I think right now he just doesn't want to talk. It may change eventually, but I have no idea how long that will take.

Since it's not an event and it's just lore stuff, they can take their time with releasing it. It's already been building since February when we got Bubbles as the Friendly Thursday battle challenger. I'm guessing eventually Gunter may have more to say, or Bubbles might get more of his memory back, or Anne might find out something about what happened to her father and try to go see him or at least send him a message, or something else kind of related to the overall story.

But all of that could take time, so meanwhile there's nothing really for us to do because this isn't like a typical plot-type story (or even a plot at all). Just some lore and character development over a long period of time.

OK thanks. Sounds really boring and I honestly don't even care about the story any more, was just wondering if anything was ever going to happen.

Bought 2 of the new hair coupons and then remembered why I haven't used the salon in years. It's just too much trouble spending a ton of time trying to color a hairstyle when I have lots of CW wigs in my wardrobe. Wonder if I can just sell them. Birds ends on Tuesday and hope the bugs start the next day. Looking forward to new bugs. Anyone playing the fishing game to get the new items? Has anybody actually gotten 1 of the new items? I remember now why I gave up on it a long time ago. Even if you use a strategy of selecting different locations, no matter how close you get it's just luck to hit the right spot out of dozens of squares. I keep getting the you were so close answer. Frustrating game.

Is it the whole square that counts or just a tiny dot? I think the old game was set up so that you had to click on the exact spot :( very frustrating. I never got anything good from it and quite frankly I forgot all about that game lol.

I don't really know, I gave up on that game years ago because it seemed impossible unless you had incredible luck.

Same and I never have luck with things like that. I just thought I would give it a try because of the new prizes. I am sure I will end up buying them eventually.

Sorry I kinda dropped off the planet for a while. I got really busy with work, work and more work and a short weekend trip (that ended up leaving me with an irritated digestive system because I ate out too much). I did get 3 days off work after I got back, so I spent that time cleaning and re-organizing the bedroom.

I don't like having a lot of items in my wardrobe either, but I've been going after the filled achievement for a few years, so I'm trying to stick with it. I've never tried out the drawer system in the wardrobe, I should probably look into figuring that out.

It seems like forum titles are the main reward for achievements now, which I personally am not a fan of. I only use a few forum titles, so I have to scroll through quite a few to get to the ones I want. Food rewards would be great though, I feed them to Spiril, my foodie. I'm not the biggest fan of cheesecake, but a local pub serves a Bailey's Irish cheesecake every now and then as a special. It's delicious. Good luck on job hunting, it's never fun. I guess there are open interviews tomorrow for a temp position in 3 different towns near me (the job would be located in two different towns, but there's a small chance it could be at a town nearer to me), my parents think I should go for it. I don't know what the job pertains, and its only for 30 days with a chance to continue after that. The issues I have are that I already have a job at my friend's diner until September, and I'm not going to quit working for her or force her to redo her schedule just for a temp job. Also if the job isn't in the town near me, I'm not interested in driving 1 to 1 1/2 hours for work in one direction. I'm not a big fan of the fishing game either, but the new prizes look nice. Doubt I'll have enough luck to win, though.

That scarf is beautiful! I can see why it takes so much yarn. That Moonriver shawl is pretty, I might have to save the pattern :) I have 3 small skeins of scrubby yarn that I bought to make into washcloths, but haven't yet. I have so many crafty things that I want to do..I've got a baby blanket to sew together (paternal grandmother started), pansy applique blocks to sew together (maternal grandmother did those), towels to applique, washcloths to crochet, quilting magazines to look through, etc, etc. I'm tackling the magazines first, pulling out the patterns I like and putting them into notebooks. Once that's done, I'll get back to cleaning the house up a bit again and clean the 2 old sewing machines I bought last month for $10.

I couldn't use the wardrobe without drawers. It's the only way I can find dresses, different clothing colors, backgrounds of different types/seasons, animals, etc. Put the 2 hair coupons in trades since you can't price stuff CSC in a shop unless it's a CW. Darn.

FINALLY. I feel like I've been bonding with this timey wimey for like a week. No option to buy it until now... Would have gladly paid a premium price for it on the first day. xD

[edit] I often fall into the wikipedia hole of clicking on page after page lol. Oh the things you learn... I start with feather plucking and behavior of birds in captivity, and end up learning that chickens can end up cannibalizing other chickens, specifically through targeting the cloaca of all things, known as Vent pecking. And that chickens wear rose-colored glasses to disguise the color of blood to prevent this violence... After that I decided I had enough. xD

I wish there was a channel dedicated to those documentaries on animals and nature all the time, but it would inevitably become bogged down with reality tv junk, like every other channel. 😔

Stupid fishing game. Got 3 you're very close in a row and then you were nowhere near it. Grr. This has happened every time I've played today. How can I be very close 3 times then nowhere near it. Doesn't make sense. Maybe someday I'll have the crazy luck to get something I want. This game is dumb.

Yeah job hunting is the worst! Especially when other people point out jobs you should try for. I have to know if the job is right for me. They think you are being too picky and should take anything. I try to make them understand that if I actually get the job and it is not the right fit (not in the best health) then I have to quit and that looks bad on me. Yes I need a job, but I need a job that I can keep!

Ugh, same problem with bugs I had with birds. The one she asked me for last night I still haven't found so after the reset she's still asking me for the same stupid bug. Only doing this because there are new ones this year. I wonder if the new collection items will continue the ocean theme. Would love to see something with dolphins.

Oh man am i having a great birthday so far xD i'm sicker than hell and tomorrow is going to be absolutely miserable but NOTHING IS STANDING IN THE WAY OF ME ENJOYING THE REST OF MY DAY. xD!!!
