- Update on my foot. The doc conferred with the radiologist and they both agree that the MRI results are unusual. Apparently unusual enough to refer me to a foot/ankle specialist at the University of Virginia. That's 3+ hours away and I have no transportation. So, the doc is going to send the MRI to the specialist for his opinion. Whether or not I'll have to make the trek will be determined by what he says. Ugh. It's just one doc after another. I really wish I hadn't sprained my ankle. :(

- Well, it got below freezing but the ground was still above freezing so no ice. The huge winter storm everyone else got turned into a day of rain for us. I'm not complaining, though. That storm dumped 5ft of snow in places in the mountains. We got off lucky. Sorry the Christmas market didn't work out. Hopefully the ones to come will. How have your Advent calendars turned out so far? :D

- Welcome! I don't know what any of the cat ornaments are called but you can find the ornaments in the that you can get from Melody once you've claimed your gift for the day. Just refresh the page where you got the daily gift and a link will pop up that gives you the option to donate 2000sp for an old box of ornaments. Once in your inventory, click on it and then click on "Open box." It will open and you'll recieve a randomly generated bunch of ornaments. You can then put them in your ornament inventory or sell them. :D

Hope it all gets sorted out. Sounds like you did more than sprain your ankle, tho. But a 'sprain' is misleading. My doctor said that sometimes its worse than an actual break. I stepped in a hole that my dog dug while I was mowing and ripped all three of the major ligaments or tendons (I always forget which ones) from my foot to my ankle. It was months getting over that. The only relief I had was wearing a fracture boot. It hurt getting my foot in and out of it, but once in there it was supported and felt fine. Maybe that's what you need?

Don't know how i became a yellow icon did not get an alert

- At first they thought it was just a sprain. Then they thought I'd torn the right posterior tibialis tendon. Now they don't know what is wrong. From what I understand of the MRI results the tendon isn't torn but there is something wrong with it. What? I have no clue and the doc hasn't dumbed it down for me yet. sigh I have one of those boots. I've been wearing it since July. It's doing nothing except pulling my knee out of whack. The darned thing is heavy and it's awkward to navigate with it when I can't see and can't feel the floor through the bottom of the thing. Right now I'm just hoping the foot doesn't mutate into a tentacle or worse. 😂

- Oh, holiday cookies! My favorite part of the holidays is baking. Although I can't bake anymore I can decorate the cookies with icing. That's always a lot of fun. :D

- Someone may have noticed your blue icon and given you a buddy gold account. It may tell you who if you look at your dashboard (under the personal tab.) How do you like Subeta so far? :D

yep, someone gave you a gold buddy account thing. People who pay for membership get one a month. Some of us have large stockpiles of them to give out.

You won't see who gave it to you on that dashboard. It will be an event on your event tab though. And it will tell you who gave it to you there. Easy to miss if you're not looking for it sometimes, especially if you have many other events.

Wow that is cold! We had very cold days here until yesterday way below freezing point, cold winds, etc. Today we got rain and around 8degrees celcius... So no snow for christmas.

I got some great stuff from my advents calenders for my planner/journal stuff (even a new journal) and nice shower stuff from rituals.

Hi all!! Just got home from the movies, saw the new avatar movie... WOW!!!

- That's the thing about Subeta, if someone sees that you need something they'll give it to you; sometimes without you even asking. It's commendable that you want to do everything yourself. Just don't be afraid to ask for help if you run into a problem. I think the best thing about Subeta is it's community. :D

- lol! Share the popcorn! Nothing from the doc yet. Probably not for a few more days, I'm thinking. As for the weather, it's just rainy here right now. No ice yet but it's coming. It was -52 F in North Dakota last night and the cold front is coming our way. I don't think we'll have a white Christmas but I'm betting it'll be frigid and icy. A new journal sounds exciting. All that potential in the clean pages. What kind of bath stuff? I love the stuff that smells like violets. :D

Yeah, it's always lovely when they send you to a place hours away. Have had to get my dad to drive me to a few appointments because of that.

Migraine today and as long as I remember to do my exercises, the pain doesn't get too bad.

Though until I get something into my routine I tend to forget so...O.O'

Saw the new Avatar movie yesterday. Is beautiful to look at but it should have been shorter.

Especially the final battle that ended up feeling contrived as it went on for too long without a good explanation why.

Braved Imax 3D (I wear glasses so tend to stay away from 3D in theaters) as I knew I wanted to see the best possible quality.

- I hope the migraine goes away soon. :) I think docs refer us to certain people because they get a commission or some kind of pay-out for the number of patients they refer. It's ridiculous.

Ravenhart and - I heard that the beginning and ending of the new avatar movie was ... how to put this... not synced up right and the animation looked hinky. I was told the middle of the film was o, this just happened at the beginning and end. Did either of you notice anything? :D

ANd i did not notice any weird stuff in the movie it was sync right for me. We did went to the 3d version with the moving chairs. When i was in bed last night i still had the feeling i was in the chair lol

I'm on SSI so when I have to go hours out of my way it's due to my poor insurance.

I did notice a few parts looking odd but didn't think anything of it. I read that for certain scenes of Avatar 2 James Cameron decided to use a higher frame rate. He wanted to use that frame rate for the entire movie but knew most movie goers wouldn't have a good time if that was done.

- I guess the best thing about the body wash and soap is that it gets you clean. ;) I don't know if my friend went to the 3D version but I do know it was at a theater with regular seats. I don't think I've been to a regular theater with seats that moved outside Disney World. That must have been fun. :D

- It really stinks that you have to go so far. Wasn't Obamacare supposed to make it easier for medicare and medicaid users to get help? I just don't understand the convoluted thinking of most health care providers these days. XD I'm glad you didn't see anything wrong with the movie. It may be that she caught the transitions to and from the higher frame rates. :D
