Ok, you made a good point about doing those quests all the way through. :P
Yes, it does! I got so irritated w/ trying to search for an item in all the different years so I finally gave it a try and now I can find it right away.
Do you zap any pets? I have one that I do a lot of zapping on, but only to get the minion stuff like the slime. That's one thing I do consistently.

I feel like I've been chatty today, lol.
Gonna be picked up at 11 to go run some errands on my lunch break by my sis in law. Pretty quiet work day... which is probably why I've been so chatty. :P Hopefully it ends quietly and I can just sit back and enjoy the start of my weekend.
My youngest is taking me into my office this weekend to print out some stuff and clear out my cube. They want everyone to get everything out so they can do a thorough cleaning and starting next month, they are having people come back in "test groups". I think they're testing productivity levels, which have actually risen since we've been working from home. :D (well duh)

Well you have been. And I appreciate it lol sometimes I feel lonely around here. I know people have work and all....but you'd think they could take a minute to say hi?!?! Yes I'm sure for some jobs working at home increased productivity!! I think for others it may not have. Hopefully they will work something out that allows those doing better at home to continue to work from home!! In all jobs!
HI HI! 😂 Honestly, s/times I just don't know what to say or how to join the chatter.
Is the 77 in your UN for your year of birth?
My neighbors are teachers, and I know several others, and doing classes online was terrible for not only them but for the students, as well. I've got one of those dull office jobs that really doesn't matter if you're in the office or not, considering the sheer amount of offshore people we work with. (so, no in person meetings needed) Now the guys that fix our hardware.. they've had one hell of an increase in what they need to do since people couldn't just walk down to their area and see if they can fix a crashed laptop, lol.

Yes it is. (My ). I do understand that, I sometimes wonder what to say too.....and that's when I just babble anything about my day or what I've done onsite....
Yeah I'm sure tech had a harder time !!! It was weird during our virtual stay at home schooling days. I honestly can't say if I preferred staying at home or going to school with no students. At home I could clean, read or play .... But then felt like I wasn't at work during work hours....at school I got bored to tears with no kids there.
Aww. I think it was the same w/ my neighbors but they missed the interaction, I guess. They're also older and while that's not saying much, it seems they really disliked the virtual stuff. I just felt bad for the kids, having so little interaction w/ each other.
So true about just blurting out random shit... I felt kinda bad when I would jump in like that, but now I don't. :P
My year is '75. ;)
[edit] About to be gone for a bit.

I'm pretty social in many ways when I go out to the stores just b/c I know what it is to be in customer service, and I also know how it is to be that person that feels frantic about s/thing and just needs to vent (oh my the stories I've heard while just trying to shop... jeez) so I never felt isolated during that time. Plus, I'm kind of a hermit, anyway. (unless I'm in a social event and had some drinks, lol)
It's the choice that matters most to me and the kids had those choices and opportunities to gain social skills taken away from them. Then they were talking about having kids repeat that year... like, are you serious? I guess that's kind of a sketchy area b/c I also don't have any problems w/ home schooling, providing they are given ample opportunities to be in social situations.
Sorry.. mini rant.
Got a few things done and had to come back to do some work but sis still had some time before her next appointment and come to find out, she had organized and paid for her entire baby shower. I'm like... WTF!! She said that no one was willing or seemed willing or whatever to do anything, but this is like her 4th pregnancy, as she's lost the last 3, so I think any of us - as I was trying to explain - didn't know the cutoff date of when it was actually safe to prepare for a baby shower.
ugh

Oh I can't imagine having lost some babies during pregnancy. 😟 It would be hard to judge if/when to have a celebration after that!
I could not imagine them holding back an entire years worth of kids a grade level. What would you do with the kids that were incoming? No room! That is just unrealistic. I also don't think they should say that these kids are "behind". They aren't. They are just where they are. Teach them where they are. Personally I think we are pushing too much too young anyway.
random post of the day (random because conversation has moved away from question)
For library quests, you can prep by vending for books, and throwing them into your vault! I do that from time to time, and I also always save the books rewarded by quests (whenever I quest, that is LOL).
That way you start building your book reserve, and Library quests go easier, and give you more profit
Not a bad idea thanks!
Good morning all. Shopping done. Questing time.
Edit..... You've finished with this game! You've won the jackpot of 2,310,681 sP!
Oh my. That was for a golden glory scratchcard I got as a quest prize that drills had me scratch!
I also won the 200k-ish slots jackpot today doing drills!

I love working from home. It means I can get on with work more without people wandering up to my desk all day and I don't have to overhear people who annoy me lol. We were asked to give preferences for when things go into 'future state' after restrictions and I've opted for 100% home working with 1-2 days in the office for face to face stuff. I love not commuting daily and it definitely helps me be there for the kids a LOT more now too.

Hope everyone has a chance to celebrate their fathers, husbands and brothers who are fathers. I really miss mine. He's been gone for 2yrs now.
Hearing other annoying conversations in the office is what would truly aggravates me. Like, why is a group of guys talking about the settings on their home central air thermostat.... for 15min! Love saving gas from the commute ... and clothes and makeup, lol.
Kat - what time in the morning is the cutoff for Mori? I have no idea why they were talking about kids repeating a year. I thought it was absurd and just way too much pressure on them when they've already been subjected to so much, already.
Figured I would stop in while waiting to see when or if my brother is going to show up to work on my car. It's going to be hot and muggy AF today so I don't blame him if he doesn't want to show up, lol.
We had some excellent storms on Friday night. I loved it. I had some drinks and was sitting out on my porch while the sirens were going off and the wind was kicking up and the lightning was going. Love that kind of stuff. I would totally be a storm chaser if I could.

I worked nights for 7yrs and a co-worker actually introduced me to this site and I was able to do a whole lot of Mori back then. I still haven't finished her but I'm less concerned about achievements unless it comes w/ a forum title or prize.
