What the heck?!

I'm sorry you have to deal with that bs. I can understand wanting cameras for safety but you shouldn't infringe on the privacy of others. With how he's responding, he seems like an absolute creep.

Ravenhart same here, not having a few good days here. I have a folder where i put everything in and on my phone a file where i put my pics, etc in. He is a creep and thinks he is the boss of the flat and he can do anything he wants... And if you say anything to him that he does not like or he is doing something he can't he will do this.

I contacted the police and filed a report and the landlord today and well he is causing them loads of troubles to and they feel bad what is happening to me. They are going to try and sit with him and talk to with withe the police and local authority and hoping this will help. They also want a talk with all the people in the flat without him and know what is going on. After that they are hoping to set boundries, etc with him. (not going to work). And as last resort if all does not work out they are going to court to get him evicted, but that will take ages. So all and all i have to put up with it for a while longer.

Agreed! Sorry to read about your obnoxious neighbor, he has issues - stay safe and eyes and ears open. Jersey had good ideas to share and you've taken some action in notifying those that should know and the authorities.

Hey guys!! We aren’t 💯 over the health scare as there is no way to test but the IV antibiotic 2x a day by nurse me and the once a week home nurse visit is over! It was very scary to say the least but so glad my hubby is back to himself!! 💜

If you guys could send good juju, prayers, positive vibes our way that we can clear this completely we would appreciate you all!

- Oh, no! Horrid neighbors are a thorn in the side, for sure. Jersey has good ideas. Make sure you keep a record of everything that happens so if legal action is necessary you have proof of his actions. Any idea why he would put a camera up there? Is this the same neighbor who had a mulch pile on his balcony? I hope things get back to normal quickly and you feel safe at home again. hugs :D

That's OK. New bit of news, an agency I work with that helps with my utilities is offering to install a heat pump system. So fingers crossed I called and they added me to the approved list and told me that a contractor would contact me. I'm over the moon as this system is supposed to be better than central air when it comes to dealing with humidity. This will work as I already have electric heat and the system is old this building was rehabbed about 1980. It's nice that the place is already properly insulated as the laws are pretty strict about it.

I've been decent. Got a new parakeet. Her name is Freya and she is a speed demon. Can't wait until her flight feathers grow in :)

Ghost is being a good mama bird. She's teaching Freyja things like what the food is and how to get to it. She spent the majority of the day with Freyja but is now hanging out with the cockatiels.

Freyja cried about that and is now on the roof of Navi's cage where the other three birds are hanging out.

Doing okay here. Mom and I both got diagnosed with skin cancer. Mine is the most common. Hers the 2nd most. They both should be good for getting totally removed so that's good. But got to wait until May to get it removed. Waiting sucks. I just want it gone. Going to be a month of trying to distract ourselves.

That sounds great! Awesome they will help with that.

It's a wonderful agency that helps all low income adults. Been part of this program since I retired and they do have separate programs for home owners and renters. Everybody gets assistance that fits their needs providing they are low income. They have been a huge help to many, before Covid they came to your home once a year and replaced light bulbs and they will replace electrical appliances that fail. If my fridge died they would replace it - I did it myself just before I retired.

Last few days has been hell here, but i am staying strong. Took photo's of everything and saved all the nasty letters. I talked to the police, my landlord & community police officer. They all say he gone to far and they are going to get together and make a plan what and how to do next. But they will keep me informed..

Good for you for taking the steps the proper way to give information about the situation to those that need to know. Please be careful as he might have mental health issues, people can be very scary.

Thanks! Keeping safe here, closing the door once i am home and closing curtains he can't see me. I sadly run into him yesterday when i was trying to take the elevator down (i had loads of garbage) and he was in it when it opend. I had a shock but so did he, he looked at me went back in the elevator, said shit and closed the doors. In no way i was going in with him, i waited for he to be gone.. So far it's been quiet but i am on my toes..

That you ran into him there with no one else around and all he had to say was one four letter word is seemingly a good sign I think. Considering his past actions it does seem as though something has been said to him for he likes to throw his weight around in an ugly manner. I'm very happy that was the worst he did. Smart you for not getting on that elevator with him.

I think he understands now he can't mess with me and i will stand up for myself. But still i am carefull.

That you stood up to him was a smart thing, no one child or adult should be bullied. Unfortunately you can't let your guard down. Avoidance is a great way to go about it, he might be the type to think he is being challenged if you get on the same elevator. Just don't know his state of mind nor why which would make me cautious.

I would be bullied nor will I let him do it to my other female neighbors. Some told me he was bothering them to. And guard is up, I am afraid if I say something or do something he does not like he will start again. I hope the landlord, police, etc will take action swift. I know they have to make a plan, etc so wil ge next week (I hope).

Keep everyone near on the same page about this bad actor. Might be something simple like he's off his meds. Just be your normal self, if you let him silence you in any way he wins in a way. He will have to stop sooner or later.

- I'm glad you're taking a proactive stance with this guy. Hopefully, your local police, etc., will take action soon and everything will return to normal. Stay safe, in the meantime. Some good news: I found out a couple of days ago I have a half-sister on my mother's side. It was quite a surprise to get a message from her. She found me through Ancestry.com, also. So now I have both sides of my bio family tree filled out. :D

- that's great news about the water heater. I wish we had something like that down here. :D

- I'm sorry to hear about the skin cancer but I hope the doctor will be able to take care of it quickly. :D
