I thought it looked familiar :P I couldn't concentrate enough today to RS (the few times I did manage to refresh at almost the right time, I was still about 45 seconds late, so anything decent would've already gone), but hopefully by the weekend I might get on better!

i think that's sweet :D sounds "fun" Nothing set in stone for me. We went to ATL yesterday. I do kinda want to paint today but I know I should wait. So I'll probably do some painting this weekend.

I caught three restocks this morning, but none with a decent item :K :P

I've got the windows flung wide (again) as the kitchen sink stopped draining earlier, so we've got the drain clearing bloke working on it.... and it stinks!! [edit] and it only took him about 10 minutes from initially looking, to getting it completely sorted (phew!)

He is a really sweet kid. :D Then again I am biased. lol

Gotten most of the chores done now finally. Mum wants me to help her with something tomorrow.. so that is what I will be doing. :) Paiting sounds good. :D

I sanded the doors to the lower cupboards and primed them this morning. Then I painted the first coat on them and the cabinet.

nods last time it stopped working (also on a Friday), we had to wait until Monday for them to come out, so coming the same day was perfect :D Random question - if there's some screws that have rusted and just won't budge with a screwdriver (all it's doing is starting to mangle the cross bit on the top of the screw), is there an idiot-proof (well, dad-proof at least :P) way of removing the screws?

I haven't had a chance to work on sewing this week - we had our drive & path replaced on Monday & Tuesday, and there was so much noise (and several requests for mugs of tea!) that it wasn't going to work to try and concentrate on sewing. Dad got the garage door stuck (the key wouldn't work, then he couldn't get it closed properly), so I tried sorting that today, but it's kind of a half finished job really :K Maybe next week will be quiet enough for me to get on and sew!

not fun. Well dad's used a drill before in reverse.

that's a thought - I'll get Dad to see if we've actually got a drill lurking anywhere (potentially we've got one of Grandad's old drills, but Dad didn't seem too sure what we've got in the garage even though he's been helping Mum sort through it all o.O) :)

Years ago we had some 'brushes' attached to the base of the garage door (supposedly to stop rodents from getting under the door and into the garage) but with the new driveway being marginally higher than the old one, I've had to take the brushes off (they just slide out), but the thing they slotted into is still catching the new drive, so I've got to get it off the door as soon as possible!

Let's hope next week will be a bit more quiet and that the garage door can be sorted without too much trouble. I have a few things on my plate next week. Appointment at the eye doctor, my nieces comfirmation ceremony/party etc :)

Sounds like you have gotten a lot done already. :) Just got home after a walk through the old town and we ate at the turkish restaurant. :)
