I love cheesecake but I have never had pumpkin cheesecake. I will have to try that it sound awesome

We make yeast ones that need to rest :D And I just put sugar on them, nutella if i'm feeling exotic :p

My family always has sauerkraut with our holiday meals.

I'm a pretty big fan of this jello mixture my mom makes. Hard to explain, but it's bright pink and very much not healthy.

I love putting nutella and diced fruit on mine (usually strawberries or blueberries) :) Sometimes I heat up thin green apple slices and put those with honey or brown sugar, if I really feel like putting in effort :P

Otherwise my favorite is lefse! My family makes it from scratch every year but only for the holidays!

My family always makes special rumball truffles for Christmas. They are an easy, no cook recipe involving lots of cookie crumbs, icing sugar, maple syrup (hey, I am Canadian after all hehe), and of course... real rum! Folks are out now getting the last ingredients needed and later tonight we're making several batches!

Cranberry sauce (the canned kind, mostly), mashed potatoes, mac and cheese.... Basic stuff but so good!
