You're most welcome!
Hello everyone!
Lately I've had a few people ask if they can get redlines with their denial. This is absolutely something we can do! I don't routinely do it because I know not everyone likes them, and I don't want to step on toes. If you ARE okay with getting a redline, you can just leave a note in the submission and we'll definitely be happy to provide one if needed :)
FYI -- items that are waiting for redlines may take a little extra time to get denied while I get said redline for you! As long as you're okay with that, we're okay to do them! We'll also be essentially limiting it to one redline PER ITEM because they are consuming!
I'm adding this info to the FAQ for future reference as well.
Awesome addition to help us out.

what do you mean by redlines with submissions? I am a little confused.

A 'redline' is when an artist helps another artist out by lining out some issues they might see with art (generally in red, hence the name). Some people like receiving redlines to help them figure out an issue with a denial (generally anatomy or perspective issues).
thank you for that explanation as it helps a lot. I will have to talk to those I commission pieces off of if they want to do that as my artist skills are lacking

hi there, I need help understanding something about CW: why some require a password? I joined one artist forum, but I cannot get the password. Is it private? what does it mean? Thank you alot

I know it's a bit early, but I was wondering if CWs will be included in the Black Friday Sale as per usual? I had a bit of an idea for my submissions, but I wanted to double check before I go through with it because it'll put a lot of my month's money in hold! TY. :)
I honestly don't know at this time if they'll be included in the Black Friday sale OR have their own sale weekend like they did last year.
Okie :) Hopefully they'll have information for you to give us soon so commissioners and artists can plan! Thank you!
I have a question about recolors, I am planning on getting a new color of an existing item done. When I go to submit is it still considered a recolor of that same item if I were to want that item to be placed in a different spot of the HA or is it considered a brand new submission because its placed differently?
Based off what you're saying, that isn't a recolor. It sounds like it's going to be basically a new wearable all together? But I would have to see it in the queue to be able to tell for sure.
Ok makes sense, I'll try submitting as a recolor first then re-submit if needed. I just couldn't remember exactly what you had said in the past about similar things. Thank you!
Hello everyone! This is happening a lot again, so I wanted to send a friendly reminder. You need to include references with your CW submissions. If you used a photo, or you got the idea from a magazine or clothing website, or ANYTHING like that, you need to include it. If you 100% truly used no references, you should state this in your initial submission (we don't necessarily need it for recolors). We need to have this information to properly look at, critique, and accept your CW. Not including any reference information at all will result in a delay as we often have to deny the CW to get this information before we can proceed. Again, if you drew it 100% from your own inspiration, just include that in your submission notes!
