His bus didn't come today either. Mom had originally told me that he would go to the other school. Sister stayed for the picnic tho and decided to take him home instead. Dunno if we ever told the other school oops. We have 6 kids here. All sweet ones, tho 2 of the boys CAN get a little wild.

We only have to go Monday and Tuesday next week (well the kids - I have to work all week) Guess I"ll be dancing for Masq at work during 3 of those days because I'll have literally not much else to do other than move things into the hallway which I can pretty much accomplish in 1 day IF the lead teacher just LETS me do it instead of fluttering all over the place not knowing what to put where or what she should pack up vs keep in the room. DUDE. JUST MOVE IT ALLLLLLLLLL Sort it on your own time. She really needs to remove a bunch of crap because a LOT of it is too advanced for PreK (its K or 1st grade style stuff AND stuff we are technically NOT supposed to use for PreK). And while we MAY have a kid or two it could be used for, or SOME might be able to be used near the end of SOME years, most of the time its just IN THE WAY Not to mention all the crappy PREK stuff that was in the room to begin with that we haven't touched in 3 years.....yea I mean I agree that stuff needs to be sorted and gotten rid of some of it, but again, end of year days is NOT THE TIME to do that.

We do have 1 day we have to have training (professional learning) :P but the session is virtual for 2hrs on Thurs. Oh and Wed I'll have to have half a day off in the morning to take Nathan to the DR anyway hahaha :P [Edit] Good morning I was so tired I laid down at 8 on the couch and stayed there til 9. Then went to bed at 945. Woke at 430 but went back to sleep. Got out of bed at 610 and got a shower and now ready to go to work.

Oof, what a mess Kat! And that sounds annoying. Though maybe at the end of the year AND the beginning of the year is a good part. I find a good hoe-ing out of things before I put them away is good, and then another good hoe-ing out of things before I put them back out again.

Today is food pantry day, and we're supposed to get some bad storms later. Hopefully they're not bad!

TGIF! The last few days I've felt extremely tired. Haven't done quests or anything all week until today, now that I'm feeling a bit better. Went to sleep to storms last night and woke back up to them. New seeds definitely got drenched. Supposed to be close to 90 and really humid today and tomorrow w/ more storms coming in.

What's up w/ the communication at that school! Damn.

I've got lilacs on either side of my house and they were in full bloom this year. Smell SO good. I can't wait until the easter lilies bloom b/c that smell is heavenly, too. I'm going to have so many that I'll have to space them out again. Speaking of spacing, I forgot how big the squash plants get so I'll have to move them around when they start sprouting up.

I guess it would be fine if she actually got rid of stuff? To me it seems that 90% of what she looks thru she just puts back on the shelf and there it stays another year not being used. I don't mean to say throw stuff away. Feel free to box it up or take it home. But don't yank it off the shelf look at it cluttering up the room and then put it back.

My daughter will be here this weekend too but I don't know if I will only see her Sunday for the youth group officer Installation. She may stay at boyfriends parents house especially if he comes up too. I don't know if he is or not

I've succeeded in making 2 whole Masq HA's! WooHoo!! Seriously... least favorite of the year just b/c the wearables aren't really to my liking AND people forget to accept dances all the time.

AC is on for the first time and will probably only be on until Sunday morning when it's going to cool off again. I really try to make it to the end of May before I start racking up my energy bill again. Also helps that my daughter isn't here and using her window unit upstairs b/c the vent system sucks when it comes to pushing air upstairs (or heat). I turned it on about 45min ago so it would have her room cool by the time the hottest time of the day is here.

Been modding my weapons after doing BQ. Most of the time I can't even get past 15. Gonna try a different weapon set for my T6 pet to see if I do better, but I saw that s/one had mentioned that mods aren't working anymore and haven't been for awhile. I have no basis for that so even if they aren't, I still want to mod them.

I've never been to an actual wine tasting, unfortunately, but the general thing is to spit it out, lol.

I HAVE been to 2 local vineyards wine festivals, once in Indiana and maybe 3 times in Ohio... way before I was interested in wine. MUCH younger me and our family had a family reunion (smallest gathering I've seen compared to what I see on tv) at the OH one, then we went as a much smaller group, then I went w/ another group and another few. Basically the "festival" part says it all b/c you can drink all you want and spend the night - in your car or whatever you bring. They have a field for everyone to park and it didn't cost to stay, which they encouraged, naturally. The one I went to in IN was w/ my dad and after trying some of their wine, I went to beer. They also had a field for everyone to park or stay and I was living w/ my mom at the time in IN after their divorce but he went to take me back home and I ALMOST made it.... then got sick in his Firebird. 😂 Had to clean it out myself, too.

Now that I'm into wine, I need to go and try local flavors..... as it should be. :P

I've tried a few wines from the grocery store. Now I didn't expect them to be the best. But I just didn't like it.

Greetings, all. Currently house-sitting for a former professor of mine. Got here yesterday. Woke up early to a big pee puddle on the living room floor. sigh This is going to be a long two weeks.

The plan was to treat this like a one-person writers retreat, where I try to read and write nonstop. Currently reading Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik, with American Gods from Neil Gaiman on deck and The Lies of Locke Lamora in transit to the local library. Sure I'm being overly optimistic, but the semester is over and I haven't secured summer employment, so... I've got some time on my hands.

I've got a bunch of new items in my wardrobe I have to sort through. Have to make a new avatar for the new holiday, but I think I'm somewhat low on period clothes.

Hi Danny! It doesn't have to be period clothes if you don't want it have it! It is fun to try and dress up, to me anyway. I only have 3 outfits I'll switch between for dancing. I have read something by Naomi Novik but I don't remember what ... I just recall that name.

Probably Uprooted? Where the village girl is taken by the Dragon to learn magic and helpa him fight against the corruption of the Wood? It's the only other standalone novel of hers that I'm aware of. I just finished rereading that one.

I let this dog out right before I went to bed at 11 and was up at 7:30am to let her out again, which was apparently too late. Going to have to stop dallying on my phone before I go to sleep so I can get up earlier, I guess.

Also, regarding period clothing, the steamworks shop is FULL of them, and if you need trinkets for it PLEASE let me know. I was gifted a WHOLE BUNCH last year (since my friends know my crazy a** needs 18 of each book) LOL and I still have a ton left. - AFTER getting EVERYTHING I wanted/needed. You could easily get some period clothing from steamworks.

Oh yeah, I've got lots of steamworks trinkets I can offer, too!

But I just decided to go with fancy dance this year... even though my mask is hidden behind my background :P

One of my outfits (which I just realized is actually 2 because it's 2 of the same dress-different colors- that I swap between lol) are just dress up pretty. Not period. The pants outfit is mostly from steamworks but I also don't really consider it period....
