If you remember any meds, passports, wallet and ticket you are usually good. .As you can usually buy it if you are missing anything other than that. :)

The walk was scenic and nice, even tho my feet did not quite agree with me yesterday either. :P But oh well. lol

That's very true - one year we went to stay in a caravan.... the day we arrived, Dad had to find a supermarket to buy a toothbrush, seeing as he'd forgotten his 😇

Hehe.. at least its an easy to find and inexpensive item to get in a pinch. :) Leaving for Oslo Saturday to Tuesday- with my mum and youngest nephew, so wont be around much. :) Gonna sleep over at my mums tomorrow, since the train to Oslo is leaving very early in the morning and she lives very close to the train station. :)

Today been packing day and stuff. lol

hehe maybe his cat brought a friend along? ;) I couldn't resist Gryffindor Gold yesterday ;)

^^ I made a couple more sea pancake plushies yesterday, although the top stitching kept messing up - I think I need to try again tomorrow with a different needle maybe....

oooo that sounds like it should be fun.... apart from the really early train - catching an early train was the main thing I hated about going on courses from work :P

the machined top stitching is just the line separating the main body (which is stuffed afterwards) from the fins (which don't get stuffed) - that ended up with a birds nest of thread at the base in a couple of places o.O I hand stitched the syrup & butter on after stuffing them (as that's mostly over the 'turning / stuffing hole' in the top seam :P)

sits and admires your HA-less HA Those hands work brilliantly with the stars in the background :D

that sometimes happens to me, especially at the start of a thicker seam. It's like nope, don't wanna go through this thanks. o.0 aww thank you :D i was thinking it needed a foreground and couldn't resist the zombies reaching for the stars. I like your HA less one too. The dog is cute

nods I used a blue-tipped needle in the end, and started away from the end before backstitching over the thicker bit 😇 With a regular needle, I had the bobbin stitches showing on the top for a zigzag stitch o.O

It's perfect! :D Thanks :D I couldn't resist the dog :D

I have no idea!! All I can think is because it was the wrong needle, it was dragging the bobbin stitches to the wrong side, instead of having them underneath (I was using a different colour in the bobbin) o.O

yeah too heavy for the fabric maybe? that's frustrating. hehe I like doing that too, if I don't needa swap I try to leave the bobbing. If its not a bad contrast it even looks okay if you do see a little of the secondary colour

I think for that, maybe it was too pointy for the fabric (it was that weird minky stuff :P) I needed it to be white for the bobbin topstitching (the base of the pancake is white), but the top thread needed to match the browny top fabric, so I figured it was easier just to have a bobbin full of white and not bother changing it over :P Apparently if you have the tension set "just right", you shouldn't see any of the bobbin thread on the top.... although I've never quite achieved that :P

i still haven't really figured out changing tensions haha. My singer was auto. The brother I have now, it's on a dial and still trying to sort that. Thankfully any line puckering doesn't wind up being visible most of the time

It's taken me all this time (considering that both machines have a dial) to realise that the higher the number, the looser the tension.... that just seems the wrong way round to me :P

But then again, I tend to just shove it on '4' and not change it if I can help it 😇
