And even if Subeta did get "bad publicity" from releasing kinky items (when similar ones have existed for literally a decade) I can imagine the media would get a kick out of saying they tried to bribe their users with free currency to keep it quiet.

Look at the most recent poll for peoples ages there is hardly ANYONE 13 in that most are 16+, we all grew up with this site.

And ALSO the site doesnt need to offer compensation to anyone period, as a survivor I totally understand I have been triggered from a film that didn't give a warning that, a scene like that was going to be in the film. People are allowed to voice their opinions on items they don't like but they don't need to offer money and such to those that dislike the items. I do feel for victims and such it is terrible that they are reminded but, the request for these items were made with 0 complaints against it until they were actually released. I like the new items because honestly we have far less kinky stuff on here than anything else and what better to match than survival?

If you think this is bad, you should have seen Subeta back in the day when it was down EVERY Saturday morning. Yes, the forums and the SB being shut off was an inconvenience to some/a lot of users, but to demand CSC items/GA time for it is a little far out there.

Compensation seems like a bad pr move. Just raise the joining age to 16+, nobody younger joins usually anyways. I honestly don’t know why the starting age is so low to begin with?

Please keep the fact that I've only started seriously playing Subeta for... idk my bathouse streak is 22 days so I guess that long.

I agree with above that I think Bug did a great job pulling everything together and I really appreciated the message on the forums page from Bug stating that it would be fixed ASAP and that they knew how important forums are. I also don't have a problem with the kinky items, because I'm 1. an adult and 2. not a parent of a child on this site, so I have no reason to be offended for someone else. Also, sorry to those who were trigged by the items, sending you all internet love. <3

I DO have to say though, I am generally disappointed in how buggy and laggy the site is, from the 22 days of me actively playing I feel like there have been more 'bad' days than good when it comes the site- even if it is restricted to one place. Even without the lag and forums being down today, there are still small things like the Rift wasn't reset properly so it could be used again today. It's a small thing but it really is frustrating to deal with, especially since I'm new to a lot of the events here and experiencing them for the first time (survival not included but I think I kind of tried to participate the first year I joined?).

I think the coders do their absolute best and I appreciate the communication, but I can't say I disagree with OP about possibly seeking new coders or volunteer coders. I understand financial issues but I believe volunteers is an interesting discussion-- there are lots of people who love subeta and also have some sort of coding knowledge.

Also I gotta say I'd take 5 free cash shop items... I don't think we deserve them at all, but I'm greedy and like the vanity items. /s

How the hell is Subeta going to find money for more coders if they have to lose on tons of CSC as compensation?

You know, usually when I have some problem with an event, it's usually with the way staff handled some problem. But this time around staff did a fantastic job! It's the players I'm massively disgusted with and disappointed in.

I was fine with the kinky items - your kink is not my kink, but your kink is okay, and all that - even thought releasing them was kind of funny until I read the monumental trash fire that was the comments section in the news. That was a big fucking mistake. I should have known better than to do that. Now I hate seeing them simply because they brought out the worst in everyone, whether they were comfortable with them or not, and seeing how horrible everyone was to everyone else was enough to kill my enthusiasm for the entire Survival event stone dead. Probably going to wind up sitting most of it out, until I can forget I saw that whole mess.

Sorry I went off topic OP, I was pissed and just had to get that off my chest. I won't do it again.

I would blur instead of removing the image, just so nothing goes wrong in shops/vaults/inventory if you actually have the item.
