Speaking of pregnant drinking, There was a pregnant lady who was taking the same beginner evening sculpture course as me years ago, she was at least 10 years older than the rest of the students and 6 years older than our baby hipster professor lol. We had introductory 3d models to turn in twice on one special week. On the first day in that week a bunch of us in class saw her drink a can on beer from the yard area outside our classroom, through the sliding window doors... she walked in like she didn't do anything weird but we all saw her drink and put her multiple flat canned project together (a cube from 3 cans) before she slid open the door and walked into class.

The next time we were suppose to usepaper/cardboard and do a different shape, she used the box material for the beer we saw her drink two days ago and shaped it into a cone pyramid.

There is no way she drank only one to two cans per week. One to two cans is already risky enough. It was hard not to judge that, a lot of people in class were vocally all "why" or "really?" and warning her about birth defects and complications. Even the professor questioned her and her excuse was that it was ok if she drank because she gets A 's and A+ 's so "at worst" her kid would get B 's. The hell >:(

It was 10PM on a different week and she noticed me leaving campus so she caught up and started talking to me. I think she started talking to me because I was one of the more quieter less judgmental/ gossipy students in class ((>m<) yet I'm telling you five years later now LOL). We chatted about careers, finances, schoolwork, womenhood, average stuff and when we parted I noticed she was holding a new beer. She couldn't have gotten that from campus so she must've brought it with her.

I think my friend has a bernina. I don't know about sewing machine hunting deals, she said hers was 99$, I was a little jealous of the practical size and the deal but got over it fast because I don't have sewing skills to work either machines. I'm guessing the brother you found is around the size of the bernina to be sitting on the floor/ portable kind? The brother I have is the green table station one. Knee pedal, foot pedal, an oil motor inside/underneath the table. It is heavy. It just fits the entry doorway and was there since I was a child. 99 stitches? :O Maybe I should look for a manual and learn to use the one taking up machine sewing. I don't like the machine because thread gets stuck after running through the metal surface that receives the needle. It's probably on a wrong setting or faulty, we don't know...

I was the tallest in my family at 5'6". Now Emily is the tallest at 5'9". I blame her father. He is 6'1".

I've just been ignoring the extra stuff in the boards because I don't have time to figure it out or play with it. Glad I don't like much of the new collection items, will save me a little CSC. Interested to see what June brings. And maybe vesnali starting on Friday? They tend to start a lot of events that don't have a specific date on Friday so we can have the weekend to get in to it. But since I work and don't get home until Friday night that puts me a few hours behind. Interested to see what new items there will be.

The tall gene is asleep in the women in my family. The men are tall on both sides also taller and slimmer on my dad's side with just one aunt and a first cousin (female) being over 6 feet. I think my dad's side of the family is prettier.

Whenever I find a sewing machine at a thrift store that is under $50, I consider that a really good deal, especially if it is a more complex machine. A couple years ago, my mom and I found a Singer Heavy Duty sewing machine at a thrift store for $5 dollars all that was missing was the foot. But we found that online for under $10. The Brother machine is portable, but its large enough to take up a car seat once it's in the case, so if I ever needed to a machine somewhere to sew with it, I would take a different machine that's less bulky. It has been a few years since I've sewed with a machine (I last made a fleece blanket). The past few years I just been hand-stitching hexagons together and I have plans to hand-stitch and hand-quilt a quilt (possibly a double wedding ring). I have an older Singer sewing machine that belonged to my grandmother that stores in the table. It was not fun carrying it up steep narrow stairs and it won't be fun carrying it back down the stairs when I move. I need to clean it and make sure that mice didn't ruin anything. My grandmother had all the accessories for it, but one of my uncles hauled the sewing machine and accessories off to a thrift store without telling anyone. When my parents found out, they picked up the machine but didn't get the accessories back. I still need to sit down and learn how to use the newer machine. I used my mom's Bernina to make a quilt when I was in high school, but I only used a straight stitch. I've been busy helping my mom go through her fabric stash and all the fabric my grandmother had. Now I'm going through the fabric that my mom has been giving me while we've looked through fabric. I looked online for what could be causing the issues with your sewing machine. I found this thread that talks about a similar issue with suggestions to oil or clean the machine, check if the needle is bent, or if the machine's timing is out of whack.

On the topic of height, my mom is 5'1", my dad is 5'10" and I'm 5'8" or 5'9" (haven't had my height measured in years). I was always the tallest in my class until the guys started growing in Junior High. I was taller than my mom by the end 3rd grade. I've been told that my great-grand parents on both sides were tall and my mom always said the height gene must have skipped over her. Chris is 5'11", his dad is tall and one of his brothers is tall, but his mom is short, so we could end up having some tall kids.

Well that figures, now that I can buy from the TS again all the potions are gone. And I already have the backdrop. Darn. Vesnali starting tomorrow? ;)

I pigged out on roast duck earlier this evening and am feeling nauseous now. It's also grossly warmer today compared to the recent chilly weather which doesn't help.
