That's too bad that surgery for your left hand isn't until spring, but great that your hands are getting better! When is your son's wedding?

well I am hoping for surgery to happen sooner like after the New Year. Wedding is mid October. My hand dr has maternity leave starting mid September. Plus end of October I am going to Egypt. So many things coming up, and I wish my left hand done anyway except for wedding.

if you know the heart piercing pain of the loss of your furry best friend..or just want to lend a thought for chook...i think it would be so helpful right now.

THE RAINBOW BRIDGE for our ie baby. Her beloved pup went to the rainbow bridge as she stated..sadly tonight.

"By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill, Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still. Where the friends of man and woman do run, ...When their time on earth is over and done.

For here, between this world and the next, Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest. On this golden land, they wait and they play, Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.

No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness, For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness. Their limbs are restored, their health renewed, Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.

They romp through the grass, without even a care, Until one day they start, and sniff at the air. All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back, Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.

For just at that instant, their eyes have met; Together again, both person and pet. So they run to each other, these friends from long past, The time of their parting is over at last.

We had two sibling dogs, the male passed 2 years ago. It was devastating to all of us, his sister the most. We miss him every day. People say their just dogs, BUT no they are family. I call them my furry kids. I know you must feel the same. I hope you have a lot of pictures and videos, they help.

Oh my god, I am so sorry for your loss! There isn't a bigger pain than losing a loved one, especially a pet. But remember, your dog watches you from Valhala, protecting you from misfortune and bad dreams. Lots of hugs!

Its better to go in the winter its cooler there, from about march to end of September the temperatures there can be brutal.

i have the works of a game to play here in the works...something simple and fun. ..hhmmmm it is fun to get a mini thing going..i will be ready soon to see who might want to play..i think it will be a 7 day duration game wow egypt..how wonderful and enriching such a trip would make..world travelers

I learn more on my travels there than an average visitor, because I get to see the daily lives Egyptians lead.
