^_^ My first and only car for the last ..I don't even know, 10-15 years? is a 1996 Lincoln Towncar. I was able to buy her from my grandpa for cheap.
I don't remember exactly how it went down, but it was something like she was dying more frequently on me, hard to come on. I was cranking the engine and praying and cajoling her and saying stuff like 'come on you big beautiful girl <3' and she came on as soon as I said that. Coincidence? Likely. But her name has been Big Beauty ever since. She's an old gal that gets as much love as I can afford (which sadly is not as much lately..</3), and she's done good over the years. :3 <3

I named my first car 'Purple Majesty' and it was like, a '90s Pontiac Grand AM that saved my life. I always try to give my cars ship sounding names though my favorite car I just called 'The Whale Car'. It did not look like a whale.

I am pleased to see this board still going. It was nice to read about some of your cars and experiences, how long you've had them, how they got their names, etc. Super fun, ya'll. :D Now we wait for more...

You know I was just thinking about this. I don't have a name for my car or any of my past cars. Im really terrible at them so I don't bother but I am jealous of people who can name their cars :C

my Getz is named Invincible (like the warcraft horse). She is very much not invincible, but its the thought that counts, I think

My current car is named Frankie.

My mom bought her brand new in 2006 in Arizona. She has a sandblasted hood and a lot of dings but she's still running. I thought MULTIPLE times she was done for so her name is Frankie now because of how many times she's been reanimated lol

I have had Lucas, Mama Odie, Silvia and Minerva.

My last car was Lucy (Black Lexus LX570),, every car I've had has been Lucy, honestly and my wife just had to retire her truck, her name was Ruby. (Chevy Silverado, ruby red, obviously)

My first truck's name was "Boyfriend". My current little car is named "Bloo"

My significant other named our last vehicle the going merry lol.

I've only ever owned one car of my own. It's a 2019 Ford Ecosport in the color Lightning Blue. I named it Fortuna, and I'm not sure why that name came into my head.

I love that this thread/board is still going. I am enjoying the names and for some the stories that go with the name. Thank you all for your time and participation. :)

I've had 3 cars so far:

1. A light blue hyundai xg350 that was rotted out underneath. Looked like and old lady car so her name was Mildred; Milly for short.
2. A black chevy impala named Fabio. He was fantastic but totalled in an accident and sent to the scrap yard. RIP Fabio.
3. My current vehicle is a scuffed up chevy malibu named Morticia. Shes charcoal sparkly grey and sassy as heck. Good bones but I beat the crap out of her so shes pretty ugly.

I have a maroon Camaro, and I named her Scarlet.

So, I am sad to say that I am not blessed/lucky when it comes to cars... Hermione (my car that I just bought when I started this thread) can no longer be repaired ... they do not make parts for her anymore. :( At least... the Mazda specific parts that I apparently need. So... I will be riding the bus for a while. Booo....
I bought an electric scooter to do basic errands nearby and get to and from bus stops... his name is Scootie Pippen!!! lol...

I don't name my car, because I have no affinity to it after it's corked out on me too many times. So, I suppose, sometimes I call it Lemon.
