Yes, that's what I meant. I wrote that post late last night after finishing the queue. Either way, I don't think we need to be splitting the finest hairs here. It's less of an issue of the wrong words being capitalized and more of an issue with nothing after the first word being capitalized, hence my example.
thanks! sympathies for being overworked, I know the feeling. I hope the resource I linked to is helpful for someone trying to figure out which words to capitalize. 💮🌸
Hi just want to say....iam nothing to do with the old user with the same..name Chrissy....
A custom wearable item you drew, Amorous Bokeh Lantern, submitted by Violin, was denied with the following notes: Item and Overlay: Please see notes on this item Notes: This is mentioned as being drawn by the user Chrissy, but she hasn't been on site for some time. Was this recolor an old one done by her, or was it done by you? If it was done by you, this information needs to be included in your submission. This information is in the FAQ here: https://subeta.net/forums.php/gotopost/65022492
THANK YOU! NHS... Think pink this October..
I'm sorry about that! If it happens again, just ignore them since they're not related to you :)
ok thank you i will... thank you for letting me know as well. :)
THANK YOU! NHS... Think pink this October..
Does this help you?

~Yes they indeed do :) thank you. I am betting it was a link I missed, wasn't it.
We are the ones who remember, the ones who see what was, and is, and will be.
Me~
This has been happening a LOT lately, so I wanted to ping everyone as a general reminder.
If you are submitting a CW that is being recolored by a user OTHER than the original artist, this information MUST be mentioned in the submission notes! This is required, and we cannot just have a statement that says "All future recolors of this item are by so-and-so". This is both for our records and to protect you as the submitter. We do need to deny items when this happens so they can be submitted with the proper notes, Please see the following in the FAQ!
Hello! Would it help run smoother if we send a screenshot of where we obtained permission/the rights from the artist to get someone else to recolor?
You don't have to, but you certainly can if you want us to have that additional information!
Hi! I know this is extremely basic (and I have been skimming the FAQ, rules, etc. for an answer), but I have never done anything CW-related. I'm trying to figure out what the rules mean. I'm considering creating and submitting a CW for myself to wear, but probably would not expect to have any buyers even if it was approved.
I know that the process goes: You pay a certain amount of CSC to submit a design for a CW. You can also pay 50% more for an "additional artist copy."
If the design is accepted, do you automatically get 1 copy for yourself to wear? I assume that the wearable item is what you're paying for - unless you are just paying for the right to sell the CW on Subeta. With the wording of an "additional" copy, I could see it going either way.
Thanks!
You get one copy with the submission, if you have an artist who isn't yourself and pay the 50% more both you and the artist will get a copy.
Also, when you're doing the submission information, you'll see a spot for "artist's name" and you do need to list yourself there if you're the artist who made the item.
If you have any additional questions I'd be happy to try to answer them for you as I know Jessi is still recovering and I've been in the CW side for a long time! Feel free to comment or mail me!
Thank you so much! That makes sense now. I have read the other FAQ/etc so I think I have no more questions at this time. Much appreciated!
I've read over the rules of foreign language being used in a CW name, but what about in the description? I want to use some song lyrics that have Latin, but they also have the direct translation right after. The lyrics in question are: "Ecce venio (Behold, I am come) Ego primus (I am the Beginning) et novissimus (And the End) Ecce venio (Behold, I am come) Ego finis (I am the Last) et principium (And the First)"
Figured as much. :/ Wanted to double check before submitting, tho. Thanks anyway.
sorry if this is mentioned somewhere(and the ping) but I cant find it in the faqs or anywhere...saw someone ask this in the SB, do the users receive CSC if you use a voucher on their item
if its not mentioned anywhere, might wanna clarify those soewhere
Hm, I could have sworn this was mentioned SOMEWHERE! But yes, the seller still gets their CSC profit!
You can use references/quotes/lyrics for item descriptions as long as they meet the general restrictions/criteria (like no swearing, no foreign language etc) - just make sure that in the notes section you notate that it's a quote/reference and from who/what. I use them all the time for mine. Even if I modify/paraphrase something famous, I tend to note it in the notes section and put what the original text says that way there's no perception of attempted deception.
And yes, if you change your UN, your CW data updates. It's tied to your user ID number, not your specific username!
