I finished off a couple of shirts today.... this one was the first attempt at this pattern ....but the sleeves are a weird shape - I think I went wrong somewhere! 😊 I will get a photo of the whole thing at some point :P I didn't want to tackle buttonholes on the new machine yet, so I went with clear poppers ;)

And seeing as the sleeves were a flop, I made a second one as a sleeveless shirt 😇 I thought I'd try out some of the new machine's decorative stitches for the front and the armhole binding :D And of course I couldn't resist the blue smiley sun poppers when I saw them in town - they're a perfect match for the blue flowers on that fabric too :D

Hold tight and clench with the buttocks lmao. Ooh those look lovely. Great job and I love the poppers. The flower stiches look so neat. Niamh looks like she’s having a nice time gardening :D very cute ha. I like how you have a window effect :D

ROFL I passed that on to Niamh and she didn't look very impressed :P Thanks :D I will get a photo of the whole shirt this week, seeing as those front views aren't overly clear. One side of the buttonhole placket has a different decorative stitch, because I forgot to change the settings before stitching that one 😊 ....but that's a design feature 😇 Thanks :D I wasn't too sure how to use that new cutout thing, so I thought I'd try it with the geode background and see what happened :P I love the turnips playing in the rain today, that looks fantastic! :D

I have a passport no problem, I am always so worried I am gonna forget to bring it with me tho. :P

Jovy looks stunning today - what's the background you've used with the window frame? hehe sampling the stitches sounds like a good excuse ;) ....and that's the reason why each square of my sewing machine mat has a different stitch running across it ;) nods it's a recently released one, the Janome M200 (they had it on offer, and the store gave me an extra discount for staying 'loyal' to the Janome brand!) :D hehe hopefully you can make a decent profit on selling it ;) Thanks :D I thought I'd try to get her to dress as close in colour to a flamingo as I could ;)

My feet feels smoother and looks better, so I can actually show them in public if I decide to wear sandals or go bathing or something. lol

That would totally suck. :P You can get an emergency passport at the airport possibly, but the lines can be super long and you might miss you flight/or it might be closed. :P

hehe we could get in enough mess just trying to remember everything we needed for self-catering holidays in this country laughs I think if I had to take a passport as well, it'd be a nightmare! 😊 :P

I was inspired by the Sea Pancake plushie (link) I spotted for preorder, so seeing as it uses the Stingray pattern she sells, I thought I'd give it a go to make a mini sea pancake.... ^ it's not finished yet, as I need more eyes (I had one odd eye left in the pack.... no idea how!), so the syrup / butter isn't actually attached to the top yet (that's the opening to access the eye holes :P) :P but it came out surprisingly well :D

hehe I think I need to do the same next time! ;)

The browny bit on the plush is meant to be syrup, with yellow butter on that, so the pancake bit itself is the stringray ;) ....although I don't put syrup (or butter) on pancakes 😇 :P

laughs just imagine it's daddy's sauce - that's about the same colour as the brown fabric I had :P
