Happy New Years Eve!

Happy New Year's Eve and a wonderful New Year to all. Feels so great to be able to say it here!

- it is good. It's my favorite "Asian" meal. Last night we had chiken curry. It was nice and spicy. Your treats sound good. Tonight we're going to watch the other James Bond I've never seen, "Quantum of Solace." Here, at midnight, people love to go outside and shoot their guns in the air. No fireworks, though. It's still a lot of noise. I don't blame Meez for not liking it. I'm not a fan of loud noises, either. I hope you have a wonderful evening. :D

- omg, what happened? Everything was hacked? Your computer and your phone? That's horrible! I'm so glad you were able to get it sorted. :D

And it all started in 2020 when I bought a new wireless system - the culprit was in the Brother Printer sent from China. They spent about a year learning my system then the fun began, but I finally ran them to ground and told Microsoft then same day my PC guy came and collected my PC. And because it's WIFI he gained access to all my devices and even tried to steal streaming apps then sent a nasty virus to my SmartTV but the service on it took care of it. Thank God.

oh how horrible! Glad everything is ok now :)

well Meez has been hiding under the bed most of the day. I went to bed around 0:30am and he was still hiding but there where a lot of fireworks still. I woke up somewhere halfway and he was on the bed sleeping against my legs. He is doing much better now as there are no more fireworks.

I was never a bond movie lover, but been watching the since Daniel Graig was bond, he was a good bond. Sky Fall is my favorite. I am wondering who will be the next bond.

There was a tv show last night about movie music and a orchestra played movie music. It was so good! Good show.

You and me both. For the most part everything is fine, couple of little things I still need my PC tech to take care of. So much to catch up on.

- That sounds absolutely horrifying. I'm glad you were able to get it all fixed although I bet it was a huge headache. Here's hoping it doesn't happen again. :D

- poor meez. I don't blame him. At midnight our neighbors went outside and fired their guns in the air for about 5 minutes. Then they just stopped. I expected it to go on for quite a bit longer and include fireworks, as it has the past fewe years. It didn't. It just stopped. I was happy about that but curious about why. Hubby is going to ask our neighbor next time he sees him. I'm hoping it is a mundane reason, like not enough ammo, and not like he's avoiding the police. XD The musical show sounds interesting. I don't have tv, though, so can't watch it unless it shows up on a streaming service. I'll keep an eye out for it. Daniel Craig is the 2nd best Bond. 1st is Sean Connery. I grew up with Bond as my Dad and step-dad both loved him. Dr. No is my favorite Bond movie. I've never actually "seen" Skyfall. We did watch it the other night but it had no audio commentary. So, I had to rely on the hubby and son to tell me what was happening. Even though they did, and did a passable job, because I never actually saw it it was difficult for me to put the action together with the plot. I hope they decide to put audio commentary on any new Bond movies they make. Has Craig stepped down from the role? I didn't know that. :D

It was a horror - the disquieting aspect of knowing someone is in your stuff and trying to take it all away was how I felt everyday until I ran him to ground. My PC guys helped in the past a couple of times but I was the none nurd and I figured out how he came and went. Not adding any new equipment for that to ever happen again.

I've been able to identify birds somewhat accurately by their singing. The Blue Jays down here are adorable but have one of the most annoying songs XD

Well it's better to destroy stuff in a game than in real life.

Oh i wish you could 'see' Sky Fall. And yes Daniel Graig stepped down as Bond, No Time To Die was his last movie as Bond. Good one but sad :(

The timing was awful as I only just managed to put things under the trees but hadn't gotten to the private gift - but am working on it now. Actually it's two guys and they are both great. There are a couple of things I still need to do but thankfully they are minor.

- I still don't know what happened. Usually nothing would have stopped them, not even the sheriff rolling up. They weren't doing anything illegal. So, who knows. It'll remain a mystery for now. lol I didn't realize there was another Bond movie beyond the ones I just watched. I'm so out of touch. I'm going to see if it's on Prime. :D Daniel Craig should have been locked into the roll for life. ;) :D

- I have a hard time distinguishing individual birds butt the overal birdsong is pleasant. lol I agree, I am very glad they confined their destruction to a video game. :D

Found the deep place in my pc that let him come and go as he pleased, when I did I immediately notified Microsoft and they notified Google and both reset my stuff which my tech guys helped me with after. Don't know if anyone was caught, seemed like a group to me. Hope I made it easier to catch them.

i wish i had those kind of guys don't know what i will do when my laptop or phone are hacked, etc.

the weirdness continuous with your neighbours. -grabs popcorn- lol yes he should be locked up and only do Bond movies. No one knows yet who will be the next bond or movie.

Back to work for me tomorrow after 4 days off. I had an relaxing december and start of january i was free loads from work. I love vacay days and just days off that fell just in the right time lol

- Hopefully Microsoft and Google are able to find who it was and press charges. :)

- snort Apparently, I hit on the reason without realizing it. Our neighbor said he ran out of ammo. He thought he had enough (who knows how much that would be) but it wasn't there when he went to load up. 😆 Now I'm wondering how long it will be before the ammo magically reappears. I'm thinking his mom hid it. 😂 Days off that fall in line with other days off creating a mini-vacation are always a good thing. It seems like your bosses are happy you're back and are trying to keep you happy. That's awesome! :) I looked online and :O there's talk of a female Bond. XD No. Just no. :D

They have a company and were well recommended, very glad I choose them. Am I'm glad that I have a credit card, is fairly expensive for all the work they had to do. But so well worth it, desktop is solid state now.

That they got caught is my major hope!

I think they are happy with me to as most of the time i change shifts, say yes to shifts so i am an easy worker. Speaking of that i have a talk on friday with the boss, i will hear if i can go back to my old team. -crosses fingers-

- That's where the story ends. His mom hasn't admitted to hiding it but there wasn't anyone else it could have been. She's feisty and is always baking us cookies. New drama lama - Did I tell you about my bio dad's Halloween melt down? He called me a capitalist, consumerist zombie that marched in lockstep with the 4th estate (big media). He also told me not to contact him again until I realizedthat the universe didn't revolve around me. So, I hadn't talked to him from Halloween until Christmas. He sent me a Christmas email. Thinking he wanted to resume talking (and was over his little fit) I emailed him back. I got no response. Until New Years Day. He sent me an eCard. I was polite and sent him an email thanking him for the card. He is now responding and wants to talk like the melt down never happened. Hubby says to be polite until he apologizes. I don't think he will. I'm not even sure he remembers it. So, I'm not sure how to respond to him. Nice as if nothing happened? or confront him and ask for an apology? Ugh. Good luck with the meeting with your boss. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get your old team back. :DI'm with you, a female Bond would ruin it. :D
