I've not got a photo yet of the finished astronomy dress, and the fruit polo polar bear top needs the sleeve unpicking and resewing (I put the sleeves in flat, and they should've been done in the round 😊), but here's my current UFO - non-denim jeans :D (no pic of me wearing it yet, as the waistband isn't attached so the jeans come up a little low for a decent photo :P)

It's a much more fitting design than the jeans I normally wear, so if I make any others in similar fabric, I'd size up (again!) for the thighs :P but maybe a slightly stretchier fabric would help with that ;)

That is when you can be thankful they cant speak human. :P

Oh, thank you! :D I had to try to use it for my griff when I saw it worked with the skin. Thanks! I did one with it for yesterday, but had a bit of a rough day, so I wasn't posting much. Yes, the hand on the cat sweater matched up perfectly! I wouldn't have even thought to try layering them, but it worked so well. :D Ah thanks, I didn't recognize them behind the pretty floral mat. ;) I love the colors in your outfit today, too! They go together beautifully. :-)

Okay so... one of the newer guppies died (no idea why) I went to get a replacement since today was shipment day. I bought 2 honey gourami which looked a lot like the rams but are hardier. Also bought a tiger loach. He's got the coolest nose. And I bought an aquatic frog.
I did an extra acclimation of adding my water into the bag 3 times over 15 minutes before catching them and putting them into my tank. I also added a bit of salt to help lower stress and illnesses. This is from the advice so we'll see -fingers crossed- the loach is super active so I think that's a positive sign for it Also won't be ontoo much today since we are going to the Safari park as part of mum's birthday outing. Her bday is Tuesday.

thanks :D I nabbed the dress yesterday from a user shop, so I had to let Niamh enjoy the unusually sunny bank holiday weekend ;) (I'm sure the weather thought last weekend was the bank holiday, as it's never this warm, sunny & dry for a holiday weekend!) I'm absolutely melting - it's 24C (75F) out there at the moment (bearing in mind the main heat of the day was about 5 or 6 hours ago :P), and I've just got back from 2 hours on the allotment ;) On the plus side, I got the new raised bed finished, and all the strawberry plants we bought in the last two days are all in the right raised beds now :D .... I left dad to dig out the mint plants that have escaped from the pots 😇

Aww at the frog :( but at least the fish are doing well so far :D

Friday and Saturday was just chilling mostly. :) Today I had dinner at my mums along with my brother and his 3 kids. And then we went to see our soccer team play. So its been a nice day. :)

admires your HA-less HA I can almost match that temperature today - I put my weather station sensor outside at long last, and it was reading 28.8C in the back garden this afternoon.... apparently the "normal" temperature for this time of year is more like 14C o.O Mint wants to take over the universe if you let it, so they're meant to be in bottomless pots that are planted in the soil.... of course after a while, they sneak through the base of the pot and creep over the rest of the plot :P

well you certainly can't claim that today's HA-less HA is lacking inspiration, that looks fantastic with the giraffes! :D hehe I couldn't resist letting her enjoy the stupidly hot weather... although I couldn't find the background I was really after, hence using this one ;) It looks like another warm one today, it's already 13C (56F) outside. I bought a cheap USB fan last week, so I've been testing it out over the weekend - it works surprisingly well, and is a lot less hassle to set up than the 'proper' fan I used last summer ;) nods it's a bit like the raspberries in the way it creeps, but I've got the berries under control a bit more now.... I just gave them a patch to grow semi-wild, and try to cut down any that grow in the wrong place :P

Actually it does. A friend of mine asked for the swing and giraffe. But the swing was cut out so had to use this bg instead. works well though! Glad the fan's working :) let 'em grow I say raspberries are yummy
