“The wonder of you” by Elvis because my younger son got married Oct 12 and this is the song he chose for our dance together. He knows I am a real big Elvis fan. Now I hear the song, and tear up remembering the dance with my son.

My cats make me happy because they are affectionate and soft and funny and full of personality.

Writing makes me happy because it gives me a creative outlet.

My family makes me happy because we love each other.

But songs? can a song make me happy? I guess there's a song called "Happy" by Pharrell Williams so maybe by power of suggestion it will make me happy :D

What song makes you happy and why? It is not one song in particular. All rock 'n roll makes me happy. Listening makes me feel good.

What song makes you happy and why? (cute married couple slice of life story) The song that makes me happy is called "dancing in the moonlight" - but it makes me happy for the silliest reason :) I often ask my husband to play it for me, and he always plays the version by thin lizzy (his favorite band) and gets all excited when I ask for it, even though he KNOWS that I meant the version by King Harvest. We both like both versions, so it's a fun experience either way, but the little exchange between us (and that it KEEPS happening, pretty sure on purpose now) is what makes me really happy.

I got you babe by Sonny and Cher. I love the beat and I find the lyrics to be romantic and uplifting at the same time. It warms my heart :)

A - What song makes you happy and why?

No songs make me happy. I'm completely tone deaf and most music is just noise to me. I do like some lyrics, but the music makes it hard to hear the lyrics so I can't say that hearing any song makes me happy. At best, some songs are okay. Most are just annoying though.

I guess the closest that music has ever made me "happy" was watching Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield's Space Oddity recorded on the International Space Station. But it wasn't so much the song, as the whole idea of a space song sung in space. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaOC9danxNo

The song that always makes me happy when I hear it is Happy by Pharrell Williams. I know it's super cliché but it's so upbeat and hard not to be happy when you hear it

Hmm. A song that makes me happy. Seems silly, but I think Rainbow Connection might be a goto song for me. I watched the Muppets so much growing up, and this song is just so lovely. When they brought it back out for the 2011, I think I teared up a bit.

At it's core, the song is about believing in yourself and following your dreams, and it'll always fill me with a sense of happiness when heard.

Underrated animal, huh? I think I'll go with a Quokka. It's a tiny little marsupial, native to Australia, and it's ADORABLE. They're super friendly and nice, and generally just aiming to have a good time.
