I'm ending the year in a weird point. In a couple weeks Wrain will have enough experience to hit T13, so he's kind of just going to sit there waiting for tomes. I have have two similar T11's, a T9 with 127AP that could be more flexible, a T4 with 109AP and a really uneven build that could be fun, and no idea which to work on next. Chances are I'll just waffle over it.

Maybe I'll just give them all ridiculous names.

Looks like I will end the year with two pets at tier 8 (one started at T7, the other at T6) and two pets left at tier 7 (both started at T6). That is 5 tiers between 4 pets in about 2 1/2 months. Not bad. Once they are all at T8 I need to focus on intel with all the dumb ones so I don't have to do as many scroll set adjustments.

Congrats! That's going to be a lot of work farming

I approve. low tier pets with high intel are fun. Just give that pet a bunch of gotf scrolls and tank everyone

cuddles If nothing else, it’s free now.

During Morostide I did pretty much that. Tried it with both freezers and GotF, and overall I think it worked better using GotF since rng wasn’t as big of a factor there. I’ve got two T4’s with that sort of AP, and the one with way more health often had an easier time of things if the fight would last more than five or six turns.

He is very cuddly. You should name one Snuggles to go with Cuddles

Yeah with low tier gotf is better than chain freezing, especially when you have high health. They just do too little damage to be effective with chain freezing. It's better to over heal and tank crit hits

My year went pretty well. 3 pets moved up a tier, Sven and Teba are a little over 300 points each away from hitting T9. Never bothered with saving up for an OHS lol. Maybe next year I'll get it.

Considering how inactive I've become, not bad for progress.

I was thinking snuggles/snuggly face, mittens, or buttons. Clearly, battle pet names. As fearsome as they come.

The two T4's are Health: 445 / 445 Strength: 642 Defense: 446 Speed: 263 Intelligence: 1822 AP: 113

Health: 700 / 700 Strength: 701 Defense: 50 Speed: 50 Intelligence: 1744 AP: 109

There's like a 297 stat difference between them, and they're fairly different from each other for such a low tier. They do reasonably well, better than some evenly trained T5's I have, but it's likely just from being able to stack shrieks or gifts.

I imagine the second with the higher health and strength does better than the first. Who are the hardest opponents they can beat?

The first one looks like he struggled with Gas Mask Blake, Stone Hombre, and Eager Dentist. The second one did 6 wins on Cursed Effigy, and 5 on Pumgpulnug and Eager Dentist. That one can do battle quests up to 15, and probably Mother Mallarchy and Insight. I don't really grind challengers with them- they mostly battle for giggles on the holidays, and the first one hasn't done battle quests since well before the challenger changes.

They're Xuraki and Guinea Pig if you want to look at their battle stats.

Oh yes lots of work but I like punishing myself.. Ha ha.

Well the pets I adopted last month can finally battle. I just need to get Angel to tier 8 as soon as I can and I'll be good. I also need to fix up my scroll sets.

I would be curious to see if you could beat very hard challengers - FeliBot 1.0.1, Fish Breath Jacques, Slavam, Carl, and Evil Morty. Those are several of the very hard challengers I have as beatable at T5 but I'm wondering with enough forj scrolls and the high health, you can beat them at T4. I know when pylot was T6 he was able to beat some extremely hard opponents with the large amount of HP and forj scrolls

Maybe nearer to the top of T4 with 150 more health and strength, but probably not now without a ton more intelligence and borrowing some gifts. Even with 300 more stats it might need the AP and borrowed scrolls.

I’m also noooooooooooooot super interested in using a ton of intelligence boosters on a T4 pet when it might be better to spend that money elsewhere.

Kinda makes me glad I put a lot of work into Arturo's HP.... I was going to aim for 5k and then get his remaining stats to 2k .....

I know not the best thing but he has some decent AP thankfully.

I may need to do some wonky stat ideas with other pets... but I have such an OCD habit with even training.... OTL

a friend of mine did an all strength and health pet. She said it was mostly fine, but once blocking begins to matter it can be frustrating because you have no defense.

Ahh I see. Good to know. Thank you! I'll try that out with one pet then just to see how it goes. :)

Oranos is high health with low defense and honestly I haven't really seen it be very frustrating, even now at high T12. His records are way better than verdugo that had higher def and speed at high T12 against guys like baen and was able to beat the impossible guys much earlier on

Having been gifted a Void Scroll...what's the best way to use it? I see it's a one time use scroll, so is it a good one to use first, and what opponents would it be good against?

The void is a strategy scroll unless you can equip a bunch of them, then you can just use them every turn. You either use it when you want to double blast or towards the end of battle when you need a full block

Good to know! Thank you. Also...do people often pair the OHS with The Ether, or is that a false memory that ha popped into my head?

Opponents that do earth also tend to do physical, but that's not always the case. I personally don't use the ether, I've only found one non event opponent that the ether is beneficial for. Other than that I prefer slappy and Cronus or ME

Yea I use my void scroll near the end of the battle or as my last scroll as another full block, similar to what Wesker suggested
