If you don't like items that are released, you can always block the images (like some suggested in the news post) or just not use them. We're not going to give y'all free cash shop items over the kinky items. When we give out CSC, it's generally as a THANKS FOR BEING HERE SO LONG (previous firesides) or I'M SORRY WE MESSED UP SO BAD (lol that one luminaire tree gift fiasco).

I've always believed that the site was great because it catered to every kind of interest (that wasn't hateful). There's plenty that I don't like, plenty that I accept that I'm not into or that makes me uncomfortable because I'm not the only kind of person and ones' trash is another's treasure and all that. I'm very sex-positive, but I'm still sorry that these items upset people whether I could have predicted it or not.

So many were released in one go as it's likely this was going to be the only time this sort of theme was released. That's often how we work - we do a huge amount of something in one go so that things match, and then we find other areas to work in. So you will not likely see this sort of theme en masse again! (If at all) We prefer to draw all sorts of different things.

You are of course welcome to broach the subject/suggestion of some kind of trigger warning system. I couldn't begin to imagine how it would work or what we'd put on it, but we'd be interested in hearing it to see if it were in fact possible to do.
