agreed with on the spotlight/minion formatting, and also imo: maybe diversify the tc toward the end, where it's all the recolors? it doesn't look BAD per se but i think it could be spiced up some :3

apologies for late reply i was insanely on substances last night. i think you could Probably do either? if you were to remove them, the first part of the tc is strong enough to hold it up imo, but if you disperse them throughout the tc i think it could look better :0

Berrubi - you might want to change the font color of the Minion, it's very hard to read as is. The TC could use a better place and some sort of background or box behind it, it looks like it's just floating on the profile. Now I'm craving cake! D8

Selachimorpha - Such a cool profile! Might want to change the spotlight position, right now it's over the text and it makes it look sloppy. Just personal preference I guess: make the text fill the entire box, or make the box smaller to fit the text. Maaaaybe hide the scrollbar of the treasure, I don't think it looks good but it's not important.

I would think that changing the species would change him in the queue, but it would be quickly back after whoever checks it. You would not lose your nomination. But if you do, you would need to wait seven days. Then send me a message and I will re-nominate your pet. :)

I looked up Selachimorpha and I love the background and the sharks and how its separated. But this is what I see. Its a mess and I'm not exactly sure why.

For Berrubi, I think those treats in the background look delicious, but it imo is far too busy. There is nowhere to rest my eyes and it is very confusing. I would simplify greatly the background. Then the cute art and content would pop and be easily seen. :)

ack! the same thing that happened with Berrubi happened with Sel, it has to do with different resolutions on different computers thanks for helping me realize that though!

Do you think softening the background would work? Like lowering the opacity so that it's not so poppy. I just like the idea of cakes all behind her!

You could lower the opacity. That would help. Also, maybe add a color tint over the whole thing?

Nope still messed up. But you could use this, at the beginning of your profile code. I think it was Yuzu that suggested it, but I'm not sure. And on a bunch of mine I had to change each of all that moved in the code to 'fixed' and that worked. html,body,,-content,{position:static!important;background:none;} .container-fluid {position:absolute;top:0;left:0;right:0;bottom:0;}

I admittedly didn't dive far back in this thread so I may be missing some context, but I just looked at this profile of yours, and the problem of the background shifting differently from the other elements can be easily resolved by setting the background image to a different container. (I chose main-content, but you could apply it to a different one if you preferred, to similar effect.) Here's what I did playing around in dev console, if you want to give it a spin:

DELETE these specific things: html{background: url(https://i.imgur.com/t3E1e7V.gif) no-repeat center center fixed;} html, body, , -content, {background:none;} {height:600px;}

ADD these specific things (some are additions, while many position values can be updated from ones you have assigned in your current code) -content{width:1400px; background:url(https://i.imgur.com/t3E1e7V.gif) no-repeat; background-size:contain;} {position:relative;} {position:absolute; width:410px; height:450px; top:220px; left:900px; padding-right:60px;} {top:450px; left:670px;} {top:40px; left:480px;} {top:620px;}

Hopefully this helps, or at least points you in a helpful direction : )

[edit] I forgot something vital! Since this layout is wider than some displays, it needs to be scrollable ^^ Delete: html{overflow:hidden;} body{height:100%;} {height:1050px!important;}

It can be a bit tricksy working in dev console, since exploratory changes made there don't always equate 100% to what it looks like when actually updated. Feel free to ping me if you try this and things still look off -- it's possible I've left out an edit or have failed to account for something that needs to be overridden.
