Yes shortcrust pastry is the same as what we Americans use for pie pastry dough - we just call them different things. ^^ I agree it'd be easier if we all named everything similarly! LOL At least we all use the same name/term for puff pastry dough. :P

Yay for internet being back! I plan on cleaning my shower today- its an annoying and tedious job to get the glass walls on my shower to look nice. Need to do some grocery shopping as well as the stores will be closed for a lot of days during easter. :P

I do have all those ingredients too so I think it'll be great! It's the flu, sadly. :( So as soon as I recover I will try. I want to try that new bread recipe for my family dinner this Sunday so by Saturday I need to be better. lol All of my nephews spent last week and bits of the previous week throwing up/being sick one after the other - two at the same time I believe. Poor things.

and that's a really elegant outfit today! :D At least that's quite easy to swap over in a recipe, rather than it being similar but different enough to not work ;) Although sometimes you hear puff pastry called 'flaky pastry' instead :P

admittedly mine wasn't likely to have looked that good laughs that was in food technology lessons at school, but I had to carry it to my Grandparents' house (only a 5 minute walk) on a baking tray to cook it, as the lesson didn't last long enough to get it cooked o.O

It is mostly stuff people already have in their pantry, which is awesome! :D Hope you do feel better for your family dinner, so that you can enjoy it and have fu n with some baking. :) Not feeling so great here either- kinda sucks. I want to be playing some games, crochet or something but dont really have the energy for it. :P
