I internally freaked out when I found it on the shelf. It was missing a few pieces but otherwise it was all there. A couple dollars for a used one is a lot better than $100. They re-released the set and the new one comes with more. I just opened my gift from my BIL and SIL, they got be a Fantastic Beasts lego set. My MIL planned to have them drop off the gifts when I told her I wasn't going to spend Christmas with them. I am glad that they didn't stay, it would have been awkward for me because I was disappointed with the gifts from my MIL.......a paw print apron and perfume. I got a more useful gift from Chris's grandmother, two bottles of lotion (very useful in winter). I actually ended up binge watching Hawaii Five-0 while working on quests. Maybe tomorrow I'll watch a movie....or play a game on the Switch if I pick up some new games. I'm not looking forward to it. I don't mind being around his extended family, but they can get loud and the noise overwhelms me. I was not a happy camper this year at Easter. No one thought to inform us that the weather was starting to get bad where his parents live, so we had no clue the roads were icy until we saw wrecked vehicles but by then it was too late and we were already doing two 180 degree circles on the road before crashing into a guard rail. My in-laws like to eat holiday meals at 1 p.m. too, and I can't go that long without food. I used to autoprice but I hate all the scrolling that's involved. I think my shop always hovers around 300 to 400 items. I found a few while questing. I accidentally stuffed one in my shop instead of releasing it. facepalm

I need 19 more faeries

Yes it is! You just have to be careful. I bought a Star Wars monopoly one time from a thrift shop. When I opened it up at home I found out all the player pieces were gone. All I had was the board and the cards :( I only wanted the pieces. Oh wow that is a great gift :D and then a not so great gift. At least you got a couple of things you can use. Yikes I would have been freaking out! I would have gone home. I have accidentally stuck a few in my shop. Then I have to go and dig em back out again lol.

I bought a Star Wars photo mosaic puzzle at the thrift store, when I got home I found out someone took those pieces out and put in the pieces for two smaller puzzles. Now I try to check games at the thrift store before I buy them, because I've bought partial games before. Yes, the lotion will be useful. They are scents that I would never buy for myself but they smell good. I'll use the perfume I got from my in-laws, it smells like a perfume I had in grade school, but I already have at least 8 big bottles of perfume that I try to use regularly. Didn't get around to watching a movie today or playing any games, spent most of the day shopping the after Christmas sales and remembering why it isn't a good idea to go the day after Christmas (the screaming children in the mall o.O) I did buy one game for the Switch. I got Super Mario Odyssey. I was going to get Harvest Moon Light of Hope but they were sold out at Gamestop and Target 😢 I was freaking out in my head....tends to be where most of my freakouts occur, but by the time we pulled off to get a snack I was shaking. After we got back on the road and had been driving for awhile, I got a little angry and told Chris we should have just stayed home or turned around and gone back home. By the time we got there, we were an hour late, I was getting a headache from no food, and I was very cranky....there were no smiles on my face. Our dog however, wasn't phased by the incident at all. I think she thought it was fun. When Chris and I left to go back home, he agreed that we should have stayed home, because the only reason we went was for him to spend one last holiday with his family before he left for his deployment. I stuck one in there, and there have been a few others that I almost stuck in my shop. I think it's because I get in the rhythm of moving items to my shop and forget that the faeries need to be released. lol Then I get a surprise when I price items.

Thank you!

The one I bought was all sealed up so I couldn't open it :( I spent way too much of my day at the secretary of state office trying to change the address on Emily's state ID. They had the number as 4046 instead of 4064. I finally got up to the counter and they told me that Emily had to be there! I tried to show them my license because it has the same address but that was not good enough sigh. I had to go all the way home and get her. It was such a pain! It seemed like everyone was out on the road today! Sorry you had to go through that hun hugs sounds awful! So tired tonight! I still can't believe the holiday came and went.

I got the ach.! and the new theme! 😀 That sucks 😢 A few of the thrift stores I shop at tape the boxes closed, but I peel the tape off so I can double check that everything is there. Sometimes they write complete on the price tag, but when I check the contents its no where hear complete. How do they mess up an address? Are they not double checking? I know every time I've ha to update my address for my licence I have them show me how they typed it or I watch them type it in and correct them. One of my old addresses was on a street called Rockhill and they always put it in as two works instead of one. That's really frustrating that Emily has the be there. They could have told you that or have it on a website somewhere. Why I first got my military ID, we walked in and found out that we didn't have all the documentation I needed to have with me to get it. I needed 5 or 6 documents just to get the ID. I have to get my military ID updated at some point still,, but it honestly might be easier to wait until Chris is home. Apparently I need Power of Attorney or a completed Form 1172 with me to get my idea updated. Then I have to set up the appointment but I guess calling the phone number for the ID center that is closest to me isn't the best. Its better to do it through some website that I only have the name for, not the web address. My husband emailed someone who works at that ID office and they told him I was better off going to a different ID center because they were booked until the 27th, then only had one person working who could do IDs. So it honestly seems easier to just wait. Every one was out shopping yesterday. The mall was packed and the food court was filled with screaming children. Why they didn't enclose the play area in the food court is beyond me. Gamestop was pretty full too, of annoying children, parents and people who weren't even there to shop. I found some clothes at the thrift stores and some more Christmas ornaments that might make their way on the the tree. hugs It was awful. I don't like unnecessary swerving in a vehicle (due to me having to serve into the ditch to avoid getting creamed years ago and only missing the other vehicle's side mirror my less than an inch), so I was gripping everything I could and just hoping we didn't flip or that the guard rail didn't give out. I have driving in bad weather and I hate being the passenger during a drive through bad weather, because it always seems like the driver never drives to the condition of the road. I'm tired too. I ended up sleeping in until almost noon. Staying up late Christmas Eve really messed up my sleep schedule, but I hope I'm able to fall asleep tonight. The holiday did come and go pretty fast. Been in a kind of bum, low mood the past few days. I think it's because Chris has missed the holidays and I've spent them relatively alone.

Yay! Congrats Hun :D I am just glad it is all taken care of. Today I had to get insurance for the car (my mom signed it over to me) get it plated and tagged. It took sooooo long and the chairs really hurt my rear! It is amazing how hard it is to get an ID these days. Sorry my brain is fried tonight. I was filling out forms and signing my whole life away on about a dozen different forms. It is pouring outside and the traffic was awful! I am tired right now too and can't shake this headache :(

Thanks! 😀 I agree, there are a lot of hoops to jump through to get an ID, especially after you get married. My friend had to get her driver's license renewed but didn't have any applicable ID to prove it was her. All he mail has her P.O Box number not her home address and all her bank statements are online. I think she had to drive back and forth from the courthouse to the bank 4 or 5 times in two days and the courthouse still wouldn't let her renew her ID. They told her if she went to the bank and had them print off a recent statement, they would take that. She went and got that, then they told her they couldn't take that because it was printed on plain white paper and there was no proof that the bank had printed it off. I think her dad finally went to the courthouse and chewed them out. It was raining this morning and then switched to snow. Now there's ice on the roads and it might get worse tomorrow. 😢 I'm sorry. I'm freezing because I spent 40+ minutes in the wind and cold putting cows in and fixing fence. So I'm spending the night under a blanket.

That is just crazy! If they say they will take something, then they should take it. All that running around is ridiculous. Oh I don't blame you. I am sitting here debating on running out to the store to get some pain meds. My head is pounding, but I hate to get dressed and go back out. I might end up having to though. Pain might win out!

I know! I was shocked when my friend told me about it. They told her to just bring in the card she got in the mail about renewing her license, but she never got the card in the mail. She was tempted to make them pay for all the gas she used driving back and forth for two days. Chris and I had to have paperwork notarized at the courthouse last year, and they refused to to notarize it because we had filled out the paperwork prior to getting there. Se we had to drive to the local library and pay to print out 2 copies of the paperwork, then drive back to the courthouse and fill it out in front of them. We were not happy and I think they knew it. My legs were numb from the cold because I was only wearing sweatpants. I may have been cursing at the cows and about the guy who owns them. I hate headaches and migraines but I can't take over the counter pain meds for them anymore so I have to suffer through the pain.

Some of these place can be so picky! It is like they go out of their way to make things difficult. Went to the drug store. Of course I found two really cute stuffed animals on sale for Emily and had to get them :D They aren't your cows?

It's crazy how picky they can be, and they are never polite when they tell you you don't have the proper documentation or you have to redo something. I feel like they treat me like I'm stupid. I've got a friend who can notarize paperwork and I'm tempted to just ask her to sign everything I need notarized from now on. I would have bought the stuffed animals too. I tend to buy every cute stuffed animal I find at the thrift store. Right now with Chris gone, I have about 7 stuffed animals on his side of the bed. No, they aren't my cows. They belong to my landlord's brother. I told the guy 3 weeks ago that the calves were out and got a 'yeah I need to move them home'.....they're still here. And I still haven't warmed up from my excursion outside to put them back in. It didn't help that I had to make 3 trips to the garage for parts to fix the fence.

Yeah I really hate that! You should deff do that. I wonder how you become one of those notarizer people or whatever they are called lol. Stuffed animals are all over our apartment. Emily loves to surround herself with them and I don't blame her :) Ugh what an annoying guy. He needs to take care of his own animals!

It would be so much easier. I looked into it last year, I think it costs money to become a notary and I think you have to renew it. I know you can't notarize your own documents, so I'd still have have someone else notarize for me. I love to surround myself with them too. Every time I go to a zoo with Chris, I find as least one stuffed animal in the gift shop to buy. I think I have 7 or more storage tubs filled with stuffed animals that I had to put into storage. There's just something comforting about holding onto a stuffed animals. That was actually one of the ways I distracting myself from the traffic in Omaha, I held onto one of the stuffed animals I had picked up at the gift shop. He does. and everyone around here knows that he doesn't really put his cattle above other things. When I was walking back to the house for the last time I was muttering to myself that fixing fence, putting cattle away, and keeping a constant eye on them were things I was never informed of when my husband and I started renting the house. I didn't get all the cattle back in, I wasn't going to walk through tall grass to get to them.

Eh well that stinks! I would want to be one for that reason lol. I am always looking for lions. The zoo is the best place to get them. You shouldn't have to unless they are going to let you live there for free!!

I know! Chris had me look it up because he thought it would be useful if one of us was a notary. However, we would both have to be a notary to sign each others, but I'm not sure if we would actually be able to since we're married. I haven't look into too much since then, but the form that I have to take in to update my milID has to be notarized on the part that Chris had to fill out.....I'm concerned that they won't take the paperwork since he filled his out online and emailed it to me without the notary. I always look for snow leopards, but I've gotten a mix from the zoo. I've gotten a lemur, panther, snow leopard, leopard and I think a fox from my various trips with Chris. The zoo gift shop is always a great place to find harder to find stuffed animals. After visiting the El Pase zoo, instead of getting a stuffed animal, I got a book for my small pressed coin collection, another thing I try to get every time I go to the zoo. I'm tempted to make a bill for my time spent putting cattle in and fixing fence. It wouldn't be a big bill but it would maybe drive in a point that I'm not the one responsible for the cattle unless I live there. My neighbors are getting of the calves that have been getting out as well. These calves have been going across the road, crawling into the field with my neighbors calves and then teaching those calves to crawl through the fence to get out.

They probably wont take it sigh it all has to be complicated (but I really hope they do fingers crossed) Emily has a collection of pennies like that from Frankenmuth! You really should do that! He needs to know that he is responsible for them not you! What is he going to do if something happens to them? Blame you? I hate people like that!

I'm leaning towards thinking they won't take it either, but I'll find out once I make an appointment....if I ever do. I still need to visit my doctor to see if I can get a referral to see an allergist, but I'd almost rather wait to do that until Chris is home in case the nearest allergist is 3 hours away. I have a small collection somewhere, but I can't find them 😢 I'd get one anytime I traveled anywhere. I know some of them have to be in storage at home somewhere, but the ones I had before I moved are missing and I know they didn't get left behind. Maybe they are in the boxes that I haven't unpacked yet. He can try to blame me and I'll just tell him 'hey, I told you they were out, you did nothing, blame falls on you'. My tolerance level/limit for things has slowly fallen during this deployment. One of the calves I put in tonight thought he could play dumb and I'd go away...well his three buddies went in and that left just him. Once he realized I wasn't leaving, he turned around and went under the fence. Then I had a little talk with all the cattle and they made their way away from the fence. I had an issue this summer with a heifer that constantly got out and the guy did nothing about it. So I told that heifer every time I saw her, that she found a way out, she can find a way back in. She would take off for the fence.
