brushes my hair over them You weren't meant to spot those! :P

😇 :P

Haha, no. Not impressive at all. :P I live very close to the ocean but I can't actually see it from my flat. Your view sounds lovely!
That is good that your optician will use les bright lights for the examination. :) For me I feel like it has stayed the same for the most part. I guess it could be the LED lighting that is so common to use now. :)
Just a quiet day here for me, watch some fotball, do some cleaning. lol What about you? :)

where you are sounds like a great place for walks, but it must get a bit frustrating that you can't get a decent view from your flat! I suppose those with a really good view would be a lot more expensive as well?
nods I wasn't too sure if it was the LED lights being more intense than the old style bulbs, or if it's actually got worse - certainly it took a lot of legwork to ask around all the opticians in town before any of them could even offer a suggestion :K

and exactly how am I meant to reply to that? Lmao
sounds good. Quiet day here as well.
Just got home from a walk. :yawns:
:nods: If the view was great, I would probably not be able to afford to buy the place. :P
Sounds like all the leg work was at least woth it in the end since you found a good optician. :) One would think they have dealt with similar issues before working in that field. I still have to wait to see if they can do anything for my eyes. :K They wanted me to see a 3rd doctor for a final opinon. Kinda nervous about that. o-o

well you still managed :P
That's what's so weird about the houses in our road - these are quite a bit cheaper than others further along the road that get the same view :P
It was a good job really, as that was literally the last optician in town! Most of the others just wanted to refer me to the hospital, but I wasn't too sure how beneficial that would actually be (even looking at some eyesight organisations online, the only advice seems to be "wear sunglasses") o.O
That sounds quite a nerve-wracking time, waiting to see if they can do anything! Is it a specific problem they're looking at, or your eyesight in general?

That does sound strange! But it sounds like you got a good spot for your house. :D
That is lucky! Wearing sunglasses is kinda obvious, so not that helpful I guess. :P I have what wikipedia tells me is called Strabismus in english and nystagmus (which is basically involuntary rhythmic side-to-side, up and down or circular motion of the eyes). Made it really difficult for me to drive and I am very near-sighted because of it.

Yeah, and definitely not helpful if it's winter, dark, and you're still told to wear sunglasses to block out shop lights or car headlights! o.O
I've hard of nystagmus before - that must be pretty challenging to cope with! And I can imagine that the Strabismus isn't easy either.... I had "lazy eye" when I was 5, so I had to wear glasses with a frosted lens to block the sight from my good eye. But I can't imagine how you handle one eye not pointing in the right direction, although I guess it's something you naturally kind of get used to?

Well the bottom sink side is completely done--doors are now back on. Sink uppers have one coat left and of course the doors. Getting there it seems lmao
Yay walk :D
I suppose :P
I bet you are looking forward to being done with it all. :P Hopefully everyone will be happy with the end result. :)
That is very true! Wearing a cap or a sun hat might help at least. :)
My nystagmus is not too bad according to my eyedoctor, but it does feel weird trying to focus on something and my eyes does not want to do that properly. I never had my lazy eye covered with frosted glass or anything else.. Did you help for you? :) That part does not bother me too much as far as my vison etc at least. :)

very much so! So far I think everyone does like the end results.
:P oooo I love the HA-less HA today :D What's the background?
nods every time I go out, I always wear a peaked cap (I made myself a fleece peaked cap for the winter :P), but there's a limit to how low I can pull it down to block out car headlights, and still see where I'm going!
Well the optician seemed pleased, so I guess it worked! The only reference any other optician has made to it since then, is to comment that one eye needs a slightly stronger prescription than the other (not that I feel it really makes much difference!) ;) That's good with the lazy eye not bothering you too much though :)

That is good, I bet you would not want to start over again with a new colour. :P
Yes, defintely make sure you can see where you are going. You don't want to trip over something either. ;)
If the optician seemed pleased, then all should be well. :) My left eye is much worse as far as eyesight etc, so I have two very different lenses. lol It is my left ear that is the worst with hearing too (for my grandma and auntie that has problem with their hearing its the left ear for them as well).
I bet I dont even notice a lot of the time I am doing it. :P

lol if they want another colour they can hire someone else lmao
I am pretty sure I would have said the same. lol It is a lot of work.

it is indeed! I've finished the third coat of the sink side uppers today so it's finished. 8 out of 10 doors got painted their 2nd coat on the backside and two of the doors (which had been painted along with the bottom doors) got hung. It's coming together. Monday hopefully will finish that side. how are you?
