yeah, the oven door is a weird fit as well (you kind of have to lift it slightly, then it shuts with quite a lot of force), so she's also a bit concerned about the idea of having to keep opening it if she's baking a cake! ;)
:P well, there has to be a positive from all that coding tweaking they've been doing, right? :P From what I could gather on the original wardrobe, it was a case of "this is making everything lag and go wrong, so we need to sort it" - and the quickest way they could do that, was to release the new wardrobe earlier than planned.

haha no, it's really not HAHA you're like...wow now where the hell do I put it?
if you say so :P yeah that's what they said but they still have the old wardrobe up. But it's not working perfectly and now the other version is gone which annoys me.
That is understandle! I have never had an oven where you had to use force to close the door really. :)
LOL Also very true. It took me a couple of years to find the charger for my camera. By the time I found it I had of course already bought a new one. :P

I've lost track of which wardrobe version we're on, to be honest 😊 I just click the link in the dropdown and go to whichever one they want me to use :P And speaking of wardrobes, that's an awesome Cheshire Cat look you've got today - the colours work purrfectly with the allotment background :D :D
Mum thinks it's a sign of it being a low quality oven, but it was the only one we could find that was gas rather than electric, that fitted the space! (silly tiny kitchen :P) I think the electric ovens tend to have doors that shut quieter and easier, so I'm guessing that the gas ones have to be tightly fitted.... but they've been saying that at some point you won't be able to buy a gas oven, so we'd have to change to electric anyway (you'll still be able to have the gas hob, just with an electric oven) o.O

-snickers- that sounds about right. So my knitting box crate that comes monthly (started last month) sent me wool and a sock pattern. i'm knitting my first socks ever.
i think it's the 5th but I've lost track myself lol. aww thanks got the kitty from the pawn shop. I love the summer outfit Niamh has :D
That was a great find! :D Thanks :d It's actually an outfit from a couple of days ago, but Niamh refused to change :P

Good luck with them socks. :D I have knitted a couple of pairs before, but its not my favorite thing to knit really. Too fiddly and I wasnt happy with the results. lol
I guess it makes sense that gas stoves have tighter fitting doors. :) That is weird that you eventually only will be ablle to get electric ones. o-o Here almost everyone have electric stoves tho... so I am not too familiar with them. :)

it's meant to be that electric ovens are more energy efficient.... although of course a gas oven has the advantage of not going off if there's a power cut! :P My cousin's wife was making her Christmas cakes last year (she makes about 7 for her sisters and family friends I think) - the first one went wrong, the second burnt, and the third one was in the electric oven when they had a powercut, so of course that one ended up being scrapped as it was only partly cooked at the time ;)

That is a good point with power outages. :) Thankfully it doesnt seem to happen too often. You realize how much you rely on electricity once its gone for sure. :)
Oh dear. I think I would have given up after cake number two myself. :P

nods there was a point many years ago when we'd always have some candles in the cupboard under the stairs, as there would be a power cut at least once a year, but more recently, there's hardly been any (other than the one that was planned a couple of weeks ago, so they could work on the power lines) ;)
I think I'd have done the same! :P Or just given up and bought sponge cakes instead 😇

thanks ooh cute new ha today :D
I had to frog them a couple of time but I think I'm gettign the hang of it. I've knitted some tiny/fiddly things before. LOL I have some er, special additions ;) but it's looking like a sock LOL
Happy birthday girlie! :D Hope you are having a good one! :hugs:
I am sure you will do great. :D In my mind, if you can knit socks, you can knit basically anything. 😆
Its always good to have some candles laying around in case, and flashlights. :)
Me too. lol I have used cake-mixes too sometimes, when I havent had the energy to bake for guests, as well as cleaning and getting everything else ready, ;)

mine isn't anywhere near as good as yours though - it looks fantastic! :D Happy Birthday!!!!
I made sure to get a couple of wind-up torches, so there's no need to fret about having spare batteries to make sure we can use a torch if we need to ;) Although I did get a battery torch last year, which came in handy to use on walks back from town - ever since the council changed the streetlights to LED ones, there's some patches of shadow on the pavements where you aren't too sure what you're walking in / on :P so rather than using my phone's torch, I thought a proper torch (in a waterproof cover I made :P) would come in handy.
I've never tried using cake mixes - it just hasn't ever dawned on me to do that! 😊

aww thank you. lol I thought doing a raven holding a raven with cake was a good idea -snickers- thank you :) -snuggles-
it's brilliantly planned (and also particularly creative for whatever time in the morning you made it!) ;)
Did you manage to find a 'something' you could do today to celebrate in the end?

Those does sound neat. :D I always have candles.. and a have a couple of flashlights at least for emergencies. :)
Some of them are pretty descent! :) Its just a matter of adding a couple of things, mixing it all together. And voila, ready to bake. :D
Having said that, my socks didnt turn out super great. lol But at least well enough to be worn, if not pretty.
That is a very clever HA, I like it. xD

Your masks put mine to shame!

I really really extremely want:I gave up with the idea of candles, as Mum was always worried about them getting knocked over, and I couldn't handle the flickering anyway :P
I might have to give them a try at some point - I did get a packet mix for a microwave mug pudding last winter, but never got round to actually trying it!
I love the HA today, the pink top and hair go really well with the background (and I love the trousers :D) hehe I really should get on and make some more masks, as I've still not done one (or two) for Dad 😊
ooo I'll have to give that a look (probably tomorrow, seeing as I've not got much more 'online time' today ;))
