I can't help feeling that I'm going round in circles trying to find budgie breeders - I emailed the vets as I thought they might know of breeders, given that they'd be likely to see them with various different birds over time. Last time I contacted them, they listed themselves as the exotic vets for the area.... now, apparently they don't classify themselves as exotic vets :K They did mention the name of a different vet group that is an exotic specialist (even hamsters are classed as exotic apparently o.O), so I've copied and pasted my question and sent it to the other vets in the hope they might be able to help. I can't help but feel they won't be any use, but I'm getting to the point where I'm willing to email anywhere in case they might know of someone!!

same here! Mum keeps telling me to email places that sold budgies before we got Sid (even though they had already stopped selling them when I was looking to get Sid).... neither seem to want to actually admit that the shop the next town over is actually a good choice!

Had a nice shopping trip with my sis yesterday. She has a black belt in shopping as I always say, so she had me try on like a 100 things. lol Even found a burgundy dress that I love and felt great in. :D Muahaha. xD at last I have plenty to keep me occupied going forward to keep my mind off things a bit.

At least here the numbers are very recent, as they are fast at processing the tests. :) Did not have to wait too long to get my result. Fingers crossed that the winter will go well where we both live. ;)

it'd make more sense if it was a town Dad didn't know, but it's just the northern part of the town he was born in (and lived there for 20-odd years) - he's even gone on the bus to the shopping mall just down the road from the pet store, so it's not like he doesn't know the area!

As long as Gran's gets signed off from the department and doesn't need any more appointments (if it's not healed, then they'll want to do more invasive treatment to resolve it), then I'm hoping I can convince Mum at least.... convincing Dad might take a lot longer

I wonder if the person who does the CW face wipe items might have one that would work to cover the eyes but not the mouth (although I think theirs cover all the facial features)

I think it's also near where I did a college course - Dad was directing me through all the backstreets on the weekend before the course started as I'd never been there before and wasn't too sure how to get there. I realised I'd never manage to remember all the turns and side roads, so we came back on the motorway (which Dad dislikes driving on), and I did the motorway both directions each day I had to go for the course :P

I've pointed it out to Mum, but not yet tried saying to him yet.... sometimes he's more receptive than others (most of the time he doesn't seem to be listening, especially if it relates to my health problems - and they're the main reason why I need another pet!)

Maybe the hair could cover it, or add in some freckles or something to make the black look like it's meant to be there?
