I cleaned up my flower boxes today and put them away for another season. I got some apple crisp in the oven! Yum!

It's nice you were able to tuck in the flower pots for the season.I worked in the garden all morning. I'm slowly removing plants. The garden might shut down prematurely so it's important to get as much done as I can... but mother nature is going to make me take a break since it's supposed to rain the entire week starting tomorrow. Clay and a lot of rain = gooey sticky mud that makes interesting noises mmm :P I met a gardener that has a passion for exotic & heritage plants yesterday and we chatted yesterday and today. I gave her various seeds and she'll give me some too :D To do a safe exchange I'd put things on the ground and she'd go fetch them... quite the social elegance for exchanges. I even pointed out it reminds me how I give my cat treats... we both had a good laugh.

I"m very disappointed that I forgot to visit the bathhouse before going to work so I lost my count to 136. Not sure if I'll even get to 300 now since before the pandemic I would sometimes be gone from my computer over a weekend so there would be no way for me to have a streak going.

I kinda was hoping that I'd might be able to do it now. but alas it looks like it will never happen now unless I get a smartphone but thats expensive.

Awe, that stinks sweetie. Do you check your emails at least 1/day? If so, do a quick bathhouse visit at the same time. It's one way I tend to remember to do bathhouse.

No I do not. I don't have much stuff come in on my emails so I never really check on it. I just know its something I should do in the morning but didn't.

As a young child I was very concerned when I found out it took 9 months to make a baby. My parent got married on Valentines Day and I was born Sept. 25. My mom said I was a few weeks early... lol, I know for a fact I wasn't born 2 months early. I looked at my mom and smirked, okay, whatever you say, she laughed and gave me a hug.

Miss her immensely wish I could have just one more of those mommy hugs

I have a friend that got married just a little before giving birth to an unexpected but welcomed pregnancy. It's remarkable how it brought them together... lived on separate continents, took a long time to get residency status but the love for their child and each other made it worth it :)

I remember being horrified when I was younger to discover not only had my parents not waited until their wedding day but had been with other people before. Now that I'm older, it makes perfect sense to test out the merchandise before buying :D

Mommy hugs are quite special indeed. Not the same but hopefully will bring a smile

It's good not to be glued to technology as much. It always bewilders me when someone is texting while walking, disaster or comedy show waiting to happen.

Mine was lovely & delicious! I was so stuffed I could hardly move :D I was actually due the 25th my mom told me, so I definitely was a product of Christmas :D I just decided to come out a few days early ;)

====================== Admin. council elections were today. I lost... but it turns out the director quit her job for another and offered to become an admin so she was voted in. I still have ways to make changes happen and next year there will be other elections. It's rare I have sugar cravings; however, I've been taking probiotics that consume sugar and I've had a few cravings for the past while. This calls for pumpkin pie :) I went into intensive cleaning mode after the meeting to spend my energy... now it's time for sweets and a movie.

Definitely an I need a hug and fun cats image day. Montreal is now at the highest alert level (red) and I found out my food bank has temporarily closed... I was supposed to get a delivery Fri. I'll be ok with my parents' help. I'm trying to focus on how blessed I am to still have certain things. I've registered for a watercolor class given once a week (2 hrs). It starts next week :)
