Hope everyone is having a good survival celebration. I got all 4 of the new strains but have opted out of getting any of the others I don't already have. I looked at them and I wouldn't use them. I really liked this years. I feel like Jacked will get used a lot at morostide time (I just can't call it snackolantern).

I've been going through the member list in the KS forums that gryphongrl has there and kissing everyone as I can, so KSrs not on the list make sure to post there so we can add your kiss link and show you some love.

Also, if anyone needs extra kisses for candy hearts I can help. Or just WL anything you need from the parlour and I can help that way. Have many many many candy hearts from years past to buy stuff with. ❤

- My screen reader reads everything that is text. So, if your signature image has a text description tag then it will read whatever it says. Sometimes, like on Facebook, it will attempt to figure out what is in a photo that people post. Most of the time it just tells me "Person, Person standing, Person wit beard: and so on. What makes me giggle is when it tells me it's just a photo of a "beard". lmao 😂 Thanks for the potion lottery ticket! :D

you're welcome. Unfortunately it doesn't have a text description. Have you always been blind? I only have one eye so I am curious about screen readers and such. If you need descriptions that are less generic than that for an item or photo or whatever, I would happily list every detail I can to describe something for you just list the item name or something and ping me. What does this 😌 say when it reads it? Sorry if I am being annoying.

yeah that was nice a half day. As the company i work for (where the elderly home is from) is in the reds... it helps when we leave and use our over hours. As there was enough staff everywhere it will cost them to much to keep me and i had enough hours and did not mind at all leaving. I live close by and as i had hardly any time off lately it was a bonus for me. And working weekend number 3 this weekend :(

Oh i also still need to flower achevement! Been so busy with biting and geting items from the shops i keep forgetting. Onwards!

not a big clown fan here. I hoping to get the doombloom skin and the lobster face skin this year. Love me some good flowers lol

Went to a parade once and a bunch of clowns stopped in front of me.

- Weekends were always the worst for us. That's when the ER got busy because doctors offices were closed. Sometimes they had me running between two or more different units. I didn't know if I was coming or going it was so nuts. Perhaps you'll get another free day this coming week. :D omg, the flower achievement is just horrid. I got it last year, thankfully. One good thing is that people will send you their flowers for free if you ask in the Survival forum. I do know that there is one forum thread written by Mayla that helps people get flowers. I can't remember the name of the thread though. I'm sure you can find it easily if you just look for Mayla's name. And, Yay! I'm done with all the kissing achievements! The only achievements I have left for Survival are the battle ones. :D I'm sending you all my flowers from here on out. :D

- I am completely, 100% blind. I can't see shapes or shadows. I wasn't always blind. I lost my sight when I was 43 years old. So, I'm lucky in that I know already what most everything looks like. The down side to this is that I'll never know what my youngest son looks like as an adult. I played Subeta before I lost my sight so I have an idea of what most everything looks like and what I don't know I can, for the most part, extrapolate what something looks like from what people say about it. Like the Jacked skin, I knew that I wanted it because of what was said about it in the forums. You can, if you would be so kind, describe the other 2023 skins to me. I'm currently incubating the Ikupox skin but have no real idea what it looks like. I picked it because Emory liked the way it looked. I also heard that there is a virus whose end stage is a big pigeon. Which one is that? Do any of them look like blob kitty? As for screen readers, I have the J.A.W.S. (Job Access With Speech) screen reader. It's a really good screen reader and I have a subscription to it so it stays updated on its own. It does have a learning curve if you've never used a screen reader but, like most things, the more you use it the better you are at using it. It basically reads every text and text description tag on a page to you. It will alert you when something is an image or link. It also has a full complement of settings that let you personalize what you hear. If you're curious about screen readers but don't have the $ to shell out for a trial then Google the NVDA screen reader. It is completely free and will stay that way thanks to gracious donors. It is just as good as my fancy paid screen reader and is a good starting point if you want to learn how to use one. Most visually impaired that I know use both the NVDA and J.A.W.S. screen readers because some find one easier to use for specific tasks than the other and switch back and forth. I haven't achieved that level of competence yet. :D Please, Eric, if you have questions, please ask. I'm very open about my disability and how I manage it. My comments and smail are open. (And you're not bugging me in the least bit. :D )

I don't know where to go to find their names and such but if someone could help me find it, I would love to help ya out. I don't really see colour so I will do my best to describe regardless. Do any look like blob kitty? I don't know I had looked into the J.A.W.S one a while ago. I will at some point need a braille reader, do you have one of those? I don't know what to get because nobody has been around for me to ask. I appreciate your willingness to help me. I will do what I can for you in return.

- You're welcome and thank you. :) The survival forum is probably the best place to look for images of what the 2023 viruses look like. At the top of the forum is a thread that is tracking the 2023 viruses and should have images . Don't worry about color. I can imagine it using what I know of Subeta. :D The JAWS screen reader has a couple of options available when you go to purchase it. You can outright buy a copy of it which will be updated until they move on to a new version. Or you can subscribe and get all updates and new versions from that point on. We chose the subscription so I would always have an up-to-date screen reader. Unfortunately, I can't learn braille. The illness that took my sight left me with just enough neuropathy of the fingertips that I can't recognize the different braille patterns. I do know that both the JAWS and NVDA screen readers are compatible with braille displays so you can use both at the same time. Don't feel bad that you're unaware of what's out there for the visually impaired. I lost my sight 8 years ago and didn't find out about screen readers until 2 years ago. There is so much other stuff out there for the visually impaired. Are you on Facebook? There are a bunch of very helpful FB groups centered on technology for and helping the blind and visually impaired. There are even some on Twitter but that place is such a dumpster fire lately I don't advise looking there. :D

Well i had a drama when i came home from work at 11:30pm... I walked in a puddle of water on the ground and first floor. I looked where it came from and well no clue and no answers. Called the police, fire department and landlord. Long story short no clue where the water is coming from the land lord is here now investigating and called of the police and fire department.

I saw 2 neighbours asked them why they did not do anything as there is so much water and even close by the elevator (electricaty, etc). There answer was well it was not in my way or house so did nothing. WHY??? WTF??? I just don't understand this mentality...

For some reason, evil clowns are easier for me to deal with.

Though it took me a few years to watch Clown (2014). Just watched it a year ago XD

- wtf? There's no clue where the water is coming from? To be the devil's advocate, if the water isn't threatening a life or causing issues on public land in some way then I can understand the fire and police departments bowing out and leaving it to your landlord to figure out as it has occurred on his private property. I hope he's able to figure it out with no inconvenience to you. My Ikupox skin is done so I'm going to get a new strain. I have no idea what I'm going to get. I'll probably just go the random option. I sent you the miserly number of flowers I was able to catch today. Thankfully, you can still finish that achievement after the event is over. :D

- I'm not even going to ask what that movie is about. I understand. The more innocent, sweet, and loveable a clown is the more terrifying it is. x.x Dang it! Why didn't Amazon notify me. this time? yes wtf! Still have no clue where the water is from, i went to bed at around 2am and the landlord was gone but not the water. I decided to do nothing the next morning and when i went to work the groundfloor water was gone, 1st floor not. And i am not cleaning it. My note i left asking why no one took action is till up, no answers or anyone at my door...

I am almost done with my flower skin, think i can get one more. Not sure wich one, maybe a gross one?

It was a good book. It Chapter 1 was good. It Chapter 2 is saved merely by the great casting.

Granted I've only seen the first movie but books are always better. :D

i have and can call but i am not sure i will get answers. It would have been nice to keep me updated but the landlord (big company) did not do it and when i call they have to look it up if there is anything written down.... To much hassle...

There was a cleaining crew yesterday and cleaned the water away and washed the hall way and all the stairs, smelled so nice!

I went for random virus and got bitten but after almost a day nothing happend, cured myself and got one and got infected and it;s showing.

Had a 'school' day at work, about aggression and behavior. Very interesting, got loads of tips on what to do and react.

The original book is good. But it's a LOOONG read.

I believe Patrick Hockstetter, one of the bullies, is so much worse in the book than in any adaptation.
