LOL! My last neighbors dealt weed (the least) and got arrested when I was attending HS I think. He was always insanely laughing and it always sounded like they were rewatching Jurassic Park next door lolol They were also bigoted so good riddance. Their daughter was a reckless drinker and clubber, prefered scantily clad outfits and also an internalized misogynist that had a lot of baseless assumptions and nasty opinions of me including the racially fueled kind when I was just an elementary student. You'd think somebody who spent so much time partying would feel better about themselves but she was always accusing women of things half or a third of her age.

Hey, does anybody know what happens to minions and treasure items when you give up a pet, put in the adoption center or give it to another player? Do these go with it, disappear or end up in your inventory. Just wondering since I'll be giving some of mine away after I get the achievement.

Pirate holiday starts Wednesday, meaning the "holiday" of frustrated disappointment because there's never any good stuff in the shop. Hope we see some new items this year.

The minions stay attached to the pet if you do not take them away. I have adopted a few pets from the pound with minions still attached to them. I can't remember about the treasures though.

What's a forum bank? So what's everybody going to do with your extra pet slot? Any plans? I'd like to hold out for a chibi blob or scootle but that might take a while to release those. And I see that apparently no one has figured out how to get the new challenger yet? Surprised.

Yeah, that whole storyline seemed to come out of nowhere. I didn't like that they completely changed Alegarten this year, I liked the old-German/almost Ren Fest style clothes that were available in the shop.

Yes, saying that they don't know when they will bring it back is better than no answer. Bug did reply to my comment on the Update thread. Bug linked to a 4th board that had been started asking about the lifetime shop data and the answer that was given there, which was that they didn't know when they were going to bring it back, so they didn't say anything, but now they plan to bring it back some time after the quest-a-thon. Still a pretty vague answer. I replied saying 'thanks, but why wasn't that posted on the other two boards about this that was locked?' I probably won't get an answer to that.

Spent yesterday bundled up on the couch with a fever and stomach pains that came out of nowhere. Feeling mildly better today, but I'm still going to take it easy.

When I first moved in to the apartment, pets were allowed, unless they were service animals, and people on the floors above had a dog that they would sneak outside all the time. There were also people who smoked weed, but nothing was ever done about it. I had my pickup keys across the hood, talked to the manager who said she would share the surveillance camera footage with PD, but after a month, my husband and I started to assume she was lying and wasn't doing anything about it. That apartment complex has since been bought out, remodeled and opened under a new name. Wow...people like that are one of the reasons I have a close circle of friends and prefer to spend my time with animals. I've had classmates in grade school and high school that did things like that, all of them girls and all of them considered themselves to be the popular ones, yet most of the guys either hated them or put up with being around them.

I will use my pet slot to adopt a pet to use for zapping. I already have a pet that I was zapping, but I like its current form and don't want to risk it getting changed. I've given up on the pirate holiday because I never get anything from the shop, it's always empty when I visit or full of items I already have.

Yes my last pet was for zapping but for the zap minions as when I'm done he will be turned in to an aqua blob. Already have the potion waiting. And yes I used to like the pirate holiday except the last couple years because it's impossible to get anything good in the stupid shop unless you're on refreshing 24/7. So it's just a holiday of extreme frustration and disappointment and I'm always glad when it's over. Which is sad for something that used to be fun.

I wonder if they can even fix it. Maybe they are afraid a lot of people will get really upset if they say that it wont be coming back at all.

Yay I didn't burn my Sweetheart Malticorn Cake. I have the gatekeeper candies to make that one cake, but I don't want to take them out of my gallery. No telling when I would be able to replace them. Hopefully the price will come down a lot more.

Boppers for battling and achievements. 3 are super easy, not a challenge. But the 4th Maliss my top pet could only beat 8 times since apparently healers don't work at all. Darn. I could defeat it 25 times if healing worked even a little bit. Anybody ever figure out how to get the new opponent? What won't be coming back? I gave up on the fishing game, got nothing but junk. Also giving up on the Paw shop. It's got lots of items now but I never see any of the few I actually want.

I don't have the money to raise a pet or live in an environment to see animals often so I keep to myself or a close circle, if I'm not being a loner (which is seldom). There are still people living here with that problematic behavior around the neighborhood, specifically overcompensating by putting on tough fronts and creating their street reputation while defaming or making nasty assumptions about other people. :/ I think I went to a better middle school and highschool because the people were fairly wellmannered, openminded and not riddled with the insecurity and pettiness that are stooping around the block this very hour, my fellow classmates were mature I guess? I mean they didn't have the mean girl attitude that is coming from majorly the men in my neighborhood. These are grown adult men, some of which who could be grandfathers. It must be said, it's been years and they (their actions) have both personally and indirectly ruined kids' growing up around the neighborhood. Personally there were more cliques in my highschool but when it came to middleschool everybody was either friends or neutral to one another. Even then my highschool which enrolled almost 2k students per year barely had any bullying.

Finally got a hang of what to knit with the coffee brown yarn. Finished a whole skein but I want to unravel because of mistakes on the 13th row o~o The instant gratification of bulky yarn feels so nice.

I'll also use this new pet to zap minions. Once I'm done zapping minions, I don't really have a plan for it, maybe use a potion and turn it into a different pet. I have a better chance at getting pirate items from quests that from the shop, even if I get repeats. There are a few plushies and beanbags from the pirate shop I still need, but the shop is always empty when I visit. We're wondering if the lifetime shop data will actually come back. The lifetime shop data has been zeroed out from user shops since at least July, and staff has been pretty quiet about when it will come back until this weekend (on the Sept. 13, Site Update board), but even then their answer was pretty vague. Every thread on the bugs forum I've come across has been locked with little to no response from staff.

The big change came out of nowhere and really divided the userbase (if you go by the comments on the news post that announced Neugarten). I really wish they would have kept Alegarten and then just opened a new shop for Neugarten or have it take place at Peka Park. This year I bought all the wearables that I didn't have yet. Next year, if the old shop opens, I'll buy all the food for my gourmand, then I'll be completely done with that holiday.

From the threads I've looked at asking about it, the consensus is that it still works, its still somewhere keeping track of the data, but its been disabled from showing that data. Part of the answer from Bug was that staff had said anything about it because they hadn't planned to turn it back on yet. It would be a big bummer if they can't get it to work, because I do like to check my shop's data every now and then to see if my shop is doing well. I don't get how they can think that not answering a question that has been asked in 5 boards is a great idea and completely fine. Its like they haven't learned from the previous years when we get upset with them for not giving updates about things around the site.

The fever is gone, but now I've almost lost my voice and have a bit of a sore throat. So I made homemade chicken and noodle soup. I spent most of today thrift shopping, so hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to relax a bit.

I've got another temporary job prospect at the local ag co-op during milo harvest if I'm not needed in the fields during harvest this year. If the pay is decent, they extra income will be nice.

When I lived in the city, I wasn't allowed to have pets where I rented, but I kept my horse boarded with a friend. That cost be $200 a month, but I budgeted for it, and sometimes had to cut back on other things. With the dog and cat, my husband and I can afford them, but we can easily go without buying things for ourselves in order to take care of them. There are times when they annoy me (the barking and scratching), but I'd be lonely without them. Some of my high school classmates act like they are still in highschool and are still the cool kid. One of them talks in an annoying voice to bring attention to herself, which won't help her in a professional setting. I went to a very small rural school, about 50 kids total in junior high and high school when I was a senior. The girls were very petty and quick to say mean/rude things about someone behind their back, but pretend to be their friend the next time they saw them. I was the most mature one in my class, and the classes below mine had more mature students. That's pretty sad that adult men are acting like that, they should definitely know better.

Here is were I have posted some of the things I've made. It's mostly photography and chainmaille, but I do have a WIP of the hexi's. Still need to start working on the scarf, haven't yet brought the yarn downstairs, even though I was up their reorganizing the storage room.

I'm a perfectionist, so if I make a mistake I try to fix it. It bugs me to leave it because I know where it is and I always look right at the mistakes in the things I make, even though I know no one else notices the mistakes.

I am at level 20 :) I made almost all the new stuff except for that one with the expensive candy.

I agree about the pirate shop and quests. I could never get anything from the stupid pirate shop and got better stuff from Carl's quests. The biggest problem with the zapper is that I'm always afraid I'll accidentally zap the wrong pet and all of the others except my zap pet are the species/colors I want them to be. Wasn't the pirate shop supposed to open today?

I'm wondering how they came up with the idea to just completely change the holiday and why they thought it was a good idea. I'd like to think that staff has learned from prior issues/problems around the site where users have asked them to be upfront about what's going on and keep us in the loop. Communication from staff is better than it used to be, but there's still room for improvement.

I'm glad I'm feeling better too. The soup helped last night but this morning I was right back to barely having a voice. Then my mom kept asking me to call my dad and ask if he wanted us to pick up a drink for him in town to go in his field lunch, then if he wanted his sandwich now and the water later or both later.

Yes, it is, especially with all the great/interesting video that are coming out and all the crafting supplies I keep stocking up on. I've already pre-ordered Red Dead Redemption 2, and plan to pre-order Kingdom Hearts 3 closer to the end of the year. Assassin's Creed Odyssey is another game I'm tempted to pre-order or buy after release.

I thought the shop was supposed to open today too. I figured it would be open by now. Hopefully Carl gives out pirate items as quest rewards again this year. That's one of my worries too, but if I place it at the top or bottom of the pet order it should be easier for me to make sure I'm zapping the right pet. Only half my pets are the color I want them, but I'd be pretty upset with myself if I colored the wrong one.

Yeah my zap pet is at the bottom but it's always a risk I guess of clicking the wrong one. Did most of Carls quests this morning to see if there were any pirate items but didn't get any at all so guess it hasn't been turned on yet. If they do start before the midnight change tonight I hope they reset Carl's quests. And I see that nobody has figured out yet how to get Lukien or it's not working.

I wish they had just added on to the original holiday. They could have introduced a new NPC instead of radically changing the old one.

Have you ever tried theraflu? It works pretty good for your throat. I like drinking it hot with a little bit of sugar added in. Kinda like a warm lemonade.

I always worry I'm going to forget what I'm doing and click the wrong thing when I'm moving potions from my inventory to my shop. I always scroll down and stop myself before I click on my main pet's name. I have had more luck with Carl so far than the pirate shop. I got two new items from Carl, along with 4 or 5 older items. The pirate shop is empty every time I visit.

Anything would have been better than the radical, out of the blue change they did.

I have tried theraflu and I have the theraflu tea in the cabinet in the bathroom. I completely forgot I had that stuff, however it makes me drowsy. Chris mixed some up for me to take to work last year when I was sick. That was a mistake. By second hour at the school, I was ready to curl up somewhere and sleep. I think I ended up going home early because I got so tired.

I ordered the deluxe edition of Red Dead Redemption 2 (Gamestop calls it the special edition). I'll probably order the deluxe edition of KH3, unless money is tight after Christmas. I'm thinking I'm either going to buy a Nintendo Switch or a Samsung smart watch as a Christmas gift for myself. If my current smart watch kicks the bucket before Christmas, I might be buying the smartwatch early.
