Where did the month of August go??? I'm not ready for it to be September. Does anyone else get sad when summer ends because it seems like winter will be here before you know it? I'm trying to get better at living in the moment lol.

I admire people who help animals so much, thank goodness for them <3 I really don’t do as much as some, I just do what I can. The fires in California are so terrible again this year. The Lake fire that was close to me moved in the opposite direction. It has been burning for 18 days and is 90% contained. The fires that are in Southern CA are above and below where I am. Far enough away that, I am safe. Northern CA is having much worse fires than us! I am worried about my brother and all of his family that live in different cities up there! As of now, they are all safe, thank goodness!! The fires in CA have become a year round thing. They are always so devastating!! I know that you are no stranger to devastation caused by fire!!
