username, please!

I LOVE being able to see tons of items at once. It'll cut down on the refreshing when there has been a big DC shop. :D

I really like the changes, and I I think I actually prefer no usernames displayed.

as some of us are aware about that other pet site, wrong priorities and unecessary fixes wreck the development of the site and it's not fun for anyone. not the staff, who is all over the place bumping heads, not the players, who are left waiting. please if you have more important fish to fry, do fry them instead of worrying about usernames in the DC. IF the hover-to-see is an easy fix, then alright, great. if not, i'd prefer other matters.

No names imo. I like anonymous gifting a lot in general, and clears up space and coding and load times. Sounds like a win win from my perspective.

I like it with the names also, but will get used to this change if it's for the better.

I dunno, I think we can live without the names. Donation is often thankless but appreciated nonetheless.

I don't particularly care either way about seeing usernames or not but if it's to reserve resources, then I vote for the new layout without them.

I do prefer to see usernames but if it is going to take that much work just to do it I would rather see that time and energy being spent on where it's needed rather then where it's not. This new change has sped up the DC considerably and I think it is awesome. I do wonder though if maybe down the road there could be a option implemented that gets added to the user preferences page so that if we want to show our username we check the box to do so but if we don't we just keep it unchecked. I do see why some users prefer to remain anonymous especially when they decide to leave the site.

I was wondering what happened to like the 30k items/hearts that were in the dumpster like 2 days ago o0o. Count me in as someone who prefers usernames on items in the DC makes it feel more personal, maybe people who donate can have an option to do it anonymously or not?

I'm for no names being included. Honestly, the only time I check to see what the username is, is when something looks like it may have been accidentally donated (like a single csc card [sub]or something of that nature[/sub] in a sea of buckets. ha.).

On the other side, personally, when I mass donate things, I don't care if people know I did it or not, I'm just trying to make someone's day better (or more easier, or help with an event, or whatever). It seems like that's something that one could post in the forums too? :d

TL:DR; I much prefer the site working smoothly & time being spent on fixing things that are causing issues, but I respect that other people really want those names displayed because they're getting value out of it.

also there is a massive annoying error of just seeing the saaaaame 3 type of items... humming crytals, pirate hearts and I love you hearts... nothing else, like hundreds of those same items

but I do like the previously stated idea of a hover option. Would it be a decent compromise to have the option to stay anon (which wouldnt include a hover) or use the username (which would then give the hover)? I'm not a coder (code hurts my brain lol), so I'm not sure if that's too much work for something like that.

Yes, I found that in the Donation Center YEARS AGO, but never got to thank the person that donated it... :(

I think the donation center looks very nice now and I am chill with it not having usernames. It loads really quickly which is incredible -- great job!
