Hi Pete!! Me and made chocolate-dipped cranberry cookies tonight!! We followed this recipe online.

I'm on my own at Christmas much like any other day so it's just the same ol same ol food for me although I do tend to get treats/special foods for my 5 (was 6 rest my sweet angel Missy) fur babies.

My family is Polish and my mom makes these crepes stuffed with potato, onion, and sauerkraut filling for Christmas eve. They're SO GOOD. They're rolled up and dipped in egg wash and bread crumbs and then fried. I'm drooling just thinking about them.

I also LOVE the cranberry and orange cheesecake she makes for Christmas sometimes. It's not a regular dish since I'm like the only person in the family who likes it, but when she does make it, It's A+.

I also personally love borscht. My mom makes a delicious, savory, spicy borscht at Christmas and I can't get enough of it!

I love those little pre done cookies with the pictures on them that you just need to pop into the oven to bake!! They always make me feel like a little kid again! haha! :D

Fruitcake! No, really! I'm one of the few people that absolutely LOVE fruitcake- it's chewy and yummy and you get gooey bits of candied fruit in it- YUM!

Honestly I love stuffing. Just plain stuffing with no meat or anything in it. ?

Eggnog and ham! Although eggnog tends to make me sick now....dang lactose intolerance.

My mom always makes shortbread cookies for Christmas, and sometimes nanaimo bars if she can get the mix for it (our family is partially Canadian) and those are always my faves.
