Will use it for zapping until I either get the zap minions I want or they come out with a color/species I would change him in to.

I've debated about giving up some of mine, mainly the pets I created years ago and I no longer like their name. I haven't made much progress on my to-do list for my pets either, I've three that need a color change and four that need a name change.

Well I like all the pets I have but once I get the 40 pet achievement I will pick 10 to give away because of the cost of training, resort, etc. Good luck.

Yeah I was surprised too. Probably why I never bothered trying to use it with the ps3 before lol. I just want a game that you buy the disc and that is it! I would probably buy some star wars ones if they had any (and were dirt cheap). Emily would only want lion king ones.

I made my last pet. The name isn't the way I want it to be because I can't use the special characters I want, but I've got a pet to zap now. so far the zapper filled his hungry bar and turned him into a dusk torrent.

I need to turn my PS3 on and check out the free PS+ games for this month. The ones on the PS4 were a letdown. I also need to start playing games I still have for PS3, like all the Harry Potter games I spent months searching for. It is getting pretty ridiculous nowadays how many editions they have of a game at release, the base game, deluxe edition, special edition, gold edition, and ultimate edition. I tend to go for the deluxe edition so I also get the season pass. My husband tends to go for the gold or ultimate editions to get all the extra digital stuff. I should look and see if gamestop still has disney infinity figures on display. I'd take Jack Sparrow, Olaf, Simba, Jack Skellington, Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and maybe a few other favorite Disney characters. I checked Amazon and some figures are under $4 while others are closer to $15.

We're about halfway through the deployment, if it's not extended. It's really rough some days, like today and yesterday. It's been non-stop rain since Friday night, so I've been stuck in the house all day because the roads are too muddy to drive on (unless you go 10 mph). I spent most of yesterday cleaning the sitting room and living room, mostly just moving stuff upstairs to organize later. Discovered a foot long blade of grass growing out of the baseboard in the sitting room...goes to show how much I go in there. It's also hard when I have to monitor my in-laws facebook pages to make sure they don't violate OPSEC. They are the kind of people who share everything on facebook. As soon as my husband reached his deployment location, his father posted on facebook that he had made it over there, stated the exact camp he was at and shared a wikipedia link for the camp. I called him out on it and he didn't think he had done anything wrong until I word for word stated the OPSEC rule he broke. What really ticked me off was that my father-in-law tagged me, my husband, and his wife in the post so the total number of people that could see it was over 400, and by the time he edited the post someone had already shared it. So due to that, I told my husband when he finds out his homecoming date, he needs to tell me and only me, because I don't want his homecoming date getting pushed back if his parents shared it on social media.

I always freeze, then start looking around for something to hit them with if I don't have a shoe, maybe through in some cursing (depends on how big and how much it spooked me). One night in the office, I had a spider checking out my toe. It ran off when I noticed it, but as soon as it came out of hiding, I nailed it with a notepad. I left it on the floor for a few days as a warning to any other spiders in the room before I put it in the trash. I tend to find the scorpions upstairs if I've been down in the cellar earlier in the day.

Free games? I know nothing about the PS stuff lol. We deff need a Simba! Emily loves him and lions. She has a stuffed Simba (he had a rattle that was supposed to make it sound like a purr, but it broke a long time ago) and he is always with her. She never leaves the house without him.

Being stuff in the house always makes things worse. Ugh it is really sad that you have to police his parents like that. They should know better without being told :(

Same! I end up staring at it thinking "how do I get it and how can I grab something without it getting away!!!" We don't have scorpions but we have had a lot of grasshoppers this summer. I hate trying to get those! I freak out every time they jump :o

Yeah my new zap pet has gotten useless zaps so far, filling her up and increasing the TC I'll never use. Hoping for some zap minions I still want and will keep zapping until I decide what species/color she will be finally. Still planning to give away 10 pets if anybody needs some. Yeah, every month starting on the 6th, there are about 4 (sometimes 5 or 6) that are free for PS+ members. Most are for the PS4, but there are some on the PS3, though they are ending the PS+ games for PS3 by the end of the year or early next year. The games you pick are added to your library and you have access to the game until your PS+ membership ends, then the games are locked until you restart your membership.

I have one of those Simba's! I got him for my 8th birthday, then I found a larger one at a thrift store years ago that you squeeze to make the purring sound. I've got them in storage somewhere. I used to take Simba with me too for awhile.

It does. I'm now on day 4 stuck in the house with another day of non-stop rain. I drove down the driveway to my mailbox yesterday, wasn't too muddy until I got to the road then I hit mud and spun tires. I could always do more cleaning, but I think today will be a gaming and movie day. It is, but then again they've never had to pay attention to this sort of thing. My husband is their oldest son and the first to join the national guard and be deployed. Their middle son is also in the national guard, but his deployments were always cancelled. I wish I didn't have to keep tabs on their facebook pages and I really wish they weren't the type of people that have to share everything on Facebook so that their friends and extended family are kept in the loop. I've shared two things on facebook about this deployment and I kept them very vague, while they've shared things that isn't vague enough (i'm wondering if they even read through the OPSEC rules I shared with them....maybe that can be the next thing I share on facebook). I'm just glad that my husband stopped keeping everyone in the family group chat updated on the deployment. There's at least 15 people in the family group chat, it would be a nightmare if I had to keep tabs on all of their social media pages. I'm also in a facebook group for deployment military spouses. Some days the questions and answers that are posted are helpful, but lately its been posts about spouses coming home or deployment countdowns reaching the single digits. Meanwhile, mine is still in the triple digit range at a guess. Though my husband did give me another earlier month that they are supposedly coming home. I know I shouldn't be so negative, but I think it's just getting harder to deal with the deployment now that holidays are coming up.

I always end up looking around for something to hit it with, while double checking that it hasn't escaped yet. Most of the time, I don't have shoes on, especially in the evening. Last night, I had just finished watching an episode of Hawaii Five-0 on Netflix, when I saw a brown blob move across the carpet. I grabbed a slipper off my foot and smacked the spider twice before it could get away. Then I had to look around for sometime to pick it up with. I have stepped on a spider barefoot before, we were both in shock. I jumped at least 5 feet and it just curled up. I hate grasshoppers, we have them here too. They always land on me when I'm driving the ATV through the pastures. Occasionally, I'm lucky enough to step on them. I hate cicadas too. I've had a few of them crash into my forehead. :open-mouth:

I got another zap that filled hunger. I'm looking forward to Morostide. Since I don't really have anything going on during the day, I should have more time to TOT this year. At least you got a zap that changed your pet. I'm hoping I can get a majority of the pet color achievements with the zapper. If not, I'll use any of the potions that have been sitting in my shop for a while. So far the alert has been working for me, but I'll see if I have one later tonight.

I bought her Simba when she was around 4. I just happened to find him at kroger for 75% off. I had no idea she would become so attached to him. I have to get him little onsies and he gets his own stocking and present at Christmas lol. She loves him so much!

We don't have to deal with mud thank goodness. We just have a flooded parking lot and some streets get a lot of water. I hate having to go out to my car and end up with soaked shoes and socks. Squishy shoes are just bleh!!!! I don't even deal with Facebook at all. Never have. I just don't have anything to say lol. The holidays always seem to make some things worse. It is good that you have a group to chat with, but I can see how hard it can be to share in someone elses happiness when you are still worried hugs

My shoes are always by the door. I should keep an old shoe and make it the spider squishing shoe! Poor Emily is even worse then I am when it comes to bugs. I have to be the mommy and try to remain calm at all times so she doesn't freak out more. Inside I am just screaming ahhhhhh! We were playing spyro the other night and one of the home worlds has a cricket sound. She started screaming that was a cricket near her. I had to turn the sound up and down a few times before she was finally convinced that it was just the game. It really did sound like we had a cricket in the room.

My husband has PS+, so I jump onto his account to look at the games available each month. Most of the time, there's at least one decent game, but this month the options weren't great at all. I have the gamestop elite pro rewards membership, but next year I'll drop back down to pro since they ended the elite tier.

I got mine in the late 90's-early 00's. That's great that she enjoys Simba that much though! That's better than the kids that play with a toy for a few months then never touch it again. I still have a toy kitten that I got for Easter when I was little, and the rabbit puppet that I used to sleep with years before that....and a giant beanie baby collection.

Living in the country has its perks, but its not fun when it rains non stop for 4 days with another 2 days forecasted. The roads weren't too bad today, but there were some pretty slimy spots. One of those spots was in front of my neighbor's house, and one of his three dogs decided to race my truck and stop in front of it multiple times. I hate walking across parking lots that have huge puddles. Most of the time, the puddles are so huge I can't jump across them and it isn't worth it to walk around them. If I'm wearing boots it isn't too bad, but if I wear sneakers with mesh, then I have damp socks, cold feet, and squeaky shoes. The second winter that I lived in a terrible apartment complex, we got a lot of snow (enough to cancel college classes for a few days). The apartment maintenance workers plowed the parking lots, but left snow piled behind vehicles. The snow was over a foot deep behind my truck, but I was able to back through it like there was nothing there. I felt kinda bad for the kids that had cars, they got stuck everywhere.

I don't post much on Facebook, either. I'll share recipes or cool videos that I come across and occasionally I'll share pictures of my cat or dog, maybe holiday baking, but that's about it. I used to post on there a lot when I was in high school, but now I just get tired of seeing people post multiple times a day about their problems/drama. Most of the time it seems like people on my friends list are just posting to see how many likes they can get. I haven't really talked to many of the spouses that are in the group. I've posted once and connected with one spouse whose husband is deployed to the same place as mine, but we only ended up talking for a few days, then stopped. The past few days, most of the posts in the group have been about homecomings, either those coming up, ones that happened within the day, or just people asking what to wear/what to do for a sign. I'm mainly in the group for the information that gets shared about programs or ways to push through the deployment. I honestly don't even know if I'll get a Christmas tree put up this year. If I put up the large tree, I don't know if I want to mess with putting lights on it by myself (it was already hard enough taking them off by myself). Then there's the kitten that might go destructo on the tree.

I used to keep a few pairs of shoes by the door, but then I moved them all back into the bedroom except for a pair by the kitchen sink. I used to have a flyswatter in the kitchen but that got moved to the bathroom after the other one broke. I really freak out with the spider disappears after I smack it. I've shaken out my hair and clothes multiple times before to make sure it didn't get on me. Crickets aren't too bad, but their chirping is annoying at night when I'm trying to sleep. I've only had 4 crickets in the house this fall (that I know of). One played dead then slowly made its way closer to my chair....he got escorted outside pretty fast.

If I keep getting useless zaps, I'll break down and use the potions that I have. My first zap today was a gender change, the next one changed him to a bloodred torrent.

I've had 2 color/species changes in a row. But since I have no idea what I want this pet to end up as it's no use using a potion or elixir because I don't know what she's going to be yet. Still hoping they bring out a chibi scootle. Sure wish Morostide would start this weekend.

I hate when the plows bury my car, and since we live in an apartment it isn't like I have a shovel to dig my car out. I am hoping for a nice calm winter this year. My car hates the snow so I do not want to be trapped at home.

To me the internet and stuff is an escape. If I have a friend that every once in a while has an issue that I can help with (or they really need a moment to vent) then that is fine. I just can't deal with the people who ALWAYS have an issue. Like every single day! No drama queens for me lol.

i love having the tree up, but i hate the work of dragging it all out of the closet and putting it up. Especially the lights cause they are always a mess.

I am the same way with spiders! They just give me the creeps! We always have a fan on in the bedroom for the noise so thankfully it covers up any cricket noises :D

I got a few more zaps that changed species and color, but lately the zaps have been useless. I've been mostly lurking the past few days. I'll get on Subeta on my phone to visit the bathhouse and zap my pet. I'm ready for Morostide to start, but I'm honestly glad it didn't start this weekend as its given me time to work on designing my husband's next care package, Halloween themed featuring Claptrap from the Borderlands games.

The Game Informer magazines? I still get them, though I might not have gotten one for August (can't find it). The magazine for this month features the latest Call of Duty game, last months featured Assassin's Creed Odyssey (need to read over that one).

We had to borrow a snow shovel when we lived in the apartment because maintenance didn't clear snow away from the front door. We bought our own when we lived in a duplex. It came in handy when the snow plow left snow around my truck on the street. It's only the middle of October and it's snowing here. It's not accumulating...yet, but it's snowing. And I'm stuck at home again today because it rained first, then started snowing, so roads are probably slick.

I have some friends on Facebook that share contradictory stuff, like one photo with a quote that they aren't judgy and are happy for everyone's accomplishments, then next photo is all judgy about everyone getting engaged and they aren't. One high school classmate broke up with her boyfriend then every day after was sharing woe is me type posts. I swear some of my classmates from high school never changed and have to keep themselves surrounded by drama. There was one guy from high school I was friends with, who posted a bunch of song lyrics about heartbreak after I told him I just wanted to remain friends and not date (he cornered me just so he could kiss me, then expected me to kiss him back...so I think I was justified in saying no), we aren't friends on Facebook anymore and I ignore him if I see him in person. If anyone on my friend's list gets to political with what they share, I unfollow them because I don't need my newsfeed filled with that kind of drama.

I love having the tree up too. For the past 5 years, I've had help with some aspect of the tree. I'm typically the one who puts the tree together and fluffs the branches, my husband helps with the lights and garland (doable with one person but messy), then he puts his decorations on and I put mine on. Last year we got a bigger tree (over 6 feet tall). I've decided that the box is staying upstairs, because the stairs are so steep the box has to be carried upright down them. So I carried every single branch upstairs when I took the tree down and I'll be carrying every single branch downstairs handfull at a time when I put the tree back up. Unless I get my smaller flocked tree out, that has a terrible lean. I took the lights off the tree by myself this time. I like to be neat and tidy when I take things off the tree, but that's hard with the lights. I ended up balling them up and tossing them around the tree to get them off, then untangling them so they could go back in the box neatly.

My parents' basement had a really bad spider infestation one summer (I believe they were also brown recluses). In one night, I killed 16, by the end of the summer I had killed 120 spiders. There was one spider that was on the underside of a table, I swatted it with the flyswatter and it disappeared. I spent about 5 minutes shaking out my shirt, jeans and hair and checking everywhere...I never found it. I've found crickets in the house, but I never hear them chirp...maybe that's because I use a white nosie app at night and it drowns them out. They can be really annoying though, it's like they know which rooms have people sleeping in them.

Yeah 2 weeks does not feel like enough time to get all the new items I am sure they will have, I wish they would retire some of the older items.

I hope mine aren't getting lost :( that happens a few times at my building.

Ugh I don't blame you at all. Sometimes it is best to just walk away from those people. i don't like the political talk either. I don't have facebook, but do things pop up in your feed/timeline that they "think" you are interested in? That would get annoying especially if you only glanced at something once and weren't really that interested in it to begin with.

Putting the tree together and fluffing it up is the worst part for me. Especially the fluffing! I never get help with it :( My tree is all sentimental stuff and personal interests so it is a hodgepodge of stuff lol. I have all of Emily's baby ornaments. There is a "train" that I bought one every year from first Christmas to 5 years old (not sure why it stopped at 5) and then other ornaments with her name on them. I also have her pick out a new ornament every year that shows what she was obsessed with at that time. This year she got a Harry Potter ornament. I am running out of room on the tree lol.
