Oh no I am so sorry to hear that :( I hope things get better for her. I will let my friend know. I am not sure if she is seriously thinking about it, or just curious about it. I have only worked with 2 artists and they were both amazing! It is always nice to see your item on someone elses WL. I admit that I have WL searched a couple of my items to see if people were actually interested in them (besides me of course).

I generally do not care. I stopped slotting on my things I tend to send the first batch through withot slotting one slot for the artist and I pay the batch.

IF I see interest (as with the bathing suit) I slot the second batch

most of my items are 10 copies only, just not private. I've have never sone something private so far,

I just send everything right to my shop. I have never slotted anything. I just never understood how to do it, and I am not a huge fan of the boards. Even with a site that is usually friendly like this one is I have dealt with a couple of snotty people. I tend to just stick to our chat group or the event boards. I rarely post anywhere else. I have two rainbow dresses that sell the most. Every time I sell one I am always kinda suprised by which one people pick. Both have done a lot better than my other stuff, but for some reason more people like than .

I prefer small things. So I only did like two or three things to my shop.

I sort of feel bad for my small batches, since this year a lot of people have contacted my about my christmas foreground, and I had to tell them all it only has 10 copies and I am not sure if there can be a recolor.

You can't just add them to your shop and sell them? Sorry if I ask dumb questions :( I haven't had a CW made in a long time. Yeah I kinda wish I could give them one, but I can't afford that lol.

if you don't do "laod into shop" you have to set up a number for said CW

(2 batches - aka 10 copies for me) Afterwards you can never get more of those. you would need to do a recolor.

and you can only do a recolor, if you never promised not to do one. That would not be a problem, since those have never been slotted, but all 10 sloty been paid by me as gifts for luminaire.

I just never really imagined that the would end up on so many WLs and people would ask me about the chance of getting their hands on a copy

it feels bad to tell them "not private" so they can be sold if you find one. but 4 copies are more or less locked one with me, one with my sister (who would never sell hers) one with the artist and one with Moondust (who is now not online)

so even not private the item will be sort of hard to find. I would probably think two other frineds would not let go of their copies, also.

Oh geeze I didn't know any of that. Thanks for the info:) There is so much about it that I don't know. I haven't been able to get a CW made in a long time. Hopefully this year I can get at least one dress made. That is always fun and exciting!

Thanks :) I like that one more too, To me it just seems the direction of the colors is more rainbowy if that makes sense, but I do love both of them. I was torn between the two when I decided to have a dress made so I just went with both lol. I used to have the link to my shop in my siggy, but it all got cleared out and now I can't remember how to put it back.

I think I just like the contrast between the black skirt openings on the sides and the rainbow colors going in the opposite direction, IDK it just looks a bit nicer to my eyes.

Thanks :) I usually find two or three dresses that I like and take my favorite parts of each one and show the artist what I want. That dress is actually based on some dresses that I saw that were made from real flowers! The were so beautiful! I wish I could draw them, but I can't even draw a stick figure lol.

Thanks Hun :) I miss finding new ideas. The more I talk about it the more I really want to have another dress made lol. It doesn't look like my original artisit is really around any more (last seen over 4 months ago), so maybe one of these days Violin will be available again! I always have big ideas, but sometimes those ideas don't work so well on such small HAs lol.

I know whta you mean. I have so many nice pictires I'd love to use for luminaire BGs but some of them will just not work

I would love to have a BG made for my friend for her Kakashi HA. I wanted it to be a tribute item of him standing in front of the memorial stone he is always visiting. The problem is with the HA standing in front of it the memorial would probably just look like a rock :( BGs seems to be really tricky like that. One of the reasons I just stick to dresses :D Although they can be a little challenging too. i want another rainbow dress that has rainbow flowers around the top, but I am afraid they will just look like little blobs. At least I have time to think about it.
