yourself? Getting a lot of goodies from the free shop? :D

i am hearing from a lot of people i talk to they would do the same in my case. I am glad i did. Just 1 more visit to them to give back they key, clothes, etc. That will be on my therms next week.

I got an email asking if i would fill in a form asking why i am leaving, etc. Filled it in and they are not going to like my answers...
