I just got home from work so haven't had time to try any quests yet. "There are no items stocked" As usual in this shop. I have a chance at getting better stuff from quests. Sorry but the shop is just frustrating and annoying the past couple years and I'll be glad to see the next holiday come up. Good luck to the rest of you, hope you can get something. I ordered the deluxe edition before I found out how much it would cost. I think it is around $80. What is the Nintendo Switch? I don't really understand it. Is it just another game console?

Saw a lot of stuff in the pirate shop a little while ago but EVERYTHING was sold out when I clicked on it. Grr. I hate that stupid shop. They apparently think being mad, frustrated and annoyed is fun for us.

I haven't done my quests yet for today, that will probably be the last thing I do before I get off the computer until later. The pirate shop is still empty for me every time I go.

I've got daytime theraflu and nighttime theraflu, and the daytime stuff makes me drowsy. I can't take Dayquil anymore because it knocks me out and makes me feel nauseous. Last time I took Dayquil, my husband wouldn't let me go to class and walked me straight to bed. I was asleep as soon as he walked out of the room.

Gamestop shows the deluxe edition is $80. I'll decide in December if I'll just get the game or get the deluxe edition. The Nintendo Switch is another gaming console. Its their latest system and is pretty much a cross between a Wii U and a DS. You can hook it up to your TV and play on a bigger screen, or you can take the console with you and play on the go. Instead of game disks, you have game cards (smaller than the ones for the DS). One of my friends has one and he's always asking me when I'm going to get a Switch and he's let me try out a game on his. It's definitely interesting and it provides me with a console to game on if my husband is playing on the PS4 in the living room. The Wii U has a screen on the gamepad so that you can play without a TV, but not all games have that option and you have to stay in the same room as the system. The Switch didn't have any sales during Black Friday or Christmas last year, but maybe this year since it isn't brand new, it will have some sales.

I am only forking over the dough for the deluxe edition because of Emily. I know she wants the extras lol.

Hmmm I probably wont get one then. We only play games at home on the tv. Emily has a few games for her DS, but she only plays it at home.

I can't find all of my pirate stuff in my wardrobe. I am sure I had something better than this :(

The pin would be nice to add to my collection of gaming pins and the book would be interesting too (I need to make a banner to display my pins on). The art book would be neat to have too. It's always interesting to see the concept drawings for characters and see just how much they changed. I buy game guides with the intention of using them to look up quests when I get stuck, but I end up looking through them for the artwork and background information. I think I have 15 to 20 game guides for various games, mostly for the ones I really enjoy. I get the deluxe edition for games if it seems, like its worth it, like if it comes with a season pass or additional in-game content.With Red Dead 2, I'll get bonus quests and one or two unique horses in the game.

I need to research games that have been released for the Switch and see if there are enough to make purchasing one worth it. I didn't get a Wii U until last year after the Switch had been released. I'd been wanting to upgrade from my Wii ever since the Wii U came out, but there weren't many games available at the time. Now when new systems are released, I wait until there are plenty of games released for that system before I consider buying one. The Switch wasn't really taken seriously at first because every just thought it was another Nintendo system that wasn't going to be that great, but I think it's transportability (is that even a word?) has won people over. I play games on my DS every now and then, but since my husband is deployed, I'm the one driving everywhere so I can't take it with me on trips.

I haven't bought any guides. I am too cheap lol. I just look it up online if I get stuck. We mostly play the easier games anyway.

They fixed Lukien, so people should be able to unlock him now. Bug made a mistake in the unlock code. It was posted on today's General Updates thread.

I always buy game guides used off Amazon, much cheaper...at least for most of them. The only ones I've gotten brand new were gifts from my husband. And I have all these game guides, yet I still use Google to find it. I just get so impatient or distracted thumbing through the guide. I play a mix of easy and difficult games, but most of the games I have have 3 to 4 levels of difficulty. I started Assassin's Creed Origins on easy mode Sunday because I was sick....I didn't expect it to tell me what to do for the first small area of the game.

Yeah, once the Wii U came out, Nintendo slowly stopped putting games out for the Wii. Same thing happened to the Wii U when the Switch was released. Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was the last new game for the Wii U. My husband and I waited over a year before we upgraded to the PS4, pretty much when they stopped released new games for the PS3. I still have my PS3 so I can play Mass Effect and Dragon Age because it seems like EA refuses to give the ok to Bioware to remaster the games. I can sort of understand why gaming studios stop releasing games for older consoles, but at the same time it alienates those who can't afford or just don't want to buy a new console.

Easier to get items from his quests than to find a miracle and actually get something in the dumb shop. "Your pet has been fully fed by the Zapper, which is a little bit weird..." and another completely useless zap.

I know theraflu works because the first sip makes me sneeze. And the sneeze has that bacteria smell. It makes me sleepy too. Forgot to wish you well and yay for the soup working :) There is always some honey lemon tea or having pears. Also stay away from bread/ carbs or potato / starches if you're coughing, the bacteria feeds on those sugars. My deviant is the same name though I have not uploaded in a while. Gizmo's face is precious.

I get the pings about it for the Site Update hashtag, but I don't look at them right away. I looked through it again and Amber suggested doing all quests because some people have been getting pirate items from other quest givers. I'm giving up on the pirate shop, I don't think I'll ever find it stocked. I was just wondering about quest-a-thon prizes this morning. It's almost been a week since the Q-A-T finished, I didn't think it would take this long to get prizes out.

Theraflu doesn't make me sneeze, but I know I'm getting a cold when I sneeze constantly all day. I'm not sure if I've got a cold, or if it's just something else from the weather drastically changing (cold in the mornings, hots in the afternoons). The soup has really helped my throat. I added gnocchi to it, but barely got any chicken and completely forgot to add seasoning. I always forget to add completed projects to DeviantArt. I've got two drawings from high school that I've been meaning to add, but I'd have to take pictures of them as they are too big to scan. I've also got a chainmaille necklace and newer photography to add. Gizmo was a very cute kitten, but sadly he is no longer around....the hazards of living out in the country.

The only time I'll go back to using a game guide for a specific game is if Google is giving me inaccurate information. I mostly look up quests and romance options for Mass Effect and Dragon Age games. I don't want to screw up a romance and some quests are glitched.

We weren't going to get a PS4 either, but then there were enough games we wanted getting released for it. We also noticed that the new games for PS4 that they were still releasing for PS3 had some issues on the PS3 and just never seemed to play quite right. So we ended up trading in a bunch of games that we had sitting around that we weren't really playing as well as the games we had on PS3 that we were going to get on PS4. That helped us save some money on the system.

I've seen some mentions of the nintendo switch and stardew valley. I LOVE Stardew valley. I have over 120 hours into my file. I am also a huge fan of Legend of Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, and a handful of Animes.

On subeta, I'm currently working on building my account back up, but my favorite things to do here are stock my wardrobe, play some games, participate in events, and chat on the forums.

Yeah absolutely, feel free to join in. If you love chatting and participating in events, I'd say you've come to a decent place. We usually put threads up for the group in all of the event forums (when they're open), and try to help each other with event-related achievements and item-getting and all that. We'll definitely have a trick-or-treating thread up for Morostide next month.

Carl is the only one who is like specifically giving them out sometimes, but you have a small chance of getting them from the other quest givers because some of the items just happen to be in the rarity range of prizes they give out. But it's not guaranteed so it's more rare. I think I've gotten like one or two items from people other than Carl.

Also Lukien is still unknown, I think. His code was fixed, but it may take a couple of days still for people to figure out the actual solution, because previous progress didn't count while the code was broken.

Emily and I are playing Lego City Undercover again, and we still have to look up characters tokens and stuff we can't find. I just hope they don't pop up with a PS5 and stop giving us games for this system! I deff can't afford a new console any time soon.

We watch Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Fairy Tail, Naruto, Yugioh (original series subbed), Attack on Titan and Soul Eater.

I haven't gotten anything good from Carl so far. I wish he would only give out the new stuff! That would help so much!

Thank you! My husband and I just finished Fullmetal. I love Fairy Tail, but he can't get into it as much. My personal favorite is Bleach. I got so invested in that one. I'm also an InuYasha fan, tho it's been a long time since I have watched it all the way through again. I am also very excited for the New Kingdom Hearts. I'm tempted to buy a Playstation just so I can replay the first ones before it comes out.

Morostide is one of my favorites too! That one and Survival are probably my two favorite holidays on the site.

But I love this time of year in general because there are so many holidays back to back. Always something to do ~
