I'll let you keep the bag of patience for the moment, as I've just realised I need to get more ink for the printer before I can even print the pattern off! 😊 (I think that's about 58 pages to print o.O).... one day I will be really organised and actually have the patterns printed off and assembled in advance :P

That's a very good point on swapping yarns! I have a feeling that the knitting patterns I had for toys didn't mention any amounts either - I know I did play with some of the patterns and use two strands of yarn together to make a bigger bear :P but even for that I had to mix and match (parts where coloured yarn with white, and other bits were two strands of white) as I didn't think I would have enough coloured yarn to make it work for the whole thing 😊

Printers.. another thing that requires great amounts of patience. :P I have yet to install mine on this computer. lol I had problems last time I used it, the quality of the prints were awful.

Mixing yarns that give some interesting effects. Like using some fluffy yarn to go with "normal" yarn. :)

hands you a lorry load of printer patience I always run a test sheet print-off when I set up a printer, then you can check if it's the printer at fault, or if it's down to the settings / a loose cable between the computer and the printer ;)

nods and one strand of regular yarn held with a strand of fluffy yarn, can make the fluffy yarn easier to work with too! :D

I went to put on the jeans I made a couple of years ago.... unfortunately where I've put on weight in the last year (which in itself was a positive as I was a bit low on weight), none of the jeans I've made actually fit me now :K So I've got to start over with printing off the pattern in a different size, then fiddle with the fit to make sure it's comfortable before making more jeans that I can actually get on 😊 ....which means I really have no excuse to not be getting the printer ink sorted out!

That is the thing, I could never figure out why the quality of the print were so poor. o_O Test print or not... I am gonna have to try and buy some new ink I think. Maybe that will do the trick. The ink might be too old, not sure.

And a nice excuse to buy more fabric too. 👼 Hope you can find the right size/fit. :)

You might want to check it was the "official" ink as well - sometimes if you go with a cheaper version then it doesn't work quite as well ;) Have you tried running the "clean the heads" programme on the printer? I found that resolved the problems when I needed to use a printer that had been sitting around for a while ;)

Very true, although I do think I have some suitable fabric lying around just waiting to be made into something! The worst bit is going to be making up a rough version in calico then checking it for any fit issues before I actually can cut into the denim itself. Last time I tried that, I think I had to make three rough versions, and even then the final one didn't fit quite as well as I'd planned! o.O 😊

That is a good point. I dont always buy the original ink, since its ridiculously overpriced. 👼 I tried the clean heads programme etc too. So I think maybe changing the cartridge is the way to go. :)

Most of it is the length of time it takes, but also it doesn't help that I'm never too sure what alterations to make to fix any problems on the fit! It's where I feel I would benefit from being able to ask someone's opinion, but whenever I've asked in sewing groups online, I never seem to get any helpful answers :K

The wardrobe won't show the zombieness until you unlock the skin at the end - you need to check out the healer (lazy link) and once it (eventually) loads, it'll show your HA complete with zombie stage in the box at the top ;) But to save the hassle of getting it to load on the healer's page, here's what your HA zombieness looks like:

Carmen was having tummy problems so had to take her to the vet. just got home. So apparently, Carmen has gastroenteritis. She has a very thin lining of her tummy and very sensitive tummy. So the take away is I'll have to keep Annie's food up whilst shes out and the dog will have to change to 2 times a day feeding. No wet food. just dry adult. I also asked about her cough and apparently she has a bit of a cold so all cats get meds. it was a long apt because we were worked in. Carmen had a total melt down on the way home. I had to grab a blanket from the back seat and put over the kennel to calm her down. I think either she was beyond done or worried she was going back to the adoption centre. But she's calmed now. Didnt like her banana flavoured meds though lol. oh lol now I get it :P

laughs normally the one that looks the cutest at the beginning turns out the be the creepiest nastiest one in the end.... but I'm not too sure which one that's going to be this time!

[edit] Looks like everyone who reached stage 6 (maybe?) just had their HA reset to a naked human base.... so maybe stage 6 was the final one, and we're just waiting on staff to unlock the skins in the wardrobe?
