Hello! Figured I'd drop in to say Hi to everyone! Haven't really been on since June. Either haven't had the time, in pain, or didn't have a computer. So basically between work, moving everything out of the house for new carpet and vinyl to be put in, falling and getting hurt, and not having a computer for over a month, I haven't been on. Maybe a quick stop in sometimes via phone...but I hate the forums on the phone. Mostly to just keep a check on all my alerts so those didn't get too crazy with the sheer amount of them. XD I hope everyone has been doing well?

I've been the same way...avoiding forums because I'm mainly logging on from mobile. Just trying (and failing) to keep up with Bathhouse. My laptop is dying a slow death and sites like this are just too much for it.

EDIT: Welp, the phone broke. And I have no idea how. The display just stopped working. It was an S5 so it's been around quite some time. DARN RETROGRADES.

No fun! I don't know if my laptop works...where is my laptop even? I really don't know. It's probably been over a year since it has been updated anyway. I get on my desktop because it is newer and WAY faster.

Technically we aren't done...There's not much in the house. Everything is still like in the garage and shed that were in the house. Otherwise everything we basically own is in two storage units that we filled up 3 years ago. :/

Oh no!!! That's horrible! S5 has been around a while. Not sure how long. I think they are on the S9 now? I hate android and having to work with people at work that have them, doesn't make me like them. They cause more issues and I get customers pissed at me because there's not an easy way to get their pics to make prints if we can even access them. (Although people with the smaller iphones that don't know how to use them and their pics go to their icloud which our system can't reach are rude too. But usually the wifi upload works for them. On android doing the wifi upload you can only upload 1 image at a time while on an iphone I haven't seen a limit yet.) On the bright side...at least Mercury Retrograde is over now...I don't know when the others end. Hopefully you can either get it fixed or upgrade. Upgrade is honestly probably cheaper in the long run. :/

Ended up with a Samsung Galaxy J3 Luna Pro at Walmart. Not my ideal choice but financially the best option. At least I kept my number. Lost all my contacts but social media is a lifesaver for that sort of thing. And with any luck I can retrieve photos/videos from my S5 via USB and a laptop.

Taking a mini Subeta break while I get used to things. My Bathhouse streak went boom again so may as well start that over too lol.

Thank goodness Mercury Retrograde is over. I will be praising the goddess tonight!!!

Hello all. Checking in to say I am HOPEFULLY going to be more active in the next coming weeks/months. I have been looking at laptops and I think I may have found the one I want! Say a little blessing that I will be able to afford it soon.

I am preparing our home for the harvest (garden veggies and of course, readying the pond and outside plants for winter), as well as the upcoming Mabon. The weather has turned cooler but not officially "fall" yet. I am welcoming it with open arms this year, however, as I focus more on hearth magic,, solitary practice, and living a greener and more positive focused lifestyle.

I have finally (reluctantly) returned from the woods. I am re-acclimating to life within 4 walls, and very soon will confront the reality that is my laundry...no, really, I promise...I'm back home until the 20th or so, then gone again till after Samhain, then I should be home for the Winter...

How was everyone's Mabon? Any big plans for Samhain? Whassup?

Mabon passed by rather quietly for me. I collected a bunch of acorn hats to decorate my altar with, which is fun. Haven't thought too much about Samhain celebration, outside just being excited in general for the season of Halloween.

Samhain, I'm not sure what I'll do. Maybe a simple offering.

A very big newbie, but I do want to do something for Samhain. What would you say is a good way to start off?

I'd recommend a good way to start is cooking traditional & seasonal foods and doing a simple ceremony/candle lighting or whatever you are comfortable with just to acknowledge the season

Mabon was quiet for me, Samhain is likely to just be a small family affair as my kids prefer "Halloween" and all the trick or treating fun. Probably a private evening offering.

holy smokes I'm so sorry I've been so absent! And geeze, do not get me started on laundry.... Mabon this year was BEAUTIFUL for me. Wed had a massive heatwave that finally broke, so I made sun tea in the morning, and then a simple feast of French onion soup and baked apples with honey. For samhain I've deeply been craving some ancestral magic, and really feeling into the Persephone myth this year, so the new man and I (holy crap you guys I met the love of my life!!! ' got kicked out of my house and wound up in this waaaay better situation and a bunch of other crazy stuff, but I digress...) are going to go to the local cemetery and pay our respects, light a brown candle, give some offererings, have a dumb supper picnic type deal. Waves frantically * couldn't have said that better myself :) Oh my Odin, is it morostide yet?!?! :

I'm deeply into Persephone and Hades this year as well...must be something in the air. I'm actually thinking of dedicating all my Samhain celebrations to her while also remembering loved ones who have passed. And congrats on the new relationship and situation! Isnt it WONDERFUL when you finally just click with someone and realize "THIS is where I've belonged!!!"??
