I've spent what seems like hours trying to find a sewing pattern, and it just doesn't seem to exist.... I've made myself a baseball cap using an adult's pattern (which worked fine), and having seen a photo of K at the zoo wearing a baseball cap yesterday, I want to make one for him too (he's 4). Only trouble is, I can't find a child's baseball cap pattern anywhere! :K

nods I tried searching through the pattern companies I've used before - all I can find so far are sun hats, beanies / warm winter hats, and adult sized flat caps (not quite the style, but adult sized anyway). I did find one baseball cap style hat, but that was for newborn to 12 months old o.O

Thanks! I really was SO HAPPY the fish matched. I love those fish but hardly get to wear them as they don't match a whole lot. :D Same with the bright orange sea nettle jellyfish. I'd wear them more if they were not quite so naturally bright (normally they are a softer orange in RL).

laughs My science teacher decided he was going to set us a test for the last day of term before Christmas - he was reading out each question, and we got to the third question before we realised it was a joke test as none of the questions were science-related at all ;)

nods as long as the proportions stay the same, I should be able to shrink the pattern down a bit. So far though, I've found two different measurements for a child's head for that age, so it's going to be a bit hit-and-miss whether it'd fit properly or not.
