Ah ohhh huggies. Thank you. <3 (lol, the diaper... just thought of my wording.) I love the hugs.. even virtual these days b/c there's still only a handful of people that are let in to my world, and I know it's the same for many others like us. We share a lot of superficial things. I know there's a couple of lurkers on the board, a couple that have come forth (Caz and Luce) and between the 4 of you, I have felt very welcome, maybe a bit too open but mostly just warm vibes. I think s/times I've been too comfortable but to be honest, as I've stated before, I don't have much for real life friends.............. you know, those ones you used to have where you could share nearly everything with! (where did they go)

Anywho...

Almost all of my RL friends have .... slowly.... faded away. I think I still have one whom I have contact with, and thats mostly thru the youth group anyway. Our girls are going to "majority" together this summer out of the youth group. Her younger one is still involved.

Speaking of.. I just ordered 1hr photos for tomorrow for youth group projects and I ordered 445 photos :o

Oh and I do have one in person friend I am only in contact with online hahaha. We have been friends since 6th grade, and call each other our sisters. But we haven't seen each other in person since her son was born 8yrs ago....she lives in Massachusetts. (military families growing up)

OMG My brain is FRIED. I just tried to write styrofoam and wrote styroph - (scratch out) - styrofrom - (scratch out) - SMALL plates.

I would if I could.😀

Just been clothes shopping (which I hate) as I needed new summer clothes as I constantly live in hoodies and even though it’s getting warmer I can’t live in a hoodie in summer.

And last summer we didn’t have one really. It was quite mild so I lived in a thinner hoodie.

Ended up on spending £102 on 6 tops. Will probably need more when summer actually hits us.

Yeah Luce, I had to go out and buy a pair of shorts the other day. I really only have one (maybe two?) pairs of cropped yoga pants :P I gave Elly everything else last year. And I REALLY need a bra, but I literally tried 8 on the other day and didn't get anywhere close, and I DO know my measurements, and it's not like we can go anywhere fancy because there IS no where fancy, and, just. ARGH. They're just awful, and they're torture devices, and it's not like I can buy an $80 bra on-line without trying it on, and most places are like "just return in store!" if I could do THAT, then I wouldnt be buying ONLINE.

And even sports bras, like, that's what I'm wearing now, and it's fine, it's comfortable (for the most part) but like.. eesh. I found one that FIT just fine the other day, but I couldn't take it off to save my life I thought I was going to have to call the customer service person for real.

Bras are the worst. I have 6 all the same kind/style just slightly different colors. And I had to buy them all within a few weeks of each other because you know, when you DO find something that works, it stops being made!! They are about worn out and almost to small (even tho I hang them to dry, so they have lasted longer). I dislike the thought of hunting for more I like. I've seen some I like online but the prices!! And the fact of I can't try it on. Sooo yea. I get ya.

I have shorts I don't wear. Leggings and pants are year round for me. I only wear the shorts under dresses or if I am going to be outside a lot and it's very hot and I'm not in public...because I hate shaving so yeaaaaa....hairy me covers my legs with pants lol

HAHAHAHA 😂 The hairy legs comment was pure joy. That's me in the winter. I can't stand how they feel with jeans, though.

Bras...I'm so sick of getting bras that feel like shit. Every brand seems to have their own version of measurements that are never accurate.

I don't like the way hoodies feel around my neck so I have only a few.

Went from watching book binding to paper making. :P

I did gasp shave up to my knees this morning. Guess talking about it made me think about it. They needed it. And I'll have to do it again before June 16th because I'll have to wear dresses for the state-wide youth group meetings.

So I went to Jackson today to do projects with the youth group - my 4 pledge girls came and one of the older girls. I managed to get my girls at least halfway if not almost complete on their "mascot" competition projects. We worked on some scrapbook pages - I let them do some pages that were activities THEY were involved in - I did two pages to show them how....they did pretty good - tho TWO pages will - um - need a little tweaking hahah. Redoing basically - the one is turned the wrong direction to fit in the book right, and the other the girl cut off some of the page she glued the pictures to - so that'll have to be fixed. hahah. 7 & 8 yr olds what do you expect. They had a blast tho I think. Oh and the other two little girls selected their dresses for Southern Belle competition. The big girl selected a hoop skirt - she is MAKING her own dress :o I'm impressed and can't wait to see it. My daughter needs to pick out a hoop skirt too, hopefully she'll have time next Sunday when she comes for the Installation of Officers. (she is one of our local officers).

That sounds like some fun stuff your group is getting into. I love how young kids are interested in creative activities when given the chance.

Sounds like you can wear capris now! giggles

I could. But I don't own any :P

The group does a bank, banner and scrapbook every year. The girls also have the chance to do an individual mascot, and southern belle, and a special craft (this years is poodle skirts). If you hold a certain position in the group, you can also do a personal position scrapbook, a basket, a representative costume and a travelling state. (the "pages" (assistant to the officers) do baskets, the representatives do costumes and states - to represent the state they were assigned to communicate with another girl from). And the group can do a skit if they want to for the "talent" show. They began limiting it to group only when TONS of girls wanted to sing a song alone....it got to be a VERY long talent show and went wayyy to late at night. This year the group can also do a "classic car" to dress up our wagon (many of us use cloth wagons to drag around stuff instead of carrying it lol).

I understand the banner and scrapbook, but I have absolutely no use for the bank other than just something the group can make together.

Yes, a cloth wagon. Not a hard plastic sided kids one. Nope. A cloth one with big wheels and side pockets lol. (If you go to Walmart dot com you'll see them listed under folding wagons)

Please someone tell me why I am wide awake (yet still tired and sleepy) at 430am? Please let me go back to sleeeeep!

Haven't looked it up yet but i think I know what you're referring to. Been trying to work around the house, but not too much where I'd want to turn on the air.

Chiclet (name I didn't give her), Bria just left after sleeping to about 4:30 or so. She'll be back again this weekend b/c she has a hair appt with s/one she doesn't even like but doesn't know how to find another person/place. We also talked about our Dr and she agrees about not liking her.

Listening to an audible while I do little things around the house. After signing up for the subscription, I realize it sucks but at least I'll get through one of the latest Dan Brown books. (Inferno)

I tried audible books. I only did a few. I just like holding and reading it myself. I used to clean around the house and tend the baby at the time.

My first audiobook, and series as it so happened, was The Dark Tower, by Stephen King. The narrator got cancer and passed on but my love for the series, the author and the narrator was... Well it kept my head above waters when I first got my own place after my divorce. I burned it onto cds that I would listen to driving to and from work and fall asleep listening to it on my computer that I had a speaker setup for. (This is back when I worked nights) It's not my goto, as I'm particular with narrators, but I listen to short stories every night (those creepypastas I once mentioned).

Dishes done. Thinking about what I want to make for food. Thank gawd the chickens are finally giving me some damn eggs b/c everything costs so much.

I got a good bargain on pork today. I spent less than $40 and got 5 meals out of the pork pack (2 roasts, and 3 sets of porkchops), a ham steak, and some beef too. I did good. Everything DOES cost more. Its stupid. Food should not cost so much. I get what is on sale that we like mostly - I just get so tired of the same dishes. I really need to try and branch out into new meals. But I don't know if Nathan will be willing to (but considering he tried octopus balls at the Japanese Hibachi grill he wanted to go to....maybe he'll be ok with different types of meals...) We are real meat/veg/bread people. Like a normal meal will consist of pork chops (or steak or pot roast or any other meat), corn on the cob or canned veg like can corn or can peas/green beans, and/or a baked/grilled potato, and then biscuits or crescent rolls. Sometimes instead of potato we'll have rice or macaroni. I have a friend who does stuff like, stuffed shells. Or pasta dishes. I want to look more into that. Maybe things like enchiladas or something. I do some pasta stuff - obvs we do sketti, but also I like to do penne pasta and mix grated parmesan into it - makes it kind of like mac&cheese but different. I so basic, its just parmesan noodles lol - I do that for a simple lunch. Tonight we had hamsteak, potatoes, corn/cob, biscuits. :) See. Basic lol

I did dishes after dinner, and swept the kitchen and wiped the counter. Forgot to wipe the table. MEH. It can wait til tomorrow. Gonna take my medicine and go to bed. Maybe NOT wake up at 4am. I was sooo tired today I went and laid on the bed for an hour. I didn't really sleep, but I rested.

[Edit] Well I suppose being woke up doesn't count? I went back to sleep. Didn't wake again until 530ish. Got up shortly after to get a shower. Gonna make muffins for breakfast.

I think it's a lot easier to eat cheap in the winter, because then it's soup, casserole, pasta weather. You can throw just about anything into those, and we use only like, a chicken breast for all five of us.

In the summer, it's too. damned. hot. for any of that. And none of us really like anything made in the crockpot. So we eat a lot more meat, because it's like.. the main thing. Meat and a salad, mos tnights. Or ust.. meat and corn on the cob or veggies or something. And most of it is just tossed on the grill or the smoker.

But then again.. it's also too hot and humid to eat in the summer, so at least there's that? Maybe it ends up evening out. Hmmm.

Still, we buy our stuff in bulk. Alex can trim, cut, sort etc, and then we package everything in packs of 6 (and 1 or 2, for some things. Sometimes you still only need one or two chicken breasts). Always at least 6 though, because he packs his lunch every day, and often there's an extra person. That's ALSO harder in the summer, though. Casseroles, pasta, soups. They all stretch so easily!

GUYS we had so much fun in Corning Saturday. But then my MiL took the girls home and Alex and I stayed over, and we went back (we had to pick up the glass pieces.. the hotel was only $100, and it was $65 to ship the five pieces :P). It was kind of nice to not herd cats (especially because B and E came with us on Saturday, and it was.. quite difficult!).

Still, we watched 10? shows in the hot shops over the two days. We watched five on Saturday, then Alex and I watched five of them yesterday morning before we left.

AND I grabbed at the very least, a new sports bra, when we stopped for milk on the way home :P

OH. ALSO. Shaving is just another weird female standard of beauty, but it's not necessary, just like makeup. I DO shave, because uh. IDK I just prefer it because I like the way it feels better, but you can wear dresses, whatever, without shaving. It's for YOU, not for anyone else!

Yeaaa but to me it is weird to have hairy legs showing. So if i wear dresses or shorts i shave. Majority of time I just wear comfy pants/leggi gs or stay inside w/y hairy legs lol

What is Corning? Sounds like you all had a lot of fun!! What kind of shows? I always want to watch the shows at the renfaire but I get distracted walking around to the shops and miss half the shows.

Corning is a town in NY. We specifically went for CMOG, the Corning Museum of Glass. They do hot glass shows, where they make something in like, 15-20 minutes. They're always incredible to watch!

Though part of everyone's favorite is to leave, walk over this pretty bridge over the river, and into the cobblestone town to grab some Atlas Pizza. It's sooooooo good.
