No, I get you. If all you’re looking for is loot books, then buying is probably the better route. There are ways around spending on high end weapons and scrolls, and you can avoid training altogether and still progress, but if you don’t enjoy battling you’re not going to have a good time. Plus capping a pet is a really long term goal, so you’d need to spend a ton of time engaging with a part of Subeta that isn’t fun for you.

You should be able to. If you can keep healing, and doing some good light icon damage, he's not so bad. If he doesn't have his blessing up he's much easier to deal with. [edit] You Won! I used a more brutal approach instead of finessing a light icon attacker I chose ten Fatal Fire Scrolls in combination with Extendable Elemental Trident and Prodigys Eyeball. All of these do Fire icons, since they are all the same which punches through its defense. Fatal Fire blocks 75 of two of its strongest icons. IMO it drops nice enough loot for me to justify purchasing for myself some nice mod crystals to mop up the icons in the other elements that it deals out.

Maybe we'll all have better luck with the next wave. Noflaik dropped amulets pretty regularly for me, but Torch barely dropped me any amulets.

Not only did that bastard Torchbearer get all skimpy with the Fire Mage Ams, it stopped dropping the book when I was almost up to thirty five copies so all my pets could read it. I agree that Noflaik is dropping a generous amount of Death and Dark Mage Ams so I'm taking more time stomping this one out.

Any good strategies for beating Organ Collector?
